Very disappointing experience with AC One. I ordered 2.5mm 3-core cable but received 1.5mm instead. I emailed them and received no reply. After a week, I called and was told by the automated system to leave my email and that they would contact me within 48 hours. I left my details on 29/06/2026 and still heard nothing.

I am also still waiting for trunking parts and gauge hoses ordered last month, with no clear delivery information. Every time I try to contact them by phone or email, there is only silence.

I understand businesses can be busy, but this level of communication is not acceptable. Customers need updates, especially when orders are wrong or delayed.

Sorry wish i had read previous review before ordering placed order on 30th June all showing in stock to then having to chase and get half the order with missing item. You may be a busy company with whats going on with the Weather but guess what so iam i dont have time to keep emailing and calling which they never answer anyway. AVOID shocking customer service after placing and order for tool's in the region of £1200 NEVER AGAIN will i use them or recommend

I strongly recommend avoiding AC-one.co.uk for expensive air conditioning purchases.
I purchased an air conditioning unit that was clearly shown as in stock on their website. I also provided the required F-Gas certificate during the payment process, exactly as requested.
Item was in stock and shown that delivery wihitn 1-3 business days. After four business days, I had received no delivery update, no dispatch confirmation, and no meaningful communication. I sent three emails asking for an update and received no response. I also called repeatedly, around 15 times in every day, but only received the same automated message saying they were too busy to respond by phone and that emails would be answered within 48 hours. That did not happen.
The main issue is not only the delay, but the complete lack of customer service after taking payment. When a company sells high-value items, basic communication is essential. In this case, there was none.
Thankfully, I paid using American Express and was able to recover my money through them. Without that protection, I would have been left waiting with no update and no response.
In my opinion, this is not a company I would trust for expensive purchases. It may be a legitimate business, but the service I experienced was extremely poor and unacceptable. My advice is simple: avoid buying from them, or at the very least only use a credit card with strong buyer protection.

Had to phone them 5x due to 3 separate incomplete orders.
Surprised no one called to let me know, also promised a callback with situation update but sadly nothing on 2 occasions.

Because i am an idiot i managed to order the wrong thing - an extension kit rather than a multikit - AC one within 2 days arranged to deliver the right thing and take away what i had erroneously ordered ! - amazing service!!!!

I’ve never come across customer service like this before — truly top‑level professionalism. My parcel arrived on time, but I realised it wasn’t what I wanted and returned it. Without knowing, my child had put a small toy in the box. I received my refund quickly, and later got a notification about a parcel on the way, which I assumed was just an update about the return.

To my surprise, the next day a parcel arrived — they had sent the toy back to me by next‑day delivery. The toy was worth maybe £1, and they still took the time and cost to return it, even though I had already been refunded and they made no profit from my order.

I couldn’t believe it. Such a thoughtful gesture and absolutely outstanding customer service. A big thank you — a really lovely surprise and a company that truly cares.
