Products not great
Service and delivery was good and prompt. The products themselves were poor quality, out of 12 fence posts, only 3 were not twisted and bent. This made my project extremely difficult to try and use any precision, I had to keep using extra fixings and "eyeballing" because of the different angles. Finished product is not great to look at but it does feel sturdy.

Excellent experience
Very straightforward process. I placed the order, chose a delivery date and it was delivered with no problems on that date. The timber was good quality, dry and straight. A very happy customer!

Well done Horsham branch.
Ordered sleepers on line. Front of house at Horsham were very friendly and courteous and store man kindly helped me with the loading. All in all a very pleasant buying experience. Thank you.

Brilliant service again from Alsford
Brilliant service again from Alsford. I ordered builders sand but rubbish WiFi repeated the same order so I ended up ordered twice as much as needed. They helped me cancel the second order. When it arrived I realised only needed one so they arranged collection. Totally fuss free and non judgmental of my personal chaos.

Check the small print on the website to see what size timber will actually be delivered.
This company does not provide timber in the size advertised, you need to read the small print on the website to see the actual size that they will deliver, which begs the question “why advertise the larger size, and hide the real size in the small print?”. It’s purposely misleading. When I asked for the size advertised I was told it wasn’t available but could be specially milled at extra cost! No thank you! Won’t be using again.
