I have recently had emergency dental treatment at The Baker Dental Street Clinic.
Appointments were very easy to make and I managed to get an appointment asap.
My dentist was Dr Antoaneta Mandajieve, I can honestly put my hand on my heart she’s the best dentist I have come across. Gentle, knowledgeable, experienced, reassuring, professional, the list goes on and on! I feel very lucky to have found her in my time of need! 100% would recommend to everyone.

I had my wisdom tooth taken out by Dr. Antoaneta and she was absolutely brilliant super calm, gentle, and made the whole thing way easier than I expected. The reception team were lovely too, really friendly and helpful. Felt totally looked after from start to finish. Definitely recommend.

Expert care from an amazing dental clinic.

A few weeks ago, I had a badly infected tooth and I was in a lot of pain. An appointment was made available for me to be seen by Dr Boulis. The reception team and the nurses were friendly. Dr. Boulis is professional and friendly, and he has never lost the care and compassion he has for his patients; he is still the same highly skilled, knowledgeable and brilliant dentist that treated me over 10 years ago. He explained every stage about my root canal treatment meticulously, and was sensitive to my pain. He ensured that I was comfortable and pain free. Thank you, Dr Boulis, for making me feel that I am important and that you care for me and my wellbeing. Thank you to your team too, who followed me up with a welfare telephone call to ensure that I had no problems following my treatment.

I was recommended Baker Street Dental clinic over 10 years ago, and I was seen by Dr Boulis who treated me with care and compassion then. Since that time, I’ve not had any problems with the teeth he treated (this is value for money); which made a big difference as previously I had some bad experiences from other dental surgeries. I’m so glad that I came into contact with this dental practice many years ago.

I had an extremely wonderful experience although I was in much pain. The front desk staff, specially Jamal was excellent and very helpful. Dr. Mandajieva was very professional, efficient and caring. Explained everything in detail. I will highly recommend this practice to one and all.

Broke my tooth in routine surgery, refused to compensate

Whilst suffering the most horrendous pain on a back molar the staff performed an extraction with the greatest of care. More than happy to recommend the 24/7 emergency Dentist with high praise for Amy Aziz who described my options & carried out the work in a caring professional manner. Claire the dental nurse was reassuring and caring in ensuring a relaxed atmosphere.Thank you so much.

It’s great that you can get a same day appointment, but completely unjustified costs in my opinion. I had some composite bonding come off one tooth during the night, so I booked an appt in london at Baker Street Dental, as I was going to be in london for the day. Theres a guide on their website of a cost between £125-£695, never would I have expected a single front tooth to be at the upper end of that. I simply could not justify £500 for one composite edging. I therefore lost my £50 for the appointment, so it was a complete waste of time and money to pay £50 for someone to say it costs £500 and then have to leave. I received a quotation from another practice in london that same day for £350, but they couldn’t fit me me in, so in the end I waited for an appointment and had it fixed locally outside of london for a quarter of that price.

Wasn’t really happy, I had my wisdom teeth cleaned and was charged excessively. It felt superfluous and it was a little bit pushy. The job done wasn’t great either and only increased my pain.

I was going to give them a 2* but after they viciously came after me for my google review and managed to get it deleted through got knows what back door loophole, I have decided to give them a 1*. They are scammers and just seek to overcharge make as much money as possible.

I was recently treated by Dr. Nikolaidis and, while I appreciate the swift scheduling of my appointment, I encountered a significant issue that raises concerns about patient care and attention to detail. Despite clearly indicating my allergy to penicillin on the pre-consultation form, Dr. Nikolaidis prescribed penicillin, which I fortunately noticed upon reading the medication instructions at home.

This oversight not only questions the purpose of completing pre-consultation forms but also highlights a worrying gap in patient safety protocols. It's fortunate that I detected the mistake before taking the medication, but this incident could have had severe consequences.

Further compounding the issue was the receptionist's handling of the situation. Upon contacting them to address this serious error, I merely requested a review of their processes and a prescription for an alternative non-penicillin medication. Unfortunately, their response was far from satisfactory and lacked the urgency and concern this matter warranted.

Additionally, the clinic's apparent focus on financial agreements prior to treatment, rather than on thorough and attentive patient care, was disappointing. It seems that profit maximisation takes precedence over genuine patient welfare.

Given these experiences, particularly the unprofessional conduct and lack of attention to crucial patient information, I have decided not to utilise Baker Street Dental services in the future. It is imperative for medical practices to prioritise patient safety and care above all else, and unfortunately, this was not my experience here. My advice: tread with care.

Really positive experience last month. Had a chipped tooth from a biking accident that needed immediate repair before an important family event. Emergency dentist Baker Street were responsive and professional!

I had a very infected root which started swelling on a Friday evening. I had tried to see my own dentist on Saturday but he could not see me until Weds! I was in excruciating pain! Sunday I booked an appt at Baker Street. Tooth was out in a flash! Turned out to be a nasty infection! Dentist and receptionist staff could not have been more sympathetic! Even had antibiotics on site so I didn't have to go searching for a pharmacy! Highly recommended. Thank you x

I highly recommend Baker Street Dental, all the staff are lovely and the service is brilliant.

As an emergency dentist, I could not have asked for more, my onlay broke having had root canal treatment elsewhere and I was dragging my feet getting the crown. I was seen by Dr Nikolaidis within 2 hours. Naturally he checked the tooth with x ray and then advised me of the cost for the treatment plan. I normally have private treatment and the prices were comparable. I did not have to wait for the preparation work for the crown it was done as part of the emergency appointment. Dr Nikolaidis made a temporary crown, and the fit around the tooth was perfect. I went to the lab to meet the technician to agree the crown the crown looks like my real tooth, it’s better than any crown I had before. Dr Nikolaidis fitted the crown and cheap crown’s don’t do the same job protecting the tooth as I have learned from experience. Thank you Dr Nikolaidis, the Dr that did the treatment you crowned will be impressed.

Dr Godwin was incredibly professional, calm and efficient removing one of my wisdom teeth. He made me feel safe and reassured. The reception team was also very kind and welcoming.
