They advertise 120 night no risk sleep trial. That’s a complete lie. I called them the day after I received the mattress and told them it was too soft and I wanted to return it. I had to wait 14 days before they would schedule someone to come pick it up. I had an appointment on Friday, March 20th and they never showed up. They texted me at 10 that night and apologized and asked to come get it the next day, Saturday the 21st. I agreed and they stood me up a second time. I’ve called them and can’t get a person on the phone; I have to leave a message and I’ve received no call back. I’ve emailed them multiple times and no response since they stood me up a second time.

**Update after the response from Big Fig. That is a lie. I was NEVER contacted the morning of the pickup that they were not coming. My pick up time was between 8-12 and I was texted at 10:48. That was 1 hour before the window was up. I was also stood up AGAIN the next day with no communication at all. I have texts and emails to prove everything I have said is true. This company lies.

Nothing you say will excuse the complete disregard you had for a return customer. Do better.

The mattress started out great. I didn’t have any back problems for a while; a couple of years. But now the mattress sags in the middle or it slopes down to the edge of the bed so you feel like you’re almost going to fall off. Rotating didn’t help. And even parts of the frame have loosened or have come completely apart.

Setting up your website in a way that I can not back out of it to get to my search results is the fastest way to lose any chance of me purchasing from you. Do better

Most uncomfortable mattress I have ever had. It is so hard and flat. I hurt every day from it. I wrote the company and they just told me to purchase a 4 inch topper. Really! Spend more money to improve your already expensive mattress? I was floored when the told me that. I have tried everything to get this mattress to be better. Be cautious if you every bit this as it is flat and hard. So much for the “Sleep on it for a year guarantee”

We purchased a king Big Fig mattress, box spring, and frame in 2018. Already the integrity of the foam is failing and makes it feel like we're sinking into a hole. On both sides of the bed the sagging is so drastic we're either sliding into it or leaning inclined along it. To say it's uncomfortable is an understatement.

It's only been a little over 4 years and we are average size sleepers who rotate the matress regularly, so we were shocked at the speed at which the firmness and comfort deteriorated. With most mattresses lasting 7-10 years, the price of this mattress, and the claims of durability and the mattress' materials preventing sagging, we expected more from Big Fig.

We presented these concerns to Big Fig but the warranty only covers if the mattress indents without weight past 1 inch. Our indent was just shy of 1 inch and the warranty doesn't take into account what is happening when you are actually sleeping on the mattress.

Be warned. Keep this in mind if you're considering purchasing this mattress. We're regretting our purchase.

This is an American made mattress for people with a BIGger FIGure. Hence, Big Fig mattress. I am a 6’3” 280 pound male that was having severe lower back pain. So I decided to try them because almost every mattress I tried still caused a sway in my back. The setup up was fairly simple. It does arrive in a box. Unless you’re a strong person you WILL need two people to lift it. It still took me a few days to adjust to a FIRM mattress. I felt like it was pushing against my ribs on the first night. But after about 3 nights it felt perfect. It’s supports me 100%. There simply is no better mattress for heavier people. It is sturdy. It doesn’t look cheap. It’s a very upscale looking mattress. The design and function are easily 5 stars. If I bought a mattress of this quality in a store it would easily have been twice as much. If you’re a heavier person then don’t hesitate to get this mattress. It’s has a 120-day trial period anyway. You’ve got nothing to lose. I will say that if you put it on a bed frame that has drawers under it, when you add the box frame and the mattress, it’s going to be very TALL. You may need a step stool. Also, my partner is 5’9” 165 and he loves the bed as well. But this is a firm mattress. The pain in my back is 90% gone now. I don’t wake up in the middle of the night anymore either. I haven’t slept through the night in years. It’s everything I could want in a mattress. The goal is a better sleep. That was accomplished with a better mattress. I thought I wanted that softer comfort. I had no clue how much pain that was causing me. It’s firm from now on. I hope this helps in your decision. It also has a 20 year guarantee. So there’s that.
