Chipotle has severely decreased in quality and the customer service is god awful. The website doesn't work properly and if you want to use your rewards, BEWARE because once you click on it and then change your mind and delete it, the rewards don't return to you. I've been in constant contact with their customer service in the past when my delivery order on MULTIPLE occasions was completely wrong and they always had such a difficult time rectifying the situation and or returning my money to me that I don't even plan to reach out about the rewards issue because I value my sanity. Also the BOT on the website is garbage. It asks you the same questions over and over and refuses to take you to a customer service REP.

First, I was a weekly Chipotle customer, it's been a few years since I've visited.
Today my girlfriend asked where would I like to go for dinner, I replied Chipotle (knowing she doesn't like Chipotle). To my surprise, she said YES...? Anyways, we arrived and was totally in shock what I saw;
1. Loud f'king music.
2. Dirty environment.
3. Depressed/non-enthusiastic staff.
4. The food was terrible. The guac was florescent green!
5. $27+ for crappy experience.
Way to go Chipotle with your WOKE, D.E.I. idealogy. Needless to say, we will never-ever visit another Chipotle!

There seemed to be a language barrier and the ordering process was very unpleasant. I realized they hadn’t put beef in my burrito despite me asking right at the start and when I questioned it they said it cost extra. They asked us if we were ‘taking away’ to which we replied we wanted to ‘eat in’, we were told we could not eat in because they had started cleaning the seating area in preparation to close. This was approx 10pm on a Saturday night. The closing time is 11pm. Why did they ask?

So my son got food poisoning from this location. He was the only one in the family that had chipotle. The food was obviously old and may have been cross contaminated with raw food. Also when looking in the back it was really dirty. Looking at the hot food, you could tell it had been sitting for a long time. When I pointed out the food and asked for fresh and stated that all of this should be changed AND needed changed out. The person behind the counter just stirred it and said it was not that old. Against my better judgement I ordered it for my son. He now has food poisoning and is miserable; throwing up and diarrhea. The poor guy is in great spirits though. I will be following up with lawyers and the health department. Lawsuit pending.
By the way; What was ordered was the shredded beef burrito with white rice and extra cheese.
It’s time for chipotle to start taking this seriously. I’m not going to let this one down.

I visited the Chiplote Mexican Grill in Portland Maine on June 5th as I was rushing to catch plane. This establishment was the dirtiest place I have been into in many years. This was at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
All the tables were dirty, the trash cans were over flowing and running onto the dirty floor. There were no napkins, no plastic ware to use to eat. It was disgusting. I will never go to another Chipotle.

I made an order to Chipotle over the app. The app put the time to delivery as 30 minutes, I continued to wait as the time to delivery increased by 10-15 minutes as I waited. I decided to contact Chipotle - there is no way to get a human person on the line at the restaurant. Instead you get Pepper, an AI bot. I never received an order confirmation email. So twice the bot just kicked me out. Then I called the Chipotle line. The representative was rude and accusatory, saying I did not specify the app but said online, which was not true. Obviously there was something wrong with their app, but the accusatory tone and no helpful assistance was mind boggling to me, and I work with customer service. I had been only once to Chipotle before, but I will never eat there again.
Very disappointing
We ordered takeout on the app & arrived 10 minutes after it was supposed to be made but they hadn’t started the order. The portion was very disappointing and I received about ten shreds of lettuce.

Always messy counters.
Always tiny portion sizes (specifically meat/lettuce).
Always running out of items (specifically chicken/lettuce).
Always favor online orders and DoorDash over physical customers.

It was my first time there
It was my first time there. I thought I was ordering a taco salad, but there was no shell. I had a bowl of soggy "whatevers." The steak was mostly gristle. I threw most of it out. Very nasty. The chips weren't even good, too spicy. Money wasted; I won't be back.
