We've helped more than 3,600 international medical trainees around the world rotate virtually and in the U.S., obtaining letters of recommendation from U.S. physicians that trainees can use when they apply to the Match. AMOpportunities is the only full-service clinical experience platform built for medical trainees and institutions. Our streamlined marketplace allows individuals to search, apply for, and secure rotations with ease. It also enables institutions to efficiently manage students and set training capacity. When questions do arise, both parties can feel secure knowing they have a dedicated support team for any of their needs. Our in-person rotations allow participants to become part of a functioning healthcare system. Visitors are paired with a physician who, over the course of four or more weeks, shares insight and expertise on the program’s specialty. We offer two types of virtual rotations for international medical students and graduates, including education/research-focused and patient-care virtual rotations. In addition to the following, these multifaceted programs feature merit-based letters of recommendation and financially accessible clinical rotations in the U.S. healthcare system.

Great shadowing experience
This past summer, I participated in a virtual shadowing experience at Einstein Hospital in NY. The Dr. was a general and bariatric surgeon. There were only 2 participants so there was a lot of interaction between the doctors and those shadowing him. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable, of course. It was evident that he was not just passionate about his work but also about teaching us. It was alsways a 2-way interaction. I learned more in these few weeks than all of my previous shadowing experience put together.

As easy as grocery shopping! Specially convenient 🥲
I came from overseas and my journey was super worth it! The whole process was very easy and fast. It took me about only a month to finish all requirements and documents including the paperwork I was asked.
I needed a lot of assistance because it was my very first time in the US. It was no way I could do all of the math on my own. AMO helped me through every single step.
Made my life easier a thousand times. I loved that I can pick and choose the rotations based on my specialties of interest. You can literally choose whatever rotations! Even the hard ones to find and book on your own. For instance dermatology, surgery, plastic surgery, etc… they even now have virtual rotations and you can still get an LOR from the comfort of your home.
I don’t know what to say, was I lucky or unlucky, for the time being there COVID-19 hit! Yet lucky for sure because it was a no breather for AMO to help me out by switching between rotations and found me another tailored rotation as my second original rotation was canceled due to the medical storm caused by the pandemic. Not only that but I also got a good refund. So yes, AMO is not just an agency it’s a whole army who’s there for you. Anything you want they can help you with. Literally “anything”!
They helped me find my accommodation & rotation site, transportation availability, and even what to pack for my state of training (mine was Florida)!
To sum up, yes it’s easy as grocery shopping and it’s worth every single cent you’ll pay. I paid through Apple pay. All I had to do was a face scan to confirm my purchase instantaneously! Prices vary based on site or specialty. I advise you to create your AMO account FOR FREE and lavish this service!
AMO is home it’s not just an office where you shadow and leave. Everyone is super kind and welcoming.
