Aus IN-Direct. I ordered a torch, paid express postage. After a few days and no tracking notifications, I contacted them via email and they said the item would be despatched in a couple of days. Inquired again and reply was they were still awaiting to receive their order. They offered to return my money, but that hasn't happened either, despite me following up via email. A few days later and I am not receiving replies to my emails. Aus Electronics Direct are SUPER IN-direct and unreliable.

Absolutely shit. 1 pack of screws I ordered online. They're located 40 mins from where I live. It's now been 8 days and they haven't even shipped the damn order.
In this time I have ordered and received orders from overseas. This place is of no way aligned with the term "business".

I purchased a VRX 1/8 Cobra RC Truggy from these guys.
It was definitely a good price from them.
First time using it and after approximately 7mins run time of the expected 15-20 minute run to the rear differential broke rendering it useless.
I contacted them to see if they would honour their Warranty and they ghosted me.
Very untrustworthy business that won't help you out even when they have obviously sold faulty products.
Don't use them! Your better off going to a reputable business.

I placed an order for a couple of items on Friday morning and paid for express postage. Shortly after placing the order, I called to ask if same-day dispatch was possible. I was told over the phone that this was definitely achievable and that I would be contacted with an update. I never received that follow-up.

By Tuesday, which was two full business days later, I still hadn't received any confirmation that my order had been dispatched. I called again and was told that my items would be sent out and picked up by Australia Post that evening. A tracking number was generated that night, but no pick-up scan occurred.

It was not until Wednesday evening that the package was actually scanned as picked up by Australia Post. This suggests that the order was not handed over to them until then, which was three business days after my original purchase. The company’s website states that orders are dispatched within one to two business days.

I work in eCommerce myself, so I understand that delays can happen. However, generating a shipping label and claiming the item has been dispatched when it has not left the premises is misleading. It shifts responsibility onto the courier, rather than acknowledging a delay in dispatch. This feels like an intentional way to avoid accountability.

As someone who paid extra for express shipping, I expected my order to be prioritised. The handling of my order did not match what was communicated by their website (max 2 business days dispatch) or implied.

In the end, I paid for express shipping but waited three full business days before my order was even sent out. If I had known this would happen, I would not have paid extra, since the express option made no difference in the timeframe.

Communication with the customers is key with an online business like this, and I feel like the communication with my order was lacking and purposefully misleading. I hope that the company can take this review on board constructively and can improve their communication with the customers if there's going to be unforeseen delays in dispatching items, especially for those who have paid the extra price for express.

The actual items I purchased were good quality and the pricing was more than reasonable though, so props to them in this department. It is for this reason why I will give 2 out of 5 stars.

Aus Electronics Direct certainly left a lot to be desired with this order. After placing an order for an adaptor on April 16th, the lack of communication and delayed dispatch were quite frustrating. Having to chase up the order 14 days later only to have the phone ring out initially added to the poor experience. The conflicting information received – first told it was delivered, then that it hadn't even been sent until today – was concerning. While an email regarding the delayed dispatch was promised, it wasn't received until a second request. When it was received it said "Latest update
Parcel has been scheduled for pickup on Wednesday, 30 Apr 2025."
So it has not been picked up even after all that.

For an item supposedly in stock, a two-week wait for shipment is simply unacceptable. Hopefully, the adaptor arrives promptly now, but the overall service has been disappointing.

I was sold an adaptor for travelling to India which was the wrong adapter Fortunately my friend had the correct adapter bought elsewhere. When I provided feedback i was told that I should have contacted the hotels I was stating at the find out what adapter was required. Beware of this company.

I'm currently waiting on a reply to my request for a refund of a faulty product. I have followed up multiple times now. Each time met with an excuse. They have not returned a working product, or refunded as I have asked.

Ordered 4 lion 18650 batteries. Received 2, one of which was defective.

Received 2 batteries without hassle, within 2 weeks of notification. Bought new charger and all batteries worked ok. 10/11/23 Upgrade 3 stars.

Very poor service. States 1-2 days dispatch on website however did not occur. Spoke to Customer Service via chat and on 2 occasions was promised it would be the next day which it wasn't. Don't be misled by the reviews here. Checkout product review for a clearer indication of this company.

Received delivery very fast, I was concerned all was not with order but contacted customer service and was advised it's all packed together. My granddaughter will be very excited when she get her first quality remote control toy :)

Really struggled to find a 6s Lipo battery with hardcase which is what my Python 1:8 requires & Aus Elect Direct Delivered. Awesome Battery & reaching speeds up to 140kph.
