Cosy cottage, great location
We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage in Croyde Bay. The location is perfect-just a short walk to the beach and local amenities.
The cottage itself is comfortable with everything needed for a relaxing holiday, there were some lovely touches that made us feel welcome. The only small downside was that the shower could do with an update, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. We'd definitely love to return!

Unsanitary, unsafe and a rip off
Within an hour of arriving at our accommodation we were disappointed and stressed out. The glasses and baking trays were dirty, the basic necessities for cooking anything were missing, including oven gloves, a vegetable peeler and kitchen roll, the washing machine had mould in the dispenser drawer, we were given 2 toilet rolls for an entire week for a family of 5 … and the fire extinguisher was rusty and out of gas!
When I raised these issues with the property manager and Choice Cottages, their response was mainly thanks to us for raising the issues “so they can improve their services”. Not helpful for our annual family holiday which we had planned for and looked forward to for a year! We will not be using Choice Cottages again.

However, we were not made aware of any of the issues you raised until after your departure. Had we, or the property manager, been informed during your stay, we would have made every effort to address and resolve these matters immediately to ensure a more comfortable experience for you and your family.

Wonderful apartment with stunning views…
Wonderful apartment with stunning views and close to all amenities. Owners were very kind and helpful.Only problem was the 2 flights of stairs up to the apartment. Being almost 80 years old it was a bit of a struggle but still manageable.

Lovely cottage. Clean and with all the facilities you need. Private little garden with table & chairs & barbecue. Seating area too. Great location near the beach and Croyde itself.

Ocean Views at Ocean Point!
We have had a fantastic week staying at Ocean Point. The apartment overlooks the beach and there is an easy walk down to the beach, restaurant and surfing facilities. The coastal path is just over the road and takes you round to Croyde and Baggy Point. We enjoyed eating at The Blue Groove in Croyde, Squires in Braunton and The Bar and Grill on Saunton Sands. We hired bikes in Chivenor and explored the Tarka Trail, walked endlessly (particularly lovely walk near Lynmouth) . If the weather was grim you could visit The Saunton Sands Hotel next door that has a spa. We couldn't fault the apartment, lovely towels and robes, lovely welcome basket and spotlessly clean. The hosts were very attentive and we have really enjoyed our break, thank you!

Perfect house, perfect hosts, perfect setting!
The house itself was perfect: beautifully decorated, well equipped, warm and comfortable, quiet and peaceful with gorgeous countryside views, but still only a few minutes from town.
Ian and Vicky were excellent hosts, making us feel very welcome. They left us in peace to enjoy our stay, but were always available if we needed help or some local knowledge about places to go. We loved it so much we extended our stay and are missing it already!

We had an excellent stay at Falling water in Woody bay.
The apartment has sunning views, and is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The living area was surprisingly spacious. It’s ideal for walkers. No shops nearby, which suited us perfectly.
I would highly recommend a stay here

Amazing location
The apartment is very clean and has everything you require. Amazing location just opposite the beach. Parking not a problem. The time of year we went we found most of the shops in the area were still shut. Places were getting ready to open for Easter holidays so bear that in mind. Wasn’t a problem for us as we did plenty of dog walks in and around the area.

We had a super stay, in this cosy cottage.Highlights include:super location,very comfortable beds, excellent shower( with plenty of hot water), well-equipped kitchen and lots of light.We had everything you could need for a great holiday.
