Christmas Saved
Our old steam cleaner had failed inconveniently just before Christmas, so we ordered a new Karcher Steam Cleaner. It was a very good price, so we paid extra for next day delivery (although, it being late on the 23rd December, we had low expectations of seeing it much before new year). To our delight, it was on our doorstep at 9am on Christmas Eve – really outstanding service

Lost package replaced promptly
Item ordered and promptly dispatched with Evri. Evri did what they usually do, they lost my package. Upon phoning Cleanstore they sent a free of charge replacement item by a different courier which I received the following day.

Refurbished Ava washer
Bought a grade B refurbished Ava power washer from Cleanstore. It's in fantastic condition, a few cosmetic marks, all accessories in original packaging. DHL were a problem - they misplaced a second box - but after I contacted Cleanstore, they sorted it and it was delivered a couple of days later. Responsive, competitive prices, recommended.

The item was delivered in the most atrocious packaging I have ever seen the Gardena tree pruner saw which was an added item was dangerously protruding from the flimsy plastic cover. I immediately complained because of small damages on the item and was dealt with compassion after refusing to accept the item in this condition.

Quick, helpful and efficient
I phoned Cleanstore late in the afternoon to clarify some details regarding the Gardena StarCut Pro L tree pruners on their website. My call was answered by a human rather than an automated system (much more my preference) and the friendly lady I spoke to was extremely helpful and answered all my questions, such that I decided to go ahead and purchase.
The thing that impressed me most was that, although she said she could take my order over the phone, it might involve me having to provide her with certain security information required by my credit card provider in order to process the payment, and she was aware that not everyone is comfortable doing this. She was happy to take my order, but if I preferred, as an alternative, I could use the secure online ordering system via their website which involved no human involvement. This is what I did and 2 days later the goods were delivered by courier. I also received an unexpected free gift of a car cleaning product which was a nice touch, and most opportune as I had just used the last of my existing product.
All in all, a thoroughly satisfying purchasing experience and I would highly recommend Cleanstore based on their products and their friendly, good old-fashioned customer service.
Oh... and the Gardena tree pruners have been used with a vengeance and are excellent. I thoroughly recommend those as well.

Cleanstore staff were very helpful
Cleanstore staff were very resourceful and helpful in finding the correct parts to fix my old vacuum cleaner. As a result, I have avoided having to replace an otherwise very effective machine.

Following receipt of your notification your delivery had not arrived on 6th October, we responded within 30 minutes advising we had contacted Evri to query the whereabouts of your delivery.
After allowing Evri 48 hours to investigate, we contacted you on the morning of 8th October to apologise that Evri had seemingly lost the consignment, & that we would have your order resent with DHL.
The replacement order was dispatched the same day with DHL, however was delayed in transit. As per your request the consignment was recalled & your order refunded.
Whilst we apologise again for the delays your order suffered in transit, we must refute the allegation that we have not replied to you. If you would like to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact us, as per our previous email.

I tried to order a garden sprayer from…
I tried to order a garden sprayer from them in August but what transpired was an ordeal.
After ordering on 22/08, I then received an email from them on 26/08 saying they had received my refund request and would be issuing a refund shortly. I had not requested a refund so I emailed back. They said they had cancelled the order because PayPal had told them to but couldn't give me the refund as the transaction had been flagged.
I then contacted PayPal myself and they reassured me that everything was fine with the transaction and said the merchant needed to contact them.
Cleanstore were very unhelpful and offered me no reassurance or guidance on what to do. I eventually had to open a dispute with PayPal and I eventually got my money back.
I have never experienced this low a level of customer service before, it was surreal!

Your order was cancelled following PayPal emailing us & advising that the transaction had been flagged as possible fraud & was being reversed. We were subsequently prevented from refunding the transaction due to PayPal's ongoing investigation & it took 2 phone calls to PayPal support staff in order to have the transaction released & credited for you.
We apologise for the obvious inconvenience caused, however we simply acted on advice from the payment merchant & cannot explain why PayPal seem to have advised you differently as the buyer, to the messages / conversations we have had with them as the seller.
