An integral part of the build-up to Christmas is choosing some lovely cheeses and accompanying tracklements from the Cheshire Cheese Company. I was a bit sad that one of the cheeses I had ordered was out of stock and another substituted, given that I had ordered early (for later delivery), but I know it will all be nice.

Arrived on time and it was a lovely Christmas present for my family

This review is regarding the lack of customer service. I made an order for a hamper as a gift and immediately after making the order the email confirmed the order but had both my billing address and recipients address as the delivery address. I made several phone calls immediately to customer services to try and rectify this but there was no answer but there was an answer phone which I left several messages making it very clear that this needed to be rectified. However I was never called back. I also sent several messages by email, again never once received a reply. I then got an email from Royak Mail to say that they had the parcel and it was returned to Sender as the address was wrong. Strangely enough I received an email from the company to say the following day it had been returned and they would not refund the cheese as it would have to be disposed of. I understand all of this but the point is that this could all have been avoided if they had a better customer service. It would appear that they are only interested in getting orders but are not trying to ensure the buyer has any help with orders after the transaction has taken place. Very disappointing, was really looking forward to giving this as a gift after reading good reviews. I won't use this company again, purely due to lack of customer service and the lack of empathy.

Really disappointed with service this year. I ordered from this company last year for a Christmas gift for relatives living elsewhere and it all arrived in time. I ordered this year on 12 December and haven't heard anything from the company despite the order receipt saying I would receive tracking details. I've emailed twice & chased, sent a message via social media and completed the web form on their site but have had no response.

I'll need to look for a refund via my bank if possible for not providing the goods I have paid for.

Didn’t receive my order. Contacted them by phone several times left my phone number, no one has contacted me, also emailed them still no reply. I will never buy from these again. You have taken my money on the 24th of November. This was a Christmas present. Let down big time.

The products were good and nice range of hampers. Unfortunately there was an issue with delivery (seems to be an issue with royal mail) but the customer service team were very helpful and quickly offered redelivery or a refund

I placed an order with Cheshire Cheese Company via QVC on the 9th December which QVC were advertising as arriving in ample time for Christmas.
Received a notification from QVC on the 11th saying that the order had been dispatched.
As of today (23 December) I am yet to receive my order.
I emailed Cheshire Cheese Company last week about said order & I didn't even receive a reply.
I won't be using their company in future.
If you can't fulfill your orders don't advertise on a national shopping channel.

Did not receive part of my order. I have tried e-mailing and leaving voice messages, but absolutely no response.
Unbeleivably poor customer service.
Obviously mistakes happen, but to make no effort to correct them is unprofessional.
I have bought previously from this company but will not be ordering again.
Reading other peoples reviews, you will see that I am not the only person who has issues with this company.
I am now going to get in touch with my credit card company to refund my money.

Very efficient in delivering order. Quick response even though it's the xmas period. Received within 4 days. Good choice of cheese.

This box of cheese and chutney was perfect gift for two special people.
They are delighted with the different flavors...very tasty.

No order received. I made an order on the 6th December and have received nothing. I have tried to contact the company via email, phone and left voicemails and have not had a single response. We are now days before Christmas so no hope of receiving our order or a refund in time for Christmas. Based of this I would not recommend.

I ordered 2 different cheese hampers but only 1 has been delivered. I have emailed the company twice but just got a automated email back saying they would be in touch soon, but still nothing.

Placed an order on 29th November. Requested a custom hamper with personal message. Gave it a fortnight due to Black Friday delays, after which I emailed customer service to ask how long delivery should be as I was concerned. The reply stated 3 to 5 working days so I then asked for my missing order to be investigated. I had to then send another message on Facebook and leave an answerphone message neither of which was responded to. Eventually I emailed again as I was concerned the company was not legitimate. I was told Royal Mail had not collected my order from the depot and that a replacement would be despatched. Whilst I did receive my order another 3 days later, the personal message was missing. Not once did I ever receive an email saying my order had been despatched. The quality of goods is lovely but this company seriously needs to sort out its communications ! Having personally worked for a start-up business in customer service and despatch, I know when communications are good and this was sadly very lacking.

Premium quality but reasonably priced cheese & wine gifts that were delivered on the specific days I requested and were easy to track. They were very well-received Christmas gifts!

Sadly this will be my last order after being a customer for several years. I’ve had issues with vouchers not being accepted at checkout so have lost them, irritating but not a game changer. What is however is opening my Christmas order for guests arriving in a few hours to find one truckle mouldy and another from the same batch tasting unpleasant. Haven’t had the courage to open the third yet. I now have the choice of battling supermarket crowds or Amazon next day delivery, just what I need! I have emailed customer services, maybe I’ll get a reply but I doubt they’ll be able to make me place another order. Such a shame

Love the option to personalise the options in the hamper. Didn't receive a confirmation email for the order (not in spam either) so spent a few weeks worrying the order wouldnt arrive ... but thankfully it has 🥰🥰
