Extremely efficient and friendly. Adam and the team were so helpful even when the boxes didn’t fit the space they sorted us out with a solution pronto. Highly recommended!

Access Storage is well organised and…
Access Storage is well organised and obviously a very experienced service. The staff were very helpful when we were choosing the right size unit and patient with us.
We love the app with the codes it makes things much easier without having to remember more pin numbers.
We would definitely recommend Access Storage.

Spam called me 8 times in a week
Spam called me 8 times in a week, emailed me on top of this. When I eventually answered I said that I'm looking elsewhere because of the spam calling. The person who rang me said that it's just what they're required to do and said we aren't having this conversation and hung up halfway through my sentence. Think the managers need to have a serious rethink about how much they call potential customers, as it was completely unprofessional and they were unwilling to hear feedback.

Complete shambles
Contacted Access and clearly stated I was based in France and required storage for show stand equipment we had in the UK and everything was agreed for signature yesterday. Travelled over from France only to be told I needed a UK address for the contract. I was even asked if I had someone I could ask for the contract to be put in their name instead which is surely illegal and also immoral. Payment made by me for an account in someone elses name, how's that going to work to offset as a legitimate expense and what if there was ever a requirement for an insurance claim etc. Complete waste of time, very unhelpful and an expensive trip for nothing so thank you to the team from Access for all your help (Not)!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear about the misunderstanding that occurred during your reservation process, and I completely understand your frustration after traveling from France to set up your storage.
Regarding the issue with needing a UK address, I apologize if this wasn’t clearly communicated during your initial conversations. Our policy requires a UK address for contractual purposes, and while we sometimes suggest alternatives, I fully appreciate that this may not have aligned with your expectations or needs.
To clarify, it is indeed legal for another individual with the required identification to register the contract on your behalf, but I understand that this was not a suitable solution for you, and we respect your decision.

Rip off ! AVOID !!!!!
I would love to give this place a minus score, as they are complete $#%!
I rented a unit (they didn't give me the discount they'd promised on an email they had sent me!), I paid £10 deposit, first month payment of £60, but they refused to let me use it because i didnt have insurance, and they were going to charge me £25 insurance cover a month, without my permission! They were just going to withdraw it!! Insurance cover for storage units is not actually a legal requirement !! I gave them details of my insurance cover, but they refused to accept it !!! They have messed me around so much and caused me a lot of stress.
They are now only giving me back £53 of what i have paid so far, because i had 'hired the unit'..... a unit that THEY would not let me actually access !!!!! ""Access"" storage my ass !!!!!!
DO NOT USE!!!! Waste of time, money and stress !!!!! Complete #%$!!
Their building is obviously not safe or fit for purpose if every customer has to take out their £25 Insurance cover policy!

They charged what was not in contract
They charged me for not giving 7 days notice saying that it was included in my contract. When I showed that my contract didn’t include that clause they told me that they still will charge me as the had my card details.

Exemplary service. I have been absolutely delighted with the service I have received from Access Self storage. All the staff I have met have been extremely helpful and have gone out of their way to help. I am always greeted with a smile and would not hesitate to recommend service to others.

Still Awaiting Refund
Everything went fine with Access Southampton until I needed to terminate my agreement. I gave notice in the required way but apart from closing my online account so I could no longer check payments etc, nothing was done and Access continued taking money from my direct debit.
I've received many promises about refunds from staff at the store but have still received neither a refund nor my final statement of account nearly two months after my end of service date.
This is extremely poor and because of this I would not recommend this company.

Would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at Southampton for all their help. We rented a storage unit for a lengthy period and found both Stuart and Caitlin helpful for advice and also when needing to increase to a larger unit and now the time has come and we no longer need that extra storage space we have decided to close our account - Thanks and would recommend!!

STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND
It’s been over a month since I left this storage unit and I have still not been refunded for the weeks I did not use (you initially must pay for a month minimum with the contract saying you can get refunded for any unused weeks). The staff have promised me my refund multiple times but I am still waiting.

Double check your refunds
The staff are really lovely and helpful but both times I have used this company, I have had issues with being refunded either the wrong amount or just not at all. I just recommend double checking you are being charged the given quote and getting the right amount back:)
