Due to a weather delayed flight (36hours), my connecting flight was missed so I needed to claim for the re-scheduled flight and associated costs.
Firstly the customer support was closed on weekends and over the Christmas break, so I was unable to get any assistance from the company.
The claim proces required submission of documents via their portal, a lot of these were then re-requested over e-mail.
The whole claim process had to be fought for every amount and took three payments over 3 months to finally cover all of the sections of the policy.
At each stage I was told it was the final payment until I challenged that it did not cover what was in the claim.
No statement on the amounts and applicable sections of the policy have been received, so it is difficult to confirm what has been paid.

I recently traveled to Bali and unfortunately had to make two separate claims for medical treatment after the trip. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went with the travel insurance company. The claims process was quick and straightforward, and I received the reimbursement promptly (minus the standard excess, which was expected). It's such a relief to know you're in good hands when things don’t go as planned. Great service and support — highly recommended!

I reached this company through a Medical Travel Insurance comparison site. It wasn't the cheapest but offered more than one type so thought I would try it. After purchase I couldn't open my attached documents as they were password protected and I didn't have a password. I emailed and got no reply. I telephoned and after listening to all the necessary info TWICE I was kept waiting for ever. I even tried the claims tel number but same result Hung up in the end. Eventually I did receive an email answer so did amend the review a little.

My son took out a policy with this company for winter sports. He had a severe fall on the slopes and had to be airlifted to hospital with a broken back. He is now fit to fly but they will only allow him on a stretcher on a commercial flight. He was passed fit to fly on Friday and they have still not organised any flight or travel back. He is still in hospital in Innsbruck and looks like he will be there till the end of the week at best. They have been totally useless and obstructive arranging repatriation despite numerous phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMAPNY IF YOU WANT ANY SERIOUS CLAM TO BE DEALT WITH QUICKLY AND WITH COMPASSION.

I bought a great value annual multi-trip policy last year from AtoZ and when I started to look at options for a bigger trip this year, I visited AtoZ again. I had a few questions about cover for a longer trip and the responses I got for these questiosn were both quick and helpful. They seem to have customer service sorted as a priority.

I recently used this company for travel insurance for trip with my partner. The cover was just what we needed and most importantly very affordable. I highly recommend and wouldn’t use anyone else for future trips. Thank you!

Read the fine print and purchase another insurance. Total waste of time even having it (non medical related).
As an example(we did not claim for cash)- £150 excess per person with a £200 cash limit. So if you lost all your cash you’d get £50 per person and you’d never be able to get enough information to even get near £50 payout.

Seriously, go elsewhere with your money or be a bright spark and read the T&C’s.

I found A to Z really easy to use and understand. The cover was explained simply so I had confidence that everything I needed was taken care off. Booked for myself, my niece and nephew and the package offered excellent value for money. I would highly recommend using them as it was just one less thing to worry about. Understanding exactly what I was getting was much easier compared with companies I have used in the past where hidden extras seem to come as standard.
