Armishaws Removals & Storage Anmeldelser

We had a fantastic experience with Ben and Rob from Armishaws after a recent move across the country.

They were both polite, punctual, friendly and made the process smooth and stress-free. They both remained pleasant and professional despite being faced with exceptionally hot weather and difficult parking.

All of our belongings were well looked after and nothing was damaged, they took great care when packing and unpacking.

The wider team were also responsive to enquiries and really helpful when we needed to make adjustments.

We would highly recommend anyone to use this company and would gladly use them again in the future.

Really careful packing, hard working even in 35 degree heat and the team were amazing! Packed and delivered the next day.

The crew Darin and Doug were amazing. They arrived on time and were polite, hardworking and careful moving our belongings.

We had Ben and rob move us, they were excellent removal men! Professional and careful with our belongings and also a good laugh, however the company itself needs to work on its communication and planning!

Friendly, helpful, professional team. Made it very easy and took great care with our possessions.

We had Darin and Doug come and help do our removals. They were very friendly and polite. both of them were working hard to ensure all our stuff arrived in the right place at the right time. Would definitely recommend this company and even more so the two guys Darin and Doug

Very professional and yet still a personal service throughout the process from providing a valuation to dealing and delivering the furniture

The team where really helpful and worked hard; great team

Sam and Toby led our removal which was over 5 days including all packing. The whole team were professional, courteous and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they managed to keep their sense of humour in spite of the very hot weather! All round an excellent experience!!

Darin and Sam collected and dropped off all our goods. Can’t say anything bad absolutely professional and hard workers. Thank you for making our move so easy stress free. Hope we get them again for our next move.

Darin, Sam and TJ recently moved me into my new bungalow from a large family house. They worked so hard when it was the hottest day of the year (so far) and it was only slightly cooler on the second day.
They were all so polite and helpful at all times and checked in with me when unsure whether a certain item needed to be loaded on the lorry.
I opted for the packing service and this they carried out with great care.
What an impressive team - I was so glad to have their support

The crew Sam, Weisley, Rohan and Alan were a good crew and took car of my household items. Would recommend them.

Alan/Doug did excellent job Collecting and Delivering My stuff.

In April 2025 we had three removal companies give us a quote to move house.
All three gave professional estimates with varying prices. Armishaws was in the middle. The estimator told me that if I pay £100 today I would go on the preferential customer list guaranteeing vehicles for the day, he said it was a no brainer as I would get a full refund if we went with another company. So I did.
We actually decided to go with another company and so I contacted Armishaws for a refund, to be told it would be less £30 for admin charge. After several emails with the sales manager which got more and more ridiculous, he even discussed the disciplinary action he would be taking with the estimator for not explaining that this £100 was in fact a deposit. He finally agreed to pay the £100 refund. The accounts department even returned an email saying the refund has been processed and they were waiting for the powers that be to press the button. 6 weeks later it seems pressing that button is to difficult for the powers that be.
I’m sure that this is a waiting game but it shows a complete lack of professionalism. I would seriously consider your options before using this company. Read all of their terms and conditions, look at all the hidden costs.

It began very promisingly with Chris coming to see us to discuss the move. We were moving from a large house with a farm attached at the end of January 2025. We had done a lot of the packing ourselves but needed assistance with the larger items and the more delicate precious pieces. Armishaws came to us over three days to pack. I had packed up most of the rooms upstairs leaving everything i wanted packed in that room to keep it together. This didn't happen. We were there the whole time in case assistance was required. Armishaws delivered to us over three days to the new house. When we started unpacking we found many damaged pieces of furniture including a large gilded frame with pieces missing not even in the box. There were scratches and missing veneer on many of the mahogany pieces. They had one helpful Foreman during this time but the men working for him seemed to have little idea about packing up a house of this kind. There was a definite lack of communication between management and the men actually doing the job. This was exacerbated by Chris not coming back as we had suggested and he had promised to assess the full extent of the job and how much packing we ourselves had done.

Paul (in charge) and Luke were with us for the 3-day move and were fantastic. They took excellent care especially with our more precious items. They didn’t rush us and made sure everything was finished properly before they left. They made it as low-stress as possible. The whole process was very smooth and efficient from the survey, quote, booking dates all the way through. Would highly recommend Armishaws. Thank you very much to all the staff involved.

Top rate service from Armishaws (their Overs division). Paul and Luke were superb - nothing was too much trouble and they made our first move in 25 years a happy and stress free experience. They understood this is one of life's most important events and were a joy to work alongside. Thank you!

Paul and Luke were exceptional;
Friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble

Wow! The removals team worked so hard and nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly and professional and met various challenges with efficiency and care.
Would highly recommend them. Thank you.

Armishaws moved us for the second time in 9 years this week and we were again so impressed by the efficiency of booking, the inventory process and the motivation of the team on the day.
Special shout out to Harry (x 2) and Rob - we had a laugh from start to finish over the two days - thank you!
