10 February: I made a flight reservation with Aeroticket and paid an initial amount of £25.
23 February: Booking terms were confirmed and I was asked to check and confirm names via email. The total fare was stated as £2,650.
23 February: I provided the requested written confirmation confirming names and other details correct.
23 February – 29 May: I made the agreed instalment payments as follows: £700, £700, £525, and £700, and repeatedly requested written confirmation of receipt. I ensured I had written documentation of all correspondence and payment was only via Card.
2–5 June: I provided a screenshot of the final payment on 4 June when requested and asked for my tickets. I was asked to confirm my passenger details, I expressly reconfirmed again by email on 5 June that the booking details were correct and instructed issuance of my e‑tickets.
10 June: Upon chasing, I was informed by telephone that my ticket had “expired” because I allegedly failed to confirm details of the names before 5:00 pm on 5th June, and I was offered alternative dates or to pay additional sums.
At no point in the prior written communication was it specified a unilateral, time‑limited requirement that I reconfirm the booking before 5:00 pm. My confirmation of the booking details on 23 February and my subsequent email on 5 June satisfied the confirmation requested. I was told I must accept alternative dates or pay additional sums or they could refund me.

I asked this to be put in writing, Agent wrote
"So on the phone conversation. I try to explain you that, you reservation was expired form airline. Due to late confirmation reply. so now I have two options for you.
1 Option: You can take the same airline on current fare whatever difference will be come. We can pay half and half you can pay for your tickets. I will give you the tickets.
2 option: You can take different airline and I will pay the fare difference also. You don’t need to pay anything".

You just can imagine the frustration, disappointment and anger I felt after all plans had been in place since February and now being told this in June for a flight scheduled for July. I requested I wanted my refund, I wasn't going to continue with this. I had to find a way to sort myself and family out of this. I was promised 3-4 working days for refund, it has been 18 days since and haven't received it. Agent isn't taking my call anymore.

Upon reflection, I should have known better than book with a horrible service I wasn't sure of from the get go.

Buyer beware, do not be a victim. Learn from my example so you don't experience it yourself.

Do not be deceived by the number of 5 star reviews on here, the question I would ask myself is, who wrote the reviews?
