Wonderful experiences from meeting locals to winding our way through the magnificent alpine regions of Europe. Great guide who made sure each day was epic. Four stars because a couple of hotels let the experience down. Each was in a convenient situation. If there was four and a half that would be the choice.

We enjoyed an Alpine Discovery Tour and found it absolutely excellent in every way. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to tour the European Alps. Tour Director and Bus driver were excellent, scenery was magnificent and our fellow travellers really were the icing on the cake on this tour. There were 17 like minded people from many parts of Australia and we enjoyed their company on this fantastic tour.

The itinerary of this tour was spot on, every place visited was well worth it. Ales (our tour guide) did an outstanding job, as did bus driver Denis. After a bit of rain in Munich which really didn't disrupt things that much, 15 days of sunny weather enabled this tour to reach its full potential. A helicopter ride around the Matterhorn peak was the highlight. Our accommodation was good (able to manage the shower). The venue at Bonigen in Switzerland had variable accommodation rooms but its location on the lake is much better than a city/urban landscape. Our tour group were very good--I felt cpmfortable with them. There is one issue I need to raise--there was no-one at Munich airport terminal to pick me up (I spent 125 euros on a cab to the city--the cab driver did a good job) and the van to pick our group up from our Zurich accommodation to go to the airport at 8am had not arrived by 8.15am. A black van which we took to be our pick up took us to the Singapore airlines terminal. I paid 99 Swiss francs for this trip. I raised the first happening with Ales who said he would report it. I am very happy that my travel organiser Lucky (Adelaide) booked my flights with Singapore Airlines rather than with Qatar. The Iranian conflict did not adversely affect myself on the return filght while the Tasmanians on their Qatar trip had huge issues with connecting flight and luggage (the latter arrived days later).

I do want to apologise for the confusion around your transfers. While we understand things worked out in the end, we're sorry this occurred while you were on tour with us. In these situations, we always recommend contacting our local representative (details are included in your travel documents), as they’re best placed to assist in real time.

We’d be happy to reimburse you for the cost of the van transfer to the Singapore Airlines terminal in Zurich (CHF 99), and would appreciate it if you could send your bank details to us at customercare@bunniktours.com.au so we can arrange this for you.

This is a great itinerary if you prefer small communities and the outdoors over cities. Spectacular scenery and well organised coordinated activities that enable you to get the best out of your time. A lot of special little extras.
