The lecturers were very passionate and knowledgeable. Everyone gets to be involved and have a go.
The afternoon games were fun. (Thanks Mary) Kinda wished that they were a bit longer.

All the instructors have been super supportive, which was really great especially since I was a long way from home for the week for my DofE residential. I learnt a lot and they explained new and difficult concepts really effectively as well as providing lots of guidance with the practical elements. I had a great week and really recommend this for your DofE residential or just for some experience in general.

Variety of activities and how useful it is for my CV

All lecturers are very involved and very willing to assist or repeat any instructions.

Really great variety of activities, lots of amazing practice into getting to know the clinical side of medicine and research side. The staff were supportive and friendly, and I enjoyed the afternoon activities.

Amazing lab learning experience

It was really nice, all the staff were very welcoming and open to any questions. The sessions were very interesting, and I learnt lots of new practical techniques and information. The extra evening activities for DofE students were also really fun, making it easier to meet the other students

I attended the Biomed course this summer and really enjoyed meeting new people and being taught by lecturers who have a true and evident passion for their subjects. The staff were lovely and made the experience lighthearted and fun!

They hosted an incredible 5-day laboratory course. All the staff and lecturers were friendly, and more than happy to help me during the week. We had a perfect balance of practical activities and theory sessions. 10/10 experience. Thank you.

The lab skills course was amazing. I got the opportunity to live in Liverpool for 5 days completely independently, make strong friendships, build initiative and my lab skills themselves.

This is the second time I have attended course organized by Biograd and it was just as great as last year. Special thanks to our Emergency medicine lector Jamie and the whole Biograd team!

The lectures are completely informative in a sense of simplicity and fun. The practical lessons are also quite interesting, and easy to take them in. Besides, the extracurricular activities are fabulous and extremely interactive. The best thing happened to me is the fact that lecturers and staff were super friendly and I felt a sense of safety and comfort at all times. Personally, I’d say I had such a wonderful week there.

I gained great lab skills whilst on the biomedical course we did many experiments such as ELISA tests and blood typing and the course content was interesting and engaging.

I enjoyed learning new lab skills and being in a proper lab. Also, I enjoyed learning about new topics outside of what I normally would in sixth form.
