Don't trust this company to action your refund or respond to any emails or phone calls
I returned 2 dresses worth over £100 more than 2 weeks ago. Despite it stating on my account that these have been 'refunded' its been more than 2 weeks and no refund has been recieved.
Not only that I have tried to email and call this company, with no avail.
Reading through previous reviews, it seems this is how this company makes a profit. By stating they accept returns for refunds, but when customers send items back, they keep both the product and the money.
Absolutely disgraceful behavior. I'm sure I will get a generic response from the company, a seemingly 'helpful' one with them advising me to get in touch. If only I could attach the screenshots of the emails I have sent and the calls I have made to this company.
The items on this site seem nice, but honestly you can buy them all elsewhere. Don't risk it for this scam company.
Since posting this review and leaving comments on Beach Cafe's social media, someone miraculously got back in contact with me. Seemingly to tell me my refund had been processed 12th August, despite it showing on my account that it had been 'refunded' before that date...
Their returns policy states a refund is actioned within 10 days. I received an email to say they had the items July 31st. Since the refund was supposedly actioned August 12th, a Saturday, this makes it over the 10 working days policy stated.
All I know is that this is a violation of Trading Standards and my right to cancel my order as a consumer. As well as not fulfilling what they have stated on thier website. I have fulfilled my end of thr contract and followed all your requirements for the refund, yet I am still having to chase this as of August 16th.

Thank you for your reviewing Beach Café, we would like to apologies for the lack of communication you received regarding your refund. Please note that a member of staff reached out yesterday to confirm that your refund was in fact processed on 12th August within our 10 working day policy however depending on your form of payment this can occasionally take between 3-5 days to show back in your account.
We believe our customer care is always personal and for this reason do not send out generic auto emails, We always do our best to get back to customers within 48h and keep them as informed as possible, and are very sorry that we ran over this a little during our busy period, I believe management have provided a gesture of goodwill via email as a way of apology and hope that should you choose to shop with us again we hope you have a more positive shopping experience.

Achtung!! Die Retour klappt nicht wie angekündigt! Ich habe auf meine zahlreichen E-Mails keine Antwort bekommen und erst als ich das ganze über PayPal gemeldet habe, bekam ich eine Reaktion. Die Retour sollte mir erstattet werden, so wurde es mir per E-Mail zugesichert. Darauf warte ich bis heute. Auch die Mehrwertsteuer wurde nicht erstattet. Ich werde dort nicht wieder bestellen!
