Bought two phones by them, delivery to Europe takes long (they write as much on the website),
But there are no custom charges (as there is with other exporters).
They once helped me by email for a technical issue, never had a faulty item so wouldn't really know their after sales service.

I have had a very bad experience buying a cell phone from 1949deal. I pre-ordered the Ulephone 2 when it came out. There was quite a long delay in delivery as they were backed up with the pre orders. The phone started to give me problems after a few weeks. Part of the screen was not working. It was a pain, but, I could work around it. When I was coming back to Canada from a trip to Europe the microphone on the phone decided to stop working when I tried to call home to get a lift from the airport! It finally started working again, but, it became more and more unreliable. A phone without a reliable microphone is not much use. Also the finger print sensor stopped working. I decided to ship it back to China for repair. 50$ later and about 6 weeks for delivery, I was informed that it would cost me 46$ to repair the phone screen. No mention of the microphone. When I asked why it was not under warrant, they replied that I was responsible for the damage to the screen because there was a scratch on the back of the phone!!! I will never buy a phone again direct from China it is just to much of a risk that you will get bad phone with zero after sales support.

Nada recomendable. Sólo tienes garantía de un año en los productos y 3 meses en las reparaciones. Si tienes algún problema con tu equipo te quedas dos meses sin él porque lo tienes que enviar a China. Luego siempre te ponen pegas porque te dicen que no entra en garantia y te hacen pagar la reparación encima. No lo recomiendo.

by the way, i'm hesitating to buy letv 1s for a gift. it's in lower price than many sites i know but i should save money to buy it. hope the price will not increase so qiuck...

The store is very cool. I made many orders on 1949deal. I always pay by PayPal and I haven't any problems. Shipping is very fast by Netherlands post. Prices are smaller than on other chinese web-store

Terrible experience with 1949deal, phone was faulty within weeks, Audrey in support was no help, eventually sent the phone back to be fixed as my own cost and they couldn't even be bothered to receive it or collect it. Don't use this site not worth the money yo think you are saving. Will give you nothing but stress and frustration. Australia buyer.

I bought a phone from this company and it soon became apparent that it was defective. I contacted them three times but received no response. At that time I contacted PayPal, and very shortly afterward I received a response. I was asking for a refund for the defective product, and a postage paid label to send it back to them. They refuse to pay the shipping, and the best offer I have from them is for me to pay the return postage and they will give me a discount on another phone. There is no way I will ever buy anything from them again. The only time they respond to me is when I go through PayPal, and their customer service is very poor.

I ordered two phones, they sent only one. the space of two months, I'm trying to recover my money from them for undelivered phone. I think this website should be marked as dangerous. Clearly they are trying to cheat buyers. I warn all against any purchases on the website 1949deal.com

A ce jour, je n'ai toujours rien reçu.
Malgré 25 mails, 1949deal ne veut pas me rembourser le prix de la tablette.

Ho acquistato uno smartphone e quando è arrivato, la confezione non era sigillata: infatti sullo schermo c'era un evidente difetto di fabbrica. Li ho contattati attraverso il sito e sono stato totalmente ignorato. Ho aperto un reclamo attraverso paypal e finalmente mi hanno risposto che loro aprono i telefoni per provarli prima di inviarli. Premesso che è una evidente scusa: perché provare un teléfono sigillato dalla fabbrica? (secondo loro in fabbrica non vengono testati...).
Ho dovuto inviare diverse mail, tutte in inglese, per richiedere l'indirizzo di spedizione ma non me lo volevano mandare finché non chiudessi il reclamo paypal. Orbene, un reclamo chiuso toglie l'opportunità di essere riaperto e si perde quindi qualsiasi garanzia. Alla fine mi hanno mandato dopo diveri giorni, l'indirizzo a cui ho rispedito, a mie spese, il pacco.
È evidente che non ci si può fidare di chi invia prodotti difettosi e usati, cerca in tutti i modi di toglierti l'opportunità di avere una garanzia e inganna inventando scuse inverosimili. Assolutamente da evitare.
Naturalmente sono in attesa del rimborso e tra breve sarò costretto a trasformere il reclamo in contestazione. Se non avessi acquistato con paypal mi avrebbero totalmente ignorato

Bought a phone and paid the fast delivery with DHL. One day , two days three days five days and the order was still processing. Then I asked what was going on and they said they were "testing" the phone and that they would sent next day. That turned out not to be true as I later found out when they admitted it was pre sale! But of course this was my fault according to 1949deal because I had "misread" I was pretty annoyed by that moment seven days had gone by already. So I asked them to send a different one that they actually had in stock. In the end they did send it 12 days later but it was a lot of waisted of time

Bought a waterproof rugged phone from them. First time it got wet it malfunctioned, they blamed me and offered to sell me another phone for 50% off. At this point I assume it's a knock off but I'll find that out when I get in contact with the manufacturer. Scammers.

I do not recomend to buy anything here. I ordered a phone and 6 months after I have neither the phone nor my money refund. The phone was sent back to them because I had custom office problems and they say that they did not get the phone back. Although the tracking of the package says that the phone was given to the sender.

They don't actually have the phone I ordered, nor do they know when they will have it to send despite having a stack of outstanding orders, and now they've recorded this as refunded but I don't actually have a refund in paypal, so a dispute is now open. I've reordered from a proper company, but would recommend you avoid this incompetent or malicious company like the plague.

A few months back I bought a Jiayu S3 from them and took into account that the phone might be delayed. I then waited weeks after the longest possible delivery time had passed and got no reply from them. Eventually I got a reply saying they had not sent it yet, then a few weeks later I asked for a refund but instead got offered a 4gb micro sd card with it for free as compensation. Considering they are worthless, I said no and asked for a refund again. Eventually I did get a refund some day after checking the delivery status and seeing it still had not shipped. That was a complete waste of time and I do not want to ever have to buy from here again.

I paid in october $105 for a phone.
I don't got it, they won't send another one or refund they just said I have to wait longer.
Now they say: We can give you a discount.
Well I paid $105 so the discount can be around $90 ? NO, they gave me 3$ discount.
This is a scamsite, the tracking code was never trackable.
