We purchased an Ariens kraken snowblower. We sold a perfectly fine working john deere snowblower because i had a stroke that caused arm and side issues and I wanted a machine that turns easier. $7500. Later and its been rough going getting parts under warranty for a new Ariens snowblower. The starter acted up from day one and would never work. Took about four months to get a starter. It's now spring. The bar light on the front only half lights up. Waiting months to get that. The dealership can't get the parts for Ariens. Do not buy an Ariens product. If it fails, you cannot get parts under warranty or if you offer to pay for them yourself.

worst customer service I've ever seen in my life. I purchased a snowblower at local Rona and the previous owner had registered it and returned it because the piece of garbage that he bought wouldn't start then I purchased it and now ariens it's saying that they can't transfer the warranty and I have a receipt of purchase on a brand new machine. I'm not sure how these guys are highly rated. It's probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life

Apparently, the company business model is to sell their products through retailers, but only service them through authorized dealers. I've been unable to contact the company itself directly by telephone, only a company called Hardware Plus who claims that they sell Ariens products but who could not put me in touch with the actual company. Our old snowblowers were OK, but I will never buy another one from Ariens. There are plenty of other companies out there making good products who deserve my business.

Wow. Bought a 24” snowthrower from northern tool in Minnesota. Filled it with gas and it idled out of control. So then We had to bring a brand new machine in to a repair dealer because northern tool couldn’t fix it. The repair dealer took another month to fix a brand new machine that ended up having a bad governor. Again it is a never used machine. Of course Ariens paid but what a terrible system if they don’t bother to test their outgoing products. Never Ariens again for us. Beware

Impossible to get through to customer service and their website assistance page has a form to submit. But no-one ever replies - useless is generous

This company has one of the worst customer service departments I have dealt with. You call thier customer service number and are on hold forever and it does not matter what time of day you call listening to the same song over and over. When I asked if they give a military discount I was told no and then told thankyou for your service seems kind of insincere. When it’s time to buy a new one it will be another company

Just purchased 30 in snowblower used twice Shute control is defective cannot be repaired and they say under warranty but will not replace

1. Purchased an Edge 54" 2 years ago. Front caster spindles are maintenance free, no grease fittings. They're now squeaking real loud. Company rep says they went to maintenance free because customers weren't doing maintenance. So now they use plastic sleeves that barely last thru the warranty period. So basically what they're saying is a $2800 mower is designed to only last two years.
2. I placed an order thru their website May 28th and the current status states "in progress" but they have no record. ????
Decision. After talking with them and learning they purposely design their products to fail this will be the last purchase and that includes Gravely, Westwood and Countax.

Snow-thrower, dual stage, it’s amazing. I’ve had it for many years without a problem. Change the spark plug, oil, grease the fittings, add air to their chunky tires is what I did so far after many years of flawless operation. There are many
You-tube tutorials to show you how to do the maintenance yourself. Do your research on the Thrower you choose, those lower priced models will mean you get an inferior product. It’s tempting but definitely not worth it. You won’t regret it buying the proper ARIENS for your home.

I have tried to contact this company several tiimes with regard to a very expensive Countax garden tractor. Absolutely no response.

I contacted regarding trying to register for a warranty of a chainsaw. Should be a simple process. After a phone call, emails and raising a ticket... a month later... nothing. If their service is this bad what would happen if I needed to get a spare? a repair or a claim on the warranty?
UPDATE: After chasing and chasing I eventually was able to register
