I joined Avenues dating in January 2021, and was linked with my finance in July, thanks to my consultant Charlotte, who was very supportive and kind. before meeting my finance, I had several recommendations.
I have had a lovely experience with Avenues Dating, and my life is happy and complete with the love of my life, thanks to Avenue dating.

Absolute con. I met two gentlemen, one of whom was disappointed I would not sleep with him on the first date, the other was scruffy, unshaven and did not even have a passport even though I was looking for a travelling companion. Complained and was offered a further membership. All the matches then given to me refused to meet. They sweet talk you, take your money (£2000 in my case) and sliver out of any obligation. I have never felt so humiliated as to being taken in by confidence trixters.

Having signed up for the most expensive membership and with great expectations it turned out to be a big disappointment. A hard sell to get you to sign up with promises they couldn't deliver. Out of date profiles and photos with clients who were no longer members! They have more women then men on their books . A big investment and waste of money for only two dates within the year!

Very very poor service extremely rude staff though you wouldn't believe it when you make your intitial enquiry and they want your payment. Things change afterwards please avoid this agency complete waste of time. You do not get the service you paid for. I made enquiries about the profiles they sent all of which only vaguely matched my requirements, only to be told they can't make anyone say yes to meet up!

Don’t waste your money. Not even sure all the profiles are real as they seem to have problems reaching people you say you want to meet or they always turn down exchanging details. Their T&Cs basically say they can send you any profiles they like to fulfil their obligation to provide 9 even if they are way off what you asked for in terms of age and location - apparently they know better than you who you’ll be attracted to. Even highest level of membership doesn’t guarantee they will manage to set up a single exchange of details. I had one terrible matchmaker and one who was quite nice but ultimately they can’t pair you up when they clearly don’t have enough people on their books actually wanting to meet up.

Pretty rubbish.
They offer you 9 recommendations - which includes those you aren't at all interested in and some who aren't interested in you (who may, or may not, exist).
Don't bother.

I would like to give a feedback on the fantastic service that I have received from Avenues Dating. I do not agree with the previous reviews written by Beverley. My Matchmaker Kim Shaw has matched me with many potential matches. Kim and her colleagues have alway's been very helpful and acted in a professional
manner and have gone the extra mile to assist me. I would highly recommend Avenues Dating.

This so called dating agency is a massive rip off and should be avoided at all costs. All they say they have to provide is recommendations to fulfil their contact. That basically means that they can send you a profile of someone who you have no matching interests with and that is a recommendation. If you pay the annual fee for the lowest package you go to the bottom of the food chain. It is quite amazing just how many people they can't reach. You would be better to go on match.com or another site that you can have control over. Save your money
