I am absolutely horrified by this…
I am absolutely horrified by this sunscreen. I bought Childs Farm SPF 50 sunscreen specifically because my twins have eczema, and I trusted the brand's claims that it was suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
Shortly after using it, both of my twins developed a severe rash. Seeing their skin react so badly was incredibly upsetting, and it's the exact opposite of what I expected from a brand that promotes itself as being gentle and safe for children with eczema as per their marketing claims.
I appreciate that every child is different, but this was our experience. I only wish I had read the reviews beforehand, as I later found other parents describing similar experiences.
Based on our experience, I would never buy this product again and would urge parents of children with eczema or very sensitive skin to use caution.
New formula is extremely disappointing
Since changing the formula my child’s hair is completely dull, the smell its way off compared to the original and the her eczema has flared up massively. I was able to get my hands on some old formulas and the difference it makes it’s unbelievable. Absolutely devastating that the owner sold out for cheaper formulas resulting in long lasting customers being let down and searching for the next best brand, this has ultimately tarnished the name. Very disappointing

Child farm is the product that every been made from Bath wash to night cream, has saved are baby skin and made his skin soft again, will never use anything else.
It is a bit expensive but it is worth it
I recently purchased the body…
I recently purchased the body moisturiser to use for myself as I have fragrance sensitivities. This moisturiser has an awful rancid almond smell, - it’s like it has “gone off”. Very disappointing.
Such good products
Such good products, I been using child farm suncream factor 50+ and it works amazing yes it did advice it will give yellow stain on clothes if any dropped. But all good. My girls happy with it. So not sure why loads of negatives comments scammers definitely. Used it whilst going on a. Walk for hour when the weather is 28 and no burns no strokes, two happy bunnies enjoying the sunshine thank you child's farm for giving the best suncream out there and vegan friends and animal cruelty love love
yellow/orange greasy stains all over…
yellow/orange greasy stains all over several of my child’s clothes that simply won’t wash out. The marks appeared around the neckline, sleeves and anywhere the sunscreen had rubbed against the fabric. I’ve tried rewashing them multiple times and the stains are still there.
I understand some sunscreens can transfer slightly, but I’ve honestly never had a product stain clothing this badly before. A couple of outfits now look completely ruined because of it. Considering how expensive children’s clothes are, it’s really frustrating. I definitely won’t be buying this sunscreen again and wouldn’t recommend it to other parents.
Not good , terrible
Hello, old swim shampoo 3 in 1 was good and now they have ruined it , defo formula bee changed and smells like tooth paste and water after washing teh hair is too cloudy than bfre and also same foamy and bubbly water when we brush the teeth with paste and also the package doesn’t say organic mint anymore
Child’s farm factor 50 sun cream
Just returned of our family trip away. My children used child’s farm factor 50 sun cream. I have nothing to say than what an AWFUL product. My son was burning on the first day of me applying this every 30 mins after I see him burning. Still kept applying and this got dramatically worse. Using this product resulted in severe burnt skin. Sun stroke, being sick, passing out and left him with 2nd degree burns with blisters. Would stay well away from this product and will tell everyone to stay well clear.
Shame on the owner of child’s farm for…
Shame on the owner of child’s farm for selling out to cussons. They’re changed all of the long standing formulas for the worse. The creams (which had a huge loyal customer base) are no longer thick and effective. They’re thin, watery and make the eczema worse! The shower gels and shampoos have had strong scented chemicals added. Greed all around. Cheap Soybean oil has also been added as a budget substitute for the previous ingredients the cream used to have. Making it thin and no longer hypoallergenic. They will lose so many sales now-serves them right too. People will be itching all over the country with eczema they previously had under control- what a wicked thing to do.
A Pleasant Surprise – Really Impressed with Childs Farm
I was using Aveeno and Nala Baby products, but my husband accidentally bought Childs Farm baby wash. Honestly, I’m impressed. The product smells amazing, feels gentle on my baby’s skin, and works really well.
I wasn’t planning to switch, but this has changed my mind. I’ll definitely be trying more Childs Farm products.
Where can I buy the original product?
I searched online to see if something had happened to the formula and found this hit. My experience is the same as everyone else's. What was once a miracle product is now making my skin weep, crack and scale. It is worse WITH the product than without.
Change of formula not good and very disappointing.
I have been using Childs farm moisturiser for a number of years and it kept my eczema at bay really well. Unfortunately the new formula is useless and not suitable for sensitive skin. I’m now back to using large amounts of steroid ointment again, very disappointing.

Another company changing things up for profit over customers satisfaction. If it isn't broken why fix it. As an adult I've used Child Farm for my ezcma proun skin for 10 years now. Brilliant product until recently when I noticed a change in the formula and my skin condition worsened! Horrible product now. Such a shame!
New formula irritates skin
I've been using Child's farm moisturiser for ten years on my eczema-prone skin, but I was so disappointed to discover they have changed the formula. It is not as good. It is harsh and it irritates my skin. It made my eyes sting. So disappointed at the new formula. Not so suitable for babies or children. I wish they would revert back to the brilliant product it was.
New sweet orange formula not fit for use
My daughter and I have exclusively used Child’s Farm Sweet Orange hair & body wash for over 10 years now on our hair and bodies. The new formula is simply horrid. The consistency is like jelly, it foams up, but only where you put it, it’s impossible to spread onto other areas like the original formula. As a result I’m using twice as much and our hair doesn’t feel clean, it ends up way more tangly. As a result I then have to use more conditioner than I usually would (certainly not one of theirs). It certainly doesn’t get the “squeak” in the squeaky clean like the original formula hair & body wash. I’m extremely disappointed. Their Quality Assurance department should be ashamed of accepting such a poor formula as fit for use. I will give my feedback directly to the company, and then find an alternative brand.
Formula Change!
The new formula for the watermelon and pineapple hair and body wash is horrible :( it smells nothing like the lovely natural mainly pineapple scent it used to have and has been replaced with a cheap synthetic watermelon stench. What a way to ruin a great product.
Organic Sweet Orange Hair and body…
Organic Sweet Orange Hair and body wash. We are long time users of this product over nearly 10 years. The new 'improved' formular has a very chemical smell and contains allergens which have caused my child's eczema to return. I can only guess that it is due to corporate cost cutting from the new owners. What a disappointment that an excellent product is no more.
Product Management Gone Mad
Have been a long time customer of their unscented baby shampoo but now replaced by awful scented shampoo and body wash - what were they thinking - customer no more!
My child head is full of dandruff and…
My child’s head is full of dandruff and eczema after using Child Farm’s shampoo.
New formulations irritate my skin badly
I've used Child's Farm sensitive baby moisturiser for years: it's the only one I've found that was tolerated by the skin on my face.
However the new "improved" formulation immediately caused my face to sting painfully and to break out into a rash. I then tried an alternative Child's Farm moisturiser and that had exactly the same effect.
It's no longer suitable for sensitive skin.
I'm now starting the search for another moisturiser / emollient.
