Rubbish taken our money 2 weeks ago and still not delivered!

Thank you so much to Ben and Dan after a frustrating time trying to have our fridge repaired under the extended warranty you were both very helpful in chasing up the repairs and ultimately arranging for the delivery of a new fridge at a competitive price. Excellent customer service and the main reason we always shop with Beacon Electrical for white goods and electrical items. Thanks again

An electrical shop who offer competitive prices on their goods. Supporting local companies was important to me & the service they provided was something that would mean I’d certainly use them for future purchases.

Published my personal data online without my permission. After raising my initial complaint with Beacon Electrical on 16.9.20 It took several days for them to reply advising me to source an independent engineer with suitable qualifications and pay for them to confirm that the appliance was faulty from date of purchase, they will then consider this evidence. They were not able to suggest who to employ to undertake this or what qualifications they required.
I posted a bad review on trust pilot on 19.10.20 and received a phonecall the next day asking me to remove this review. I received a reply from Beacon Electrical addressed by my name- without my knowledge or permission. This was not removed until 24 hours after posting despite me bringing this to their attention immediately. The facts remain, I brought my complaint about my appliance to the attention of Beacon Electrical on 16.9.20, my fridge freezer worked from new purchased from them for a total of 22 months. I have had to take time off work for 5 engineer's visits and the appliance cannot be repaired. I still do not have a working fridge freezer nearly 2 months later and have not had a satisfactory resolution from Hotpoint or Beacon Electrical . I am merely stating facts. Very poor experience. I purchased a brand new appliance that worked for a total of 22 months and no satisfactory resolution has been made. Very disappointing.

We bought a new washing machine after searching online and speaking to our nearest branch. I collected from their main outlet on the same day as the machine that I wanted was in their warehouse. Each person I dealt with was helpful. The price was also very competitive. I would therefore recommend supporting this local business.

We had new cooker and fridge freezer delivered yesterday. Delivery men very good also the man fitted are new gas cooker was excellent.

what excellent service from beacon electrical at beacon park .was helped by dan who was very informitive and knowlageable on products . no rushing into buying and gave us a great deal .from start to finish excellent service .delivery guys were great to .excellent team work .will be going back to get another product at a later date .thankyou

DREADFUL EXPERIENCE NO STAR. I bought a fridge freezer from Totnes store which broke down after only 22 months. Beacon very unhelpful and hiding behind 1 year guaranteed expired. They insisted that I prove that the appliance was faulty. Hotpoint engineer found compressor had failed, new one could not be fitted for another 3 weeks. I had already been without a fridge for a week by then. Beacon said I had to prove the compressor was faulty when I bought the appliance - obviously impossible to do. They could not have cared less, despite the fact that I had bought an integrated fridge freezer for a previous house, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a Panasonic tv, the new fridge freezer and a Roberts Radio. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Great service from Beacon Electrical. During Lockdown ordering and all updates was done by telephone. Delivery of our goods was as promised and done in an efficient, helpful and pleasant manner.

Brilliant service, spoke to the guys at Beacon Electrical, had exactly what I needed in stock at a great price.
Payed via an email link that was safe and secure, and my new cooker was delivered to me the following day.
Absolutely faultless even during the current difficult COVID-19 situation.

Great product which was ordered for us and delivered to our door. Great service considering lockdown. Product is exactly what we wanted. It is a very simple product to use with a manual dial for time plus pre set programmes that you can use. Good advice from Beacon before purchase. We wanted to buy local and Beacon made it possible.
