I had an extremely disappointing experience with CBD Movers and strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice before booking.
They attract customers by quoting a very low price, but the final bill is completely different!
I was initially quoted approximately $300 for my move. However, when the two removalists arrived, they worked at an incredibly slow pace, dragging out the job for 7 hours. What should have been a straightforward moving job turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily expensive experience.
To my absolute shock, I was charged $900 – THREE TIMES the original quoted price!
In my experience, this felt like a classic bait-and-switch situation: attract customers with a cheap quote, prolong the work, and then demand a much higher payment.
I found this service highly unprofessional, misleading and extremely poor value for money. I feel completely ripped off and would never use this company again.
MY STRONG WARNING TO EVERYONE: DO NOT BE FOOLED BY CBD MOVERS' CHEAP QUOTES!
Make sure you obtain a written, fixed-price quotation before booking. Otherwise, you may end up paying several times what you expected.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CBD MOVERS TO ANYONE. A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!

Poor experience
Poor experience, the removalist turned up went up my 48 stairs which advised on booking and advised $30 per fligt, then after a minute went back, I waited 10 minutes then got a call. I also have a small dog so apparently not clean for the 2 people picking up my items. After 10 minutes, and my 85 year old father waiting for the move I get a call. Why did the driver just tell me, poor customer experience, I think he saw 48 stairs and said no. I am now going with a local with a local contact.

Unreliable and unprofessional movers
The movers were extremely unreliable and unprofessional. They arrived 3.5 hours late despite multiple follow‑ups and only attempted the job at the delivery location after demanding additional payment. They sent two people with no proper equipment, showed a lethargic attitude, and demonstrated no care for the work.
Customer service was equally disappointing — calls were never returned, leaving us waiting endlessly with no accountability. We ultimately had to handle the matter ourselves and still paid around $400 just for a fridge and washer.
I do not recommend this company.

Two Indian guy just came here do do the job but after seeing the things he said they will take 4hours to do that job. I said is only few items and very near like 1-2minutes drive but they were talking in their language and saying about taking extra money in cash that is not included in the system

The admin guys monitored my booking pre and most move wit regular contact.
The move team were professional and completed the move house to storage facility in 3 hours.
The hourly rate was the best I found and worth the spend
