Sheetal from Alcura came to visit us last weekend to help with administering medication. She was so helpful, knowledgeable and reassuring. Thank you so much for your help and calm guidance.

Poor experience so far (a month in).

Staff repeatedly called asking for personal information without clarifying who they are, who they are acting for or why they are calling & they would not speak to carers (I'm deaf).
They had been informed to use email, to which responses are slow or frequently misunderstood, further delaying service.
They will only deliver Mon-Fri 8-6, offering only a delivery date. Messaging an estimated two hour slot the night before does not negate needing to book the whole day off.
They require the name of the person signing, meaning it can't be delivered to work or building reception or signed for by carers without every possible staff members name being provided first.
When asked to clarify what training entailed, was provided with curt responses.
This is not miscommunication, it is a repeatedly poor service delaying medication.
Formal complaint will be logged with hospital.

The experience was amazing, Sheetal was so helpful explaining everything guide me all the way. She put me and my son in ease. This made the experience less stressful for us and especially for my son.

Bad at responding to emails about outstanding medication. Blamed Hospital for not send a prescription and hospital advised dates when sent???
Would be much better if I could just use the hospital directly rather than NHS subcontracting services.
Now missed my 'weekly' injection date so had to seek assistance from the hospital.

Absolutely useless, no one can so basic arithmetic and waiting for a call back🤣

Sarah Exworthy today trained me to use the pen containing Teriparatide. She was very patient and kind and explained the procedure in a clear understandable way and watched me inject myself ensuring I knew what to do.she stayed to ensure I was OK as I had several strange pulses in my back which quickly wore off. She then checked my blood pressure and temperature before leaving. She related to me very well and I found it a most positive and reassuring experience.

John G from Alcura UK was amazing. John introduced me to the GCSF injections that I used to prepare for my stem cell donation. He talked me through everything thoroughly and kindly, gaining proper informed consent for everything. I was left feeling very reassured with the medication and much less worried about the process. The donation turned out to go very smoothly and John is partly responsible for this 👏. Many thanks.

Attention to detail. Understanding exactly what i asked. Follow up calls and extra information for possible future needs .

We had a wonderful experience with Sheetal who came to our home to teach us how to give our son his injections. From the moment she arrived, she was professional, kind, and incredibly reassuring.

She took the time to explain every step of the process in clear, simple terms and made sure we understood not just how to do the injection, but why each step was important. She demonstrated the technique carefully, then guided us patiently while we practiced, offering gentle corrections and encouragement along the way. Her thoroughness gave us real confidence.

What stood out most was her calm and compassionate manner. She understood that this can feel overwhelming for parents and made sure we felt supported throughout the visit. She answered all of our questions without rushing and double-checked that we were comfortable before leaving.

Thanks to her professionalism, patience, and attention to detail, we now feel confident and prepared to manage our son’s injections at home. We’re very grateful for her excellent care and would highly recommend her to anyone needing similar support.

Sarah Exworthy came to my home to give me training for Eladynos injections today and was absolutely first class .

I had an excellent training session with Nurse Alison on how to use the Ajovy injection. She explained everything clearly and at a comfortable pace, making sure I fully understood each step before moving on. Nurse Alison was patient, knowledgeable, and very reassuring, which helped ease my nerves about giving myself the injection. She took the time to answer all of my questions and provided helpful tips to make the process simple and stress-free. By the end of the training, I felt confident and prepared to use Ajovy on my own. I truly appreciated her supportive approach and would highly recommend this training to anyone starting Ajovy.

Alcura has the worst service ever for the delivery of medication, their drivers go to the wrong address, you get a message that they have been with pictures of a place you do not even know. You call to make the correction and still not get your medication. Sad as it is not happening for the first time. If you value your health dont relay on them.

Just had John G come in to talk me through my medication and injections. I must say he is amazing, talked me through every stage and made me feel at ease. If you are lucky enough to have him as your nurse you're in good hands, he is an absolute gem.

Andre, my nurse, was extremely patient, friendly and knowledgeable and gave me confidence to start my treatment. Thank you.

John Goldie visited my home to take bloods and he was brilliant through the whole process. So friendly and put me at ease throughout. Definitely made for his profession!

Sheetal came this morning to guide me through my first self injection, which she did brilliantly. But she did SO much more than that in understanding, warmth and empathy. Left me feeling I was worth asking help for, and steps to deal with my loneliness. She is a wonderful warm human being and excellent at her job.

My meds were delivered on time and the nurse visit by Sarah was very comprehensive and I felt confident to start doing my injections for osteoporosis. Sorry Sarah I didn’t have your surname for the review.
