I travelled with your company for the Wembley stadium show on the 27th June for harry styles.
My pick up place was Derby bus station at 12.30, I have been using your coach company for the last few weeks to travel to the same place for the same show and have previously had no issues and the journey had taken 2 hours and 15 minutes (give or take with traffic).
Yesterday, the journey took 4 and a half hours.
We did not arrive at pink car park until 4.55pm, 5 minutes before the stadium doors open.
I had purchased an early entry vip package for the show which meant my entry was 4.15, these packages cost a lot of money and I picked your travel company for this show because I have as stated above have had no issues previously and have been getting to the stadium at 3pm.
This was not a delay due to traffic, but a delay due to frequent stops including a driver change over 15 minutes into my journey which we were told would only take 10 minutes, we were sat in the Trowell northbound services for over 40 minutes.
The driver explained he had only been employed by your company since Monday, he had to call someone to ask how to turn the park handbrake off so we could start our journey.
We then stopped again, an hour into our journey at another services (when nobody on the coach had asked for a stop or wanted a stop) and we again, sat there for a further 30 minutes.
The heating on the coach was stuck on and could not be switched off, the heaters by our feet were getting dangerously hot and we had asked since the first pick up in Derby for them to be switched off, the driver once again called someone and was told they can’t be switched off and this was an issue that the company was aware of since the day before when another driver used to coach.
It was 32 degrees outside and potentially more inside. This is seriously dangerous especially in a heatwave when there are no windows that can be opened and the AC was not turning on either.
We arrived at Wembley stadium and I had missed my entry due to all the above delays, a journey that usually takes just over 3 hours should not have exceed 4 hours. There were people on the coach from the first stop at 9.30am who were told we would reach Wembley stadium around 2.50/3pm.
On the way home, the driver had to once again pull over an hour into the journey explaining he was struggling to keep his eyes open for the rest of the journey, adding further delay on the way back and also panic to the travellers on board as this is not what you want to hear from your driver when you want to get home safely.
I would like a full refund for my journey or compensation on the perks I missed with my concert ticket due to your company. (face value of my ticket was £335!)
I understand delays are normal, especially on event days but this once again was not a traffic issue but a driver and coach issue.
I will attach photos below of time stamps and the coach I was travelling on including the number plate.
I hope this can be resolved quickly.

Absolutely fabulous to deal with the Big Green Coach Company! They were so very helpful and quick to reply to my emails..nothing was any trouble for them. I mistakenly booked wrong pick up location for Wythenshawe park to see the Cure but when i realised and got in touch with customer service they soon calmed me down and sorted it all out for me with easy to understand instructions..thankyou so much to your friendly polite and kind service! Looking forward to August! Kind regards to all the team! 😊

I’m only giving one star because I can’t give none.
Harry Styles - 3rd July.
Coach advertised as 11:30 pick up. Two coaches pulled up almost full to split the 20 people waiting at the Stoke stop onto the coach. Drivers never checked tickets, names etc… They didn’t know who they were collecting. Set off 15 minutes late and had almost an hour on the services for absolutely no reason. Everyone was back on the coach after 20 minutes!
Arrived at Wembley at 4:30pm. Advertised to arrive between 3-3:30pm. We missed the build up on Wembley way and had no time to queue up for merchandise or join in the activities outside! Literally grabbed something to eat and straight into the stadium.
Got to the coach at 10:45. Pulled out of the carpark on time and it literally broke down outside! Had to wait until 1:45am for another coach to collect us. No communication from the driver. He never spoke! Sat in darkness on the coach and then asked to get off to sit on the roadside absolutely freezing! No one had coats or blankets because no one could leave anything on the coach!!!
Other coach arrives to be told it was only going to Birmingham! The drops were meant to be Stafford, Stoke, Manchester and Liverpool!
My two daughters were alone on this coach, one only 13 and autistic and stressed to the max!
Arrived in Birmingham at 4:30am to be told it was another wait for another coach. Another coach arrived and a minibus pulled up behind. Taxi driver of the minibus asked the people from Stafford to get on his bus. The people for Manchester and Liverpool to get on the replacement coach. No mention of the Stoke drop!
My daughter had to argue with the driver for them to take them both home!!
Minibus driver reluctantly agreed and took them home. Arrived home at 6:30am!!!
Two other girls got on the coach who had screen shot a ticket online and hitched a ride home for free!
The whole service was absolutely appalling from start to finish. I’ve sent two emails, messaged every social media platform and we are a week on and still haven’t heard anything!
No apology, no communication, no explanation. Nothing.
Disgusting service and I will never use your service again. My girls were so upset and exhausted as they had no sleep all night! The Liverpool passengers got home at 9am!! How is this acceptable. We spent a fortune to your company to get to and from Wembley safely. This categorically did not happen. Sort it out BGC!!! Reply to your customers and compensate them!!!! Admit this is appalling service!!

Asked for my booking to be amended and transferred to my son and received an immediate reply from Layla to confirm all done and new booking sent by email to him . Very prompt service .
AVOID… driver fell asleep at the wheel!
Went to see Harry Styles on the 27th June at Wembley & the driver was falling asleep at the wheel. Got in touch with customer services and they are yet to reply to me. I would have thought with the seriousness of this that they would respond quickly but apparently not. I had booked for BTS using this service but after what has happened with Harry Styles I am now trying to chase a refund for this as BGC is not safe to use.

They kept the coach clean, drove fantastically and were honestly the friendliest coach drivers I've had the pleasure of experiencing. I'd happily use big green coaches again if I got those two! Coach was nice, clean and comfy and kept at a good temperature. Very prompt too. So much better than expected.

I am extremely impressed with the communication I received from Layla, I emailed in requesting a change I accidentally booked wrong, within 2 hours I received an email from Layla saying she has sorted this and sent me a new confirmation, I couldn’t highly recommend enough. Thank you so much for your help and will be using big green coach’s in the future as well.

Really helpful people im not used. To tickets and I bought a admission and travel to eddfest ironmaiden knebworth and the coach travel was very reasonable thank you BGC highly appreciated and recommend them.
Shocking driver
Coming back from London on the 7th from the bts concert our diver was a joke. Yes there was a lot of delays at first but then the driver decided to, off his own back cut through sheffield when not needed. He laughed and joke on a call to someone on a phone about it. Then pulled up at a second rest stop. When confronted by a passenger asking why he took us through sheffield he lied and said there was a road closure she asked him what time will we be in Leeds for and did not answer until she and others asked he said have his break... again so around half 5. It was quarter to 4. She asked why it would be so late he rudely snapped at her and said "if she didn't like it then she should of driven herself " then he would leave for his break just repeating about his break that he had already had. Other passengers had to get him to go for break. He took his sweet time so much so that the lady he shouted at got an uber that was 6 minutes away and left before we did. He was on his phone talking to people all the time and wasn't paying attention. He even asked a customer from Chesterfield if this was the right way. You want to be rid of this driver. It's a shame because on the way there (different driver) it was fine.

This year will be my 3rd year using BGC for Bloodstock festival. The coach has always turned up on time and got me to my destination in relative comfort, the drivers have always been friendly and accommodating which has been especially helpful as I travel solo to meet friends at the event so every bit of extra help sorting my gear out is appreciated.
This year I’ve had to reschedule my travel and the customer service responded within an hour or so and managed to fix my issue immediately with little fuss.

Booked BGC to go see Wolf Alice at Finsbury Park, July 2026.
Departure time was 0720. By 0820 still no coach and no contact from BCG. Finally got through to their phone line and they organised some taxis to get us up there (to be fair this actually got us there quicker than the coach would have as no additional stops)
For the return journey, there was actually a coach waiting (surprise) which we erected told would go to Guildford and Portsmouth before Southampton.
For some reason the driver went right past Guildford without stopping to drop people off. When it was pointed out he got a bit arsy about it before realising he was wrong and detouring back on a long loop that took at least 30 minutes.
In addition to this for some reason the toilet on the coach was locked so by the time we got to Southampton there were a lot of uncomfortable passengers.
Would I use BGC again?? Not sure - it would seriously have to be the best option for getting to a gig to do so (i.e exorbitant train fare, no car parking available at the venue) for me to consider it
