Hi Debra, we are somewhat surprised to see such a negative review. As with all review platforms, requests are sent out automatically to all customers who place an order. As you placed an order, you were placed on this list. Unfortunately when picking your order, we found that we had insufficient stock to fulfil the order, hence we had no choice but to cancel it and refund you immediately. You were sent an email to explain this. I am sorry you feel that this warrants a 1-star review.

Items not quality checked before sending to customer.
I ordered two items which were sent out unchecked. Both items were faulty - one even had been cut through with scissors so I alerted Biscuit and sent the items back. I paid for postage but they will not reimburse me for this. The items should never have been sent but I am the one who had to deal with the cost and hassle of the return.

Thank you for getting in touch again to provide feedback. Naturally we are disappointed to receive a 1 star review from you, particularly as we have been in frequent communication regarding this.
For the avoidance of doubt, we will again state that all of our items are checked before going out to customers, including your items which were placed back into their original packaging before being tissue wrapped and sent to you. We do not know how these arrived damaged, however we do accept that whilst every endeavour is made to check items, no one is perfect and some things can be missed. For this, we have apologised numerous times over email.
Unfortunately, as stated quite clearly online as well as on the paperwork you received within your order, we ask that all customers are in touch with us via email or telephone Mon-Friday if they feel they have received something faulty. This, as explained, is so that we can understand the issue and provide you with a free returns label to send the goods back. We go on to state that we are unable to reimburse postage costs incurred to customers that have not followed this advice.
Our policy has not changed on this and given the level of returns raised against your account, apologise if anything about this remains unclear. We have made significant efforts to outline this as clearly as possible to customers so as not to incur these costs. This includes clearly breaking it down on the packing slip as well as on our returns page. We also include our contact information and operating hours across our website and paperwork for the avoidance of doubt.

Great experience
I tried on locally and then managed to get a really good sale price with Biscuit Clothing. Arrived a few days after ordering, good packaging, tried on straight away as only 7 days to return sale items. Looks amazing, great quality and the store has a brilliant range, wish the store was local to me I’d be broke!
