Highly recommended course for anyone looking to get into the trade. A lot of technical and practical knowledge to be gained as well as what tools are right for the job.

Amazing course that taught all the basics of appliance repairs, Lee was a great teacher too, made everything very easy to understand and follow along to.

I attended the two-week Foundation Appliance Repair course with NAC in Wakefield, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
The training facilities are excellent, with a wide range of appliances available to work on, giving plenty of hands-on experience across different types of repairs. The course includes lots of practical demonstrations, and the classroom sessions are supported by real components and parts, both faulty and working, which makes understanding faults and diagnostics much easier. The online learning materials are also excellent and remain available after the course, making them a valuable reference.
Everyone I met at NAC was friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout the two weeks. A special mention goes to our trainer, Lee Robinson, who was outstanding. His knowledge and experience are obvious, but what really sets him apart is his ability to explain concepts clearly and make even complex topics easy to understand. He's an excellent teacher as well as a highly skilled engineer.
I started the course with no knowledge or experience of appliance repair, but by the end I felt genuinely confident in my understanding and much better prepared to start working in the industry.

Great course with a Great teacher. Everything you need to get a a wide knowledge of kitchen appliances and how to test as well as repair them.

The training was well arganized, easy to follow, and provided a good balance of theory and practical. The trainer(Lee Robinson) was exeptional explaining the concepts clearly, encouraging questions, and always creating supportive environment where everyone felt confortable participating.

What impressed me most was the company's commitment to help the student to succed. The training materials were relevant, the pace was appropriate, and there was a clear focus on ensuring that everyone understood the content before moving on. I also appreciate the professionalism, communication, and the effort that Lee put into making the sessions engaging rather than just informative.

One area that make the experience even better was hand-on activities and real-world scenarios, that helped reinforce learning. Overall, it was a positive experience, and i came away feeling more confident and better prepared for my role.

I recently competed a two week course in domestic appliance repair. I found the course engaging and am so glad that I attended.

The course was well structured mixing first class theory with invaluable hands on practical experience.

The instructor Lee made me feel welcome and was forthcoming in answering any question that I had throughout the two weeks. His decades of experience in white goods shone through.

An exceptional course (the two week foundational training) and I have absolutely zero regrets.

I went in to the training on 2nd March 2026 with very little experience in the field. I'd only ever done DIY around the home and basic car repairs/maintenance.

Everyone is made to feel at ease and welcomed, and there are always opportunities to ask questions to fill in the gaps of your knowledge. No question is ever treated as stupid. The course is just the right balance of theory and practical.

I have come out of the course with a lot more confidence that I will make a career out of this. I've just bought the kit I'll need and have already diagnosed and fixed a couple of appliances for family only a week after the course finished.

The course is pitched to take people who know very little to the point that they can confidently take the next step in their career, whether that be mentorship or self employment. The course material is written to be clear and easy to understand, greater information is given by Lee whilst working through the presentations. Lee has a great deal of knowledge on the subject and answers all questions in a manner that is understandable. There is a lot of information to process and there is time given to get hands on with different appliances with differing faults. I would highly recommend this course, and Lee as a trainer, to anyone wishing to pursue this avenue as a career.
