This has been an exceptionally wonderful experience. My first time doing an African Safaris. I didn't know what to expect and Africa Budget Safaris made sure that everything was arranged and vendors used were exceedingly excellent. Thank you Claire and your amazing team, this will not be my last.

This was a magical experience curated by African Budget Safaris.The hotels we stayed at on the safari were amazing! The staff were so helpful and welcoming! Our safari guide from Asili Tours was so wonderful. He kept us safe and made sure we had an awesome experience! He was so knowledgeable and helpful! Our wedding was the best day of our lives! Everything was planned so well and it was so awesome getting married in the Serengeti under an acacia tree! The Massai chief who married us was so kind and the singing and drumming was amazing! We will never forget it! Our honeymoon in Zanzibar was terrific! The hotel was beyond all expectations, so beautiful and right on the ocean. It was a great experience after all the safari days. Thank you so much for giving us such an amazing experience that we will never forget!

We had the pleasure of working with Harriet to arrange our travel, lodging, game drives, and tourist attractions in Sabi Sands and Tanzania. She communicated promptly and professionally, making a seamless trip for us. All details were as described and we were pleasantly pleased as many things exceeded our expectations.
We would highly recommend ABS to future travelers. They made our travel budget go farther without compromising quality.

Daniel at ABS was great in arranging my trip. His response was always fast and helpful. I had to change my arrival and departure flight times multiple times and he made the changes to my itinerary without any problems. I am happy to report that I absolutely loved my Zanzibar holiday. After climbing Mount Kilimanjaro it was the perfect way to relax. The hotels were beyond my expectations. The first hotel I had a lovely room near the breakfast area. The room was large and the bathroom had a large tub, perfect for soaking my sore muscles. The second resort was larger with a beautiful pool area and nice dinner buffet with live music. My room was a cottage right next to the beach. I had perfect sunrise views right from my bed! The last resort was smaller more intimate but again my room was large and the hotel was clean and perfectly maintained. All of my tours were great too. I felt they were the right length and the guides were excellent. Very knowledgeable and easy to understand. I found the tour of the slave museum especially moving. All in all I enjoyed the trip and can’t think of even one thing to complain about.

I’ve been planning a road trip across Africa for sometime now. Having contacted several companies, ABS stood out after speaking to Daniel who was so responsive and informative. We decided on a 20 day trip from Cape Town to Victoria Falls, Daniel organised the pre and post hotels and all transfers. The trip from start to finish went smoothly and I will definitely use this company again. We had a better experience going through ABS than others on the trip who went direct and we got a better deal!

We just got back from our third African trip organized by Bronwyn at African Budget Safaris, and as we've come to expect, everything went off without a hitch and we had a fabulous trip.

The accommodations were better than expected for our budget and most importantly we saw a TONNE of animals!

We stayed at Chobe Elephant Camp for three nights. This was a great spot close to the National Park. The rooms had AC, indoor and outdoor showers, plus they did daily laundry for free. Oh and it was open bar, we really were spoiled! Food was excellent and greatly varied. I highly recommend the river cruise. It makes for a long day as you leave the lodge at 6am and get back around 6pm, but you see so much! And experiencing the animals from the water is a whole new experience.

Our next three nights were at Khwai Guest House in the Okavanga Delta. You have to change your expectations here as it's in the middle of nowhere and runs off of solar power. Given these constraints they did a phenomenonal job. The food, while simple, was always plentiful and tasty. There was a pool for cooling off in the middle of the day. And again we saw TONNES of animals. We only went on a drive through the private concession once, and on that particular drive it was uneventful. The drives through the national park had much more to see.

We could not have been happier with what Bronwyn organized for us. She is such a pleasure to work with and always does her best to try to work within our budget and give us various options. Thank you once again Bronwyn!!!

Our first Safari adventure and it started and ended well through the grace of God, and the people who have helped us through African Budget Safaris. I regard prompt and effective communication as a must, and Bronwyn did great by us. We planned months in advanced, and all the preparations have paid off. It was my second time arranging a tour through African Budget Safaris. Communication with Bronwyn was smooth from the start. All questions were promptly answered.
Paying large sums of money online can be concerning. I found that the systems put by African Budget Safaris are reliable and contain security traits. There are no surprises or last-minute charges; everything was clear through the process. They offer some of the most value-for-money competitive offers.
From my experience, the company does a thorough job of working with local tour companies that ensure guests have a contextualised experience during their tours.

We flew from Dar Es Salem to Nyerere National Park for 3 nights in Lake Manze Safari camp and then another flight to go to Mdonya Old River Safari camp. The flights saved hours of driving and we saw wild life right from landing.
The camps were very quiet without modern trappings; just comfortable tents surrounded by wild life and great meals by candle light. Guides and drivers were fantastic and very knowledgeable.
All flights were on nearly on time and after the safaris we went to Zanzibar, staying in two luxurious hotels, quite different to each other and totally different locations but both memorable for all the right reasons.
Best holiday ever!

I was so lucky to find this company, I was looking for a last minute trip and, although the booking period had closed, Harriet worked her magic and got me a place. The trip itself was unbelievable (Botswana Wildlife, Okavango Delta & Victoria Falls Safari). Camping amongst the animals (not in a park, just out in the wild), listening to hyenas and elephants walking past in the middle of the night was pretty scary, but what an experience. We were well fed with food cooked on a campfire and kept really busy with bushwalks, swimming in the delta and various other activities.

This was my 3rd time travelling with African Budget Safaris and that says a lot right there. This trip was a 5 day Kruger National Park safari and it all went according to plan. The accommodations were clean and safe, the guides were spectacular and the vegetarian meals were tasty and plentiful. Claire Monson is an absolute gem to work with, she responds to questions and has great follow-up advice. I had a concern about one booked activity due to a knee injury I sustained right before travelling and Claire took care of it immediately. I will definitely travel with ABS again and highly recommend everyone check out their website for great trip ideas within many price ranges.

Just returned from an 8 day walking safari, Luangwa valley. I had the best time of my life.Amazing wildlife, lovely guides, fantastic food, and the camps were all wonderful. A big thank you to Bronwyn for all her help.
A dream trip come true.

Truly a satisfying experience. I’ve to thank Daniel from African Budget Safari for providing me with right package after understanding my preferences. Although my initial trip got cancelled due to Covid restrictions, Daniel managed to reserve my trip for the future and I finally managed to get on to the safari.
The tremisana lodge and treehouse lodge were simply great . Simple lodges but felt homely . The staffs in the lodges were great in their hospitality.
The safaris were the most satisfying part . Managed to see lots of animals in their natural habitat.

Overall totally satisfying . Thank you African Budget Safaris.

We've just had an amazing trip to Botswana; Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve. We went to Delta Camp and then Kwai River Lodge. The trip exceeded all our expectations. The guides were amazing and exceptional at doing what they love best.
