A Massive Con!
We had exactly the same experience. I clicked the link to see what was being offered but did not sign up or ever sign in. They are now aggressively chasing payment of £360. Delete any e-mails from them and if you have clicked on any link in the e-mail ensure you chase up with an e-mail saying you have no interest in a subscription. You can ping this back to them when they start sending invoices.

Dear Margaret,
This is simply not possible. Your school filled in a 3 page registration form which resulted in 2 further emails being sent to you. The first confirmed your membership and the cost and cancellation requirements and the 2nd was a reminder email informing you of the paid subscription being due to start in 2 weeks if not cancelled. If you think this is incorrect please contact us immediately and we will fully investigate.

Same happened with me. To look at the website I signed up (like you can do with many advertising sites for free) to look further- it looked bad.
Turned out I'd signed up fully and was having my subscription automatically renewed at a cost to the school. The onus on us? I suspect the business model takes into account the busy lives of school leaders whose 'onus' should be on the education and welfare of our children not stopping businesses demanding £360 from us. Never used, tricked into signing up and threatening letters.
Scamming money from schools; shame on you.

This is simply not true. You can't just look at our website at the click of a button due to safeguarding reasons. To register you have to fill in a 3 page registration form in order that we can confirm that the person joining is a teacher in a UK school. We offer a 2 month free trial to allow schools to have a look at our product at no cost to them. In return however, we do put the onus on schools to cancel before the end of the trial if they don't want to pay. We do NOT hide this, it is confirmed on 4 separate occasions in writing prior to any cost being incurred.

Do not register with this site it's a con. Once you have 'joined' you will receive an invoice. They say they email to remind you to cancel the subscription , but nowhere in the 'How it Works' page says that there is a cost or subscription. My colleague registered, we have never used the service and now they are refusing to credit it. If they were a legitimate service they wouldn't need to act in an underhand way. Their fees would be clear and it would state what you are committing to when you 'JOIN NOW'. AVOID.

Dear EC,
I'm sorry you feel this way. But i would like to correct you, our fees are very clear, but on on our join page, not our How it works page. I can't comment on your account individually as i don't know which school you are from. However, in order to join you have to fill out a 3 page registration form and then immediately receive a membership confirmation email which confirms the cost and when it is due. It is also strange that your colleague registered and then never used, why did they register for membership?
