I’m posting this to make other customers aware of my experience.

I had unused lesson credit remaining with LessonWise before its transition to Alucea Education. I tried contacting LessonWise several times by email and through webchat to ask about my remaining credit and request a refund, but unfortunately, I never received a response.

I have since found that the LessonWise website now redirects to the Alucea Education website.

I’m very disappointed that my outstanding credit has still not been resolved, despite my repeated attempts to contact the company.

If you were a LessonWise customer and still have unused lesson credits or outstanding issues, please check what has happened to your balance and contact the company for clarification. Keep copies of your payment records and previous correspondence.

I hope Alucea Education will acknowledge these outstanding LessonWise customer issues and provide a clear explanation and resolution for those affected.

As a tutor Lessonwise provides students that in my experience have been nice (although at times there is some pressure to take on more than you want). There is an expectation of a free intro session.
However, over the past year the technology and communication has been awful. It has been made very clear that I was not valued as a tutor and the time I spent (sometimes 20 per lesson) getting in touch with IT support to get a student connected, often to change to Google meet and losing all the resources I'd prepared on their own whiteboard was unpaid and I was told it is just part of their expectations of me. There were inconsistent messages from leadership.

We found our son’s English tutor, Elizabeth Cokery, through LessonWise and honestly couldn’t be more grateful. Elizabeth has been absolutely fantastic. Patient supportive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping him succeed. His confidence and skills improved so much during his time with her. We would highly recommend both Elizabeth and the LessonWise platform to anyone looking for quality tutoring support.

Excellent tuition provider, with a quality service, and incredibly helpful staff who are always happy to answer questions. The students are fantastic to support, and easy to communicate with.

LessonWise is a fantastic company to work for. As a self-employed tutor, I always feel fully supported and valued by the team. Communication is open, friendly, and professional, and there is always someone available to help if needed.

The platform itself is excellent, interactive, easy to use, and very user-friendly for both tutors and students.

The customer service is phenomenal; any issues or questions are dealt with quickly and efficiently, which makes a huge difference when working independently.

Amazed by the customer service team both Jessica and Jon have been so prompt for dealing with any technical or delay in lessons. They are supportive and as a tutor it's a privilege to support students increasing the standards in the level of teaching with the support. I truly recommend .

The lessons are great and the teacher is committed to helping each student grow and develop so they can achieve great results in their performance.

Lessonwise has been exceptional in supporting my daughter throughout her A-level Biology studies, UCAT entrance exam preparation, and dentistry interview process. Their guidance has been thorough, structured, and genuinely effective at every stage.

I was looking for an A level History tutor for my granddaughter, so I started trawling through the businesses that provided this service. Nick from Lessonwise was so very helpful right from the start, answering all of my questions comprehensively and with expertise. He found us the tutor, Bernard who came with excellent qualifications. Before we committed to anything however, my granddaughter received a free 30 minute zoom call from Bernard, during which time she was able to decide if she felt comfortable with him. She definitely did and so far she has had 4 highly successful lessons, with her grades improving considerably. Apart from tge actual lessons, I have been very impressed by the level of service behind the scenes. Eisha is a contact for me, should I have any questions and with whom I had a zoom call before any lessons began, just to explain how the system works. Both my granddaughter and I have access to the recorded lessons (which safeguards both pupil and tutor), we can see results and send messages to Bernard. We are both delighted that we chose Lessonwise and would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone looking for a tutor: very good value for money!

I’ve been a tutor with Lessonwise for a good few years now and they are a wonderful company to work for. They pay their tutors fairly and their communication teams is always on it! I’d like to give a special mention to Jon, who is always on hand to sort out any issues, ensuring lessons operate very smoothly!

The platform links up students with Tutors. The hourly rate is pretty good and getting students on the platform is really fast as well

I was tutored by Dr. Natasha March in politics, I loved her as my tutor and enjoyed our lessons not only in academia but also on the wider implications of what we learned in the curriculum. Good experience overall, my queries were always answered quickly, Sreeya the academic advisor is lovely, only wish there was a more convenient line of communication.

My child had a horrible experience

Very poor experience. The lack of professionalism was disturbing. Appointments are not kept nor are promises to get back to us. We now have hired a tutor elsewhere.

I was tutored by Asha for A-Level mathematics and physics. She was incredibly helpful and provided help quickly to questions I had out of lesson.

Helped me son to go from grade 1 to grade 5 in English within four weeks! Amazing!! Jade!

My son taught by Neil Hedge is doing so well in the school and secure in top set GCSE.
They are quick to respond if we have any question and always send timely reminders of scheduled lessons.
Neil is a competent tutor, his lesson is fast paced and gives targeted homework.

I booked 10 lessons for my 15 year old son as he was struggling with his Maths. Otis listened to what I wanted from a maths tutor and he really listened to what was required. He round a lovely lady called Keer, my son says she explains things in a way he understand. He was on foundation paper and now will be completing the higher paper with a much higher expected grade . Thank you for all your help and understanding.
