We agreed a price of £59 pound and once this was complete I was charged 20% VAT on top which they did not mention. If they made this clear initially I would not have accepted. The job took 30 seconds to complete (locked out with key on inside).

Dear Ahmed
Thank you for your feedback. It is the standard company practice to quote VAT on all calls and before we proceed with the works. You were quoted VAT, which you had also repeated. We understand a missed recollection to have happened.
As quoted £59.00 + VAT is the standard charge for a locksmith to attend your emergency in getting you back into your property.
If there anything further you would like to bring to our attention. Please email us

Dear Shaun,
Thank you for taking time to review our service.
I note that you were quoted to open the door. You opted to also change the lock, which of course incurs an extra cost.
Apologies if that was not made clear enough.

Job well done! 😀
Nice bright and clean space. Served by Alex who was just the right blend of professional and friendly. Was honest about the key I needed cutting as I didn’t have all the necessaries with me.
However he cut the keys and guess what; they’re perfect! Thanks so much for saving me loads of time and hassle!
