Worth the time.
Was really skeptical at first but after getting logged in and doing that first appointment talking with my person I started to feel more comfortable with it all. It’s so hard to find a Dr to actually listen to you when you talk but they do.

Great Experience With Doctor Kokayi
Doctor Kokayi was the most kind and personable doctor I have ever met. I felt comfortable speaking to him immediately. He genuinely made me feel seen and heard. I have had negative experiences with previous providers, who rush treatment and appeared disinterested, and this was a night and day improvement.
During the appointment he recommended medication management for me, and expressed confidence that it will help me tremendously. I intend to continue following up with him on a regular basis.
As a college student, I am entitled to certain accommodations from my school with this diagnosis. Dr. Kokayi wrote me a letter with proof of diagnosis and spoke in support of accommodations in such a thoughtful way. I received this letter within 24 hours of my original appointment.
As far as the medication goes: My insurance required preauthorization for medication, so I was unable to pick up the day of the appointment. The team at ADHD Advisor kept me updated the entire time. Preauthorization was obtained from my insurance, at which point my prescription was ready for pick up in less than 48 hours from my original appointment. I experienced absolutely no difficulty throughout the entire process so far.
I highly recommend!
And, if anyone is curious, I am a 100% legitimate client who paid out of pocket for these services and has not been asked to write this review. I had researched the company prior to trying it and I was hesitant after reading all of the negative reviews on Reddit. I chose to give it a chance anyway, and I am so grateful I took that chance.
KEEP IN MIND: Medication availability depends on your state, but this information is all readily available on their website!! Please do your research and adjust your expectations accordingly. If you are in an eligible state, this process is a breeze.

I’m a 53 year old combat veteran that Paid $150 for a diagnosis and medication. I’ve been suffering with ADHD since I was a kid and then got injured in combat and went downhill fast. So I came to ADHD Advisor finally feel free and feel clear my head and slow everything down around me. So I meet with the adhd advisor who isn’t an Dr. and she listens to my concerns and symptoms and then diagnoses me with ADHD but said she wouldn’t help me any further. I don’t know why but I feel imo that it’s a scam. What kind of medical professional would tell you and diagnose you with a problem and then just say sorry can’t help you? Then take your money. Unbelievable and so disappointing.
