No refund for bird poo staining Zinsser exterior all coat
I purchased 2.5 l Zinsser Exterior All Coat Satin and used it on my concrete window sills. The paint was stained by white bird poo. I asked for a refund as I had never had this problem before. Zinsser replied that I should EXPECT the paint surface to be damaged as it is acidic. Brewers Morecambe refused to refund my money as the manufacturer says it is a decorative coating only not made to withstand chemicals. So even though bird poo is part of the natural environment, the paint manufacturer and retailer offer no protection from it…what a load of!

Colour matched paint was whack
Colour matched paint was totally different colour, at least 2 shades lighter. Sales assistant even agreed with me but still refused to refund. He said they don’t offer an exact match. You what??? What does “colour match” actually mean in plain english?? I had to bin the paint and am now £55 poorer as a result. Crap paint, crap service.

Unfortunately, when matching a colour from one brand into another brand’s paint, we can’t guarantee an exact match. I’ve spoken with the store, and they’ve advised they’d be happy to manually adjust the colour to better meet your expectations.
