Eric helped us plan our trip to Portugal. He really listened and got a good feel for what our family likes to do on vacation. Every excursion he booked us on was exceptional. The trip went seamlessly. I’ve used other agencies in the past and not had such a good result. I want to thank Eric and Audley travel for putting together a trip my family will remember for a lifetime!

Working with Thora, our travel advisor, was excellent from start to finish. Her recommendations and plans were thoughtful and showed real travel experience. I personally like a trip with a mix of organized plans and some open time to immerse and 'get lost', and Thora got that. Everything was very organized and communicated clearly. In country, everything went smoothly, and my son and I had an AMAZING time we won't forget. Thanks, Thora!

We just finished a ten day trip to Cornwall which was arranged by Mareesa at Audley. They set up the flights, hotels (Padstow, Fowey, St. Ives) and also a few major events (stones walk with a local guide, dinner at Rick Stein’s in Padstow, etc.) while leaving us plenty of times for hikes, botanic gardens, and the Tate in St. Ives. This all worked out great. The driving distances were short and we had never been to Cornwall. We had some rainy days but also 3-4 beautiful days. It was a great trip and Mareesa truly understood what we were interested in and made all the right connections for us.

My most recent trip to Ireland, planned with Audley was in May 2026. Lilly C. was my advisor.

Working with Lily took all of the work and stress out of planning. Our interests were built into the itinerary and every moment that we spent in Ireland was meaningful due to the careful planning.
I must say that the accommodations were excellent. I would highly recommend using a AUDLEY as a travel company, and if you are traveling to Ireland, Lily C. Was excellent to work with.

Absolutely the best trip we have ever taken. Laura had every step of travel arranged so there was absolutely no stress. We were met at every airport with porters and people guiding us through Customs. So nice to get off an airplane and not have to look for signs of where to go next.
Chobe and the Okavango Delta were amazing as was Victoria Falls. So much wild life so close to you. Hotels were perfect and friendly. No way could I have selected appropriate hotels by just going on line. We were given great packing tips and there were NO unwelcome surprises.
Audley made our 50th Anniversary trip so memorable. A true pleasure to work with.

Andria and team were excellent in guiding us through choosing enjoyable locations to visit in Italy. They took care of all details related to transfers to and from airports, the train, and to other experiences. We were relieved of any stress. The team in country was responsive and helpful. Restaurant suggestions were wonderful, particularly Auras on Ischia. We can’t imagine a more enjoyable trip. We will be back for another trip to Italy with Andria. Thank you for your kindness and attention to every detail!

I spent many months chatting with Eric Carnes preparing for my Portugal trip. Eric planned every detail with careful consideration of our needs. When in Portugal, we woke up everyday to a driver in a Mercedes Benz and a well-educated tour guide who took us to our daily destination. Even though I knew my daily itinery, it far exceeded the words on the paper. If I say flawless, I mean flawless. In fact, I can never travel in a group again.

Within 24 hours of contacting Audrey Travel about a possible trip for us to New Zealand, their Country Specialist had developed an itinerary that with but a slight adjustment captured New Zealand within a 10 day window. Besides a detailed travel booklet they sent to us, they provided a readily available snapshot of the trip itself. Because of the this, the trip went off without a hitch.

Our 1st Adventure to Greece was a fabulous experience in May 2026! It was my first trip with Audley and my friend’s fourth. Every detail, guide, meal, driver, hike, boutique hotel, and “helpful hint” were on point. Guides at ruins were trained and practicing archeological professionals. Meals and Walking Food Tours brought cultural insights. As two mature women traveling abroad, we felt very safe as each step knew our next connection. Eric Carnes used our feedback during the entire planning process to prepare a bespoke itinerary that suited our interests and personalities. Connecting with the people that led our experiences indicates depth of knowledge and professionalism in the Greece Team. That depth balanced with a genuine individual warmth led to many special memories.

My husband and I recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Japan. Everything was exceptionally well-organized, from the lovely accommodations and punctual transportation to the amazing recommendations for sightseeing and dining. We were also very impressed with the responsiveness of your 24/7 service; when we had a question regarding museum tickets, we received a reply within minutes.

Coming home, a coworker who lived in Japan for two years commented on how well we found "off the beaten path" gems that most travelers miss. We have Audley to thank for that. While we were initially concerned about the crowds during peak cherry blossom season, our itinerary allowed us to escape the busy areas whenever needed.

Mackenzie McNeill did a wonderful job and was a pleasure to work with. She took the time to understand our "must-see" list and offered excellent advice on additional sites to consider.

We cannot recommend Audley enough and look forward to working with them again.

I had the best experience ever with this company. Caroline Fahey planned our trip to Switzerland and it was Amazing!! Very organized, we met with her on zoom to go over the logistics which helped immensely. We also had a phone number just in case we had questions while on vacation. I called it because our flight was a little late. They promptly answered and were already following our flight to let our driver know, definitely excellent customer service. We appreciate and highly recommend Audley Travel & Caroline. We will definitely recommend your services as well as using them, thank you.

Tesia at Audley Travel helped us plan a wonderful trip to Japan. She was wonderful to work with and our itinerary was exactly what we wanted. This is our 5th trip with Audley and they have all been excellent.

I cannot recommend my travel agent enough!. Eric planned two absolutely amazing trips for us. One to Portugal and our most recent trip to Greece, both of which were unforgettable. His attention to detail, professionalism, and constant communication made everything seamless from the beginning to the end. Eric was always attentive, responsive, and made sure every part of the trip was perfectly coordinated, from the beautiful hotels, excursions and incredible dinner plans. Everything exceeded our expectations. It is rare to find someone who truly cares about creating such personalized and stress-free experiences. Thank you for making our travels so memorable. Audley Travel is, without a doubt, the worst organization I have ever dealt with. They absolutely cannot be trusted.

The entire experience was built on deception. Their specialists will tell you one thing, lie to your face, and then come back later with completely different details. No one in that office seems to know what is actually going on, and the lack of transparency is staggering.

What makes it worse is how they deliberately protect themselves from their own incompetence. They force you to sign a "terms and conditions" contract before doing any actual work with you. Once they fail to deliver on their promises, they hide behind that legal paperwork. No matter what verbal agreements or assurances their specialists give you, they will simply tell you it doesn't matter because of what you already signed.

To make matters worse, they completely refuse to provide actual, itemized receipts or invoices from the airlines, hotels, or other third-party vendors. This is clearly just a tactic to cover up massive hidden fees and markups they are charging you behind the scenes.

Avoid Audley Travel at all costs. They are deceitful, disorganized, and completely untrustworthy.

We just finished a trip to Japan for 20 days, planed by Tesia Batts from Audley Travel. It was an amazing adventure. Tesia, took the time to listen to what our family liked to do and what we wanted to get out of the trip. She created a customized itinerary, including personal tour guides that made the trip enjoyable. She selected hotels based on our preference and we were very happy with all Hotels. Her knowledge of Japan was extensive and she was able to make this a family vacation we will never forget. I highly recommend Tesia Batts and Audley Travel, for helping you plan your next adventure.

My husband and I have been traveling the Mediterranean on our catamaran for two years. The coast is beautiful but we really wanted to experience Italy inland. I contacted Audley and Lauren Middleton quickly responded. She listened to our desires and promptly put together an amazing trip. We left our boat near Pisa and began our amazing Tuscany, Florence, and Venice adventure. The accommodations were fabulous and the tours written as if from a story book. Lauren did an excellent job. She was even able to get our well put together itinerary binder to our first destination in San Gimignano. We were already in Europe and could not receive it in the US. Loved the extra touch of a specially delivered bottle of bubbly.

The detailed plan for the 26 days in Japan was incredible. Accommodations created for my mother who couldn't walk a lot were fantastic. Hotels, food, cities, transportation and time response while in Japan were outstanding.

Our trip to Portugal was amazing! Erika Jolle did an amazing job planning our trip, and she listened to what we wanted. She also gave us invaluable advice on things to see that we weren’t aware of. She also kept cost well within our budget. Our trip to Lisbon was great. The hotel in Lisbon, Corpo Santo, was quaint and the staff was incredibly helpful. The transfers that Audley provided were first class, and the excursions - Fado dining experience in Lisbon and four hour tours in Lisbon and Porto. Audley’s local agency responded to our requests after hours. The highlight of our trip was our tour of the Duero Valley. A chauffeured limousine two hour ride from Porto to the valley, a private wine tour and a private boat ride on the Duero River. Just an amazing trip. Kudos to Audley and Erika.

We especially enjoyed the peace of mind we had during our trip knowing that all arrangements (vehicle, hotels, attractions, and guides) were done with reliable and trust-worthy agencies. Audley's travel consultants are especially knowledgeable about the area and their recommendations were extremely valuable.

Thora was attentive to my needs, focused on providing the experience I wanted and in the way I wanted. Engaging, warm and friendly, answered all of my questions (and I always have plenty) and adjusted plans every time I had a new idea without getting flustered or frustrated. Very important to me, because I have traveled the world via my own research and planning and it can be challenging to hand over that process to someone else. This service reflects well on the company and ensures that I will return when I want to plan a trip without all the legwork (specially as I get older and travel alone. Having someone greet me at the airport and facilitate tours and transfers is invaluable and takes a load of energy expenditure off of my shoulders).
