I am an Alarm.com Certified Technician, when I call for help, their Technicians are very professional, knowledgeable, patient, understanding and polite. By FAR the best Support Service in the business. The only complaint is the wait on line, otherwise 5 STARS

Very poor app. Camera recording and mobile access is horrible.

System has regular occurring errors. Will arm and disarm on its own. Good luck cancelling service, they auto renew you. Cannot wait to cancel. Hateful customer service when you try to disconnect service. No understanding.

Alarm.com installed their equipment incorrectly which caused a false alarm to alert. They came in and corrected their issue however left us with a $75 bill from Harris County. They also fail to point out key contractual information.

Just horrible service they show up present them selves as ADT sell you on bunch BS then their installer shows up with ADT diy kit and does horrible half as install and if it even works not usable just waist of time and money

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We have had problems since the day we had this system installed in our home. They wired it wrong twice and we have had to pay HVAC companies to come out and figure out what the problem is. The doorbell wasn’t installed correctly and doesn’t chime in the house and they are charging us a fee to have their person come out to program it correctly. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! You will be wasting your money!

Poor service and even worse customer service. They will lock you into a contract before you know how horrible the service is and make you pay even more to cancel. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You will save time and money going with someone's else... anyone else, I promise that.

Garbage. Alarm.com doesn’t provide on-site support and my home security provider that sold me the system isn’t any help either. They come out but never resolve my issues.
By the time I get an alert that someone is at my front door, they’re gone. There are no saved recordings of my dog who is always running around my backyard or me walking around. But the cameras save every wasp or bug that flies in front of it. I’d give it a zero if I could.

I've had alarm.com for about three years now. It's junk. My system frequently encounters issues where the alarm.com web site and mobile app simply stop responding to commands. For example, sending the command to turn on and off lights, unlock or lock doors simply fails today. On their web site and mobile app, they show the command being received. Unfortuantely, that doesn't tell you whether or not the command succeeded as I found out the hard way (the commands are silently failing). The interface definitely has significant room for improvement and debugging and fixing the system should not require the service provider to come out. Remeber, this is an automated solution! Reliability is a huge disappointment as these issues occur REPEATEDLY every 4 to 6 months. I'm ditching this piece of junk for a better alternative that is reliable.

Do Not get this alarm by alarm.com.. Horrible service, Camera outside goes out & ive been trying to get help with this & go to work, stressful.. No help & no service people to help, they will run you ragged trying things that dont work, like hold this buttin down, unplug the device & plug into new wall socket!!!! 2 months later they want to send new camera costing me 5 bucks for shipping, they dont cherish there customers & will leave you wondering why did i chose this crappy alarm company. If i could give them no stars i would!!!!

Does not actually provide security. The systems are cheap, and when they fail to perform basic functions, the company hides behind long term contracts to keep you paying monthly. Very frustrating, have tried many times to cancel or get something that works...countless hours testing my patience with customer service, tech support, and upper management.

Can't wait until my contract is expired so I can get away from this company.

As with many customers, we are new to the buying experiences when it comes to a security company.

After the home purchase with D R Horton, I was provided an Alarm.com doorbell. Just to let you know. The doorbell look great, but the customer service with Alarm.com is exhausting to deal with.

After two days, all I got from the customer service department is this message:

Yes, I called Brinks, Links, and etc all said the same things about Alarm.com customer service numbers. Not going to name the companies since they are dealers for Alarm.com, both said the customer service issues has been ongoing for years. Shocking...YEARS! Thank God I do not have stocks in that company.

So, I am a team player. All I can do is give the warnings. I would stay away from Alarm.com like no other. In the end, just wanted to share my first time experience with Alarm.com

Joined Dec 4th 2017, due to faulty cheap cameras they sell and have installed my video clip quota of a 1000 was reached in less than 2 days, unable to adjust and fix. Have to wait another week or two for two more new camera replacements, now they have shut my security system down till Jan 4th and its their faulty equipment that caused the issue. Definitely not recommended to sign with them, am looking for other options now. Their ad for their product is a lie and a scam, they steal your money and run.

From day 1 it has been a dance and now we're 4 years later and a LOT of time, effort, money and concern over my safety. I've been sent up the flag pole to the exec offices. STILL NOTHING YEARS LATER. It's not a company I would suggest doing business with.

NON-STOP HARASSMENT
They bought my information from someone. Their automated system has called me non-stop several times a day for weeks. One cannot block the system, because it calls from a different number every time

Yuniel G. was our service tech. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The app is very easy to use as is the control panel. I feel very comfortable and a lot more secure knowing my home is being monitored while we are away.

Greg Golightly was our sales guy and he answered all of our questions and more! The service turned out to be less expensive than I thought which was very exciting. Alarm.Com app very easy to use and in home panel very easy to use. I did not get the tutorial, like my husband did, but I navigate the panel just fine without any instruction.
