We were the first formation agent to offer all our address users a free document scanning service. Furthermore, we are the only address service provider to offer an online document storage system allowing clients to access all the post we have scanned for them as and when they need to. This saves our clients a lot of time searching through their emails to find their post. Our TRANSPARENT PRICING lets clients predict how much we will charge for ongoing services. In addition to company formations, we have developed expertise in two other services, namely; COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANIES (CIC): We register hundreds of Community Interest Companies every year and have been doing so for many years. We know the registration system inside out and can complete the process quickly and efficiently. Our charges for this service are lower than the fees typically charged by accountants and solicitors. In fact, many of our CIC orders come from professionals. ADMINISTRATIVE COMPANY RESTORATIONS: We have developed expertise in restoring companies struck off by Companies House. We act quickly and efficiently and keep clients informed at all process stages. Our fees are modest and transparent. We process several hundred restorations annually and frequently do so on behalf of accountants and solicitors. SOCIAL ENTERPRISES AND CHARITIES: We have several options for companies limited by guarantees. The possibilities range from companies that clubs and associations can use to company structures suitable for future use as charities. We also have a close association with a small accountancy practice that specialises in charity accounting and, because of their experience as trustees to several charities, can advise on the creation of a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) NON-UK RESIDENT CLIENTS: Our scanning and document storage and filing system makes our service particularly useful to non-UK resident clients. No charge for getting post; it's all included in the subscription. Waste of time and money! Total failure!
I have applied to a New Company Registration for Non-UK Residents at November 18, 2024. It's been a total failure! Waste of time & money! I have received an email from their support team after my application, they have requested ID Proof (which I provided by passport copy) and an address proof. And that's where the story begins, I have got a family summer house in Turkey where I live mostly and I have applied to the company registration with that address. I have also shared my Water Bill on that address to the 1st Choice Formations due to their exact request. Support team refused the acknowledge of this Water Bill because it was not a formal document and it was not in English. I didn't know a strictly formal address proof documentation is necessary on the company application; my formal address in Turkey is at my Winter house, it's a different address. Then I forwarded this formal proof of address at my winter house and asked them to update everything. Mentioned document was downloaded from the Turkish government website. However, support team indicated that it's also unacceptable because it's not in English. They emailed that the document should be with a translator signature, stamp and notarized by a solicitor!! Which I also did today on 23 December, 2024; with spending an extra 100 Euros to the translator and to the notarized solicitor! Now I received this total nonsense that they have '' updated '' my address now. However, payment gateway was done with the other address and they still need to see a valid proof of residence over there. Nothing but a total waste of time and efforts! I have just sent them an email to cancel my order, I will be waiting for their refund and we will see how this would go..

I am sorry to learn that you are not happy with our ID and KYC verification process. Your fees have been refunded in full this morning.
To better understand your complaint, I have reviewed your application and noted the following:
-Your application was made on the 18th of December, not the 18th of November, as you state in your review. I make this point to highlight that this was not a protracted process (especially considering that the time period includes a weekend).
-When you paid for your order, you stated that you gave us your home address. You then gave us another address as your home address.
-I understand you have several addresses. However, I do not know why you could not supply one official home address. I believe that in Turkey, all residents have an official address registered with the Population and Citizenship Directorate and a tax identification number registered to that address. This is the address I expect applicants from Turkey to give. It is official and easy to prove.
-Forming a company in the UK is an official, legal process, and, unfortunately for us (and all other UK company formation agents), we have to ensure that the paperwork our clients supply is correct.
-Furthermore, a risk assessment of each client's application is inherent in the AML (Anti Money Laundering ) and KYC (Know your client) processes with which we must comply. Offering several addresses to us as a home address does not help that risk assessment. It results in us being obliged to ask more questions.
-You stated in your emails that the purpose of your application was to form a UK company with which to register a leisure boat. We have a working relationship with a prominent Yacht registration company that offers this service to clients. If you send us a request by email, we would happily put you in touch with them. They are professional and highly regarded.
