I have had problems with my hearing and aids for a long while which left me isolated and unable to take part in social activities. In desperation I arranged to try Audiological Science who willingly took me on as an NHS client. An appointment was put in place very quickly for a hearing test. And the very next day new hearing aids were provided. They were masterly set, there and then for my problems by the Audiologist Joshua Maney who continued to provide me with excellent instructions for their management. He also helped me understand how to successfully use the accompanying app on my mobile and I left the clinic with high hopes for a good hearing future
I left the department with infinitely improved hearing than I had been experiencing for a long time which was a huge comfort. And out in the open air amongst the usual sounds I was once used to, I noticed immediately how my hearing had changed so remarkably for the better. Also, a further example, I like to listen to my favourite music and songs and, for the very first time, in nearly a year of my difficulties I heard the actual words of a song I played in my car as I was drove home. I was absolutely astonished at the clarity of the singer whose voice had before been so muffled and unintelligible. And already I’ve found I can also join in proper conversations with others without apologising for my deafness and asking for repetitions.
All told, Audiological Science have changed my world within 2 consecutive days back to a normality missing for a long time.
I was also given two booklets to read at my own leisure one of which was exceptionally clear about the care of the actual brand of aids with which I’d been provided. I was also advised that I could contact the department at any time I felt the need. This left me feeling valued as a client and, importantly, safe for the future.
I feel very comfortable highly recommending Audiological Science.

I had an appointment with Fengel Varghese for a hearing test. She was very pleasant and helpful and explained everything. At the end of the test we discussed my requirements and then she programmed and fitted me with a set of new NHS hearing aids. I am delighted with my new (free) hearing aids, they are performing as well as the (expensive) Oticon aids they replaced.

I was made to feel very comfortable and every stage of my consultation was explained thoroughly. I was not rushed into making any decisions . My audiologist was excellent.

Fennel asked lots of questions to help her identify what problems I was experiencing with my hearing. She the carried out a number of tests and explained what the results meant. Everything was done at a measured pace and explanations of each step made as we went along.
Finally she fitted my new hearing Sid’s and explained how to look after them etc. and where I should make contact in the future should I need further advice or help. Excelkent service!

I had my hearing tested by Fengel Varghese at the Malvern Health Centre and was prescribed hearing aids, I’ve had them less than 24 hours and am still getting used to them. My hearing has improved greatly and I’ve realised how loud the tv had become, altogether a very good experience and I would recommend it if you find you are struggling to make out words and sounds.

My Oticon 1’s have an issue after I bought them from AS less than 2 years ago & they have to go back to Oticon for service. AS quickly found me an urgent appointment to discuss the issue with an Audiologist but now cannot provide me with a temporary unit for when my aids go back to Oticon.
After speaking to other hearing aid providers the industry norm is for a temporary unit to be provided while the service takes place
I’m now facing upto 2 weeks of not hearing well which is frankly unbearable!!
Very poor service from Audiolical Science and to cap it all the Customer service agent this morning more or less called me a liar for the service that i had requested!!

The person I saw was good at explaining and througher in her assesment.
The only real problem is the complete lack of parking on the Abingdon site.

The audiologist was kind and polite. He explained every procedure well. He took his time and I didn’t feel rushed

Home visit from Syam was excellent. Everything was explained clearly and professionally, but also friendly. The hearing aids arrived about a week later and again Syam brought them and checked them thoroughly. I can’t honestly think of anything bad to say about the experience and I would easily recommend this company to anyone. Ps. I did have tests done with two other companies previously and A. S. won hands down.
