Workhouse England is a menswear label based in Bury St Edmunds, dedicated to making high-quality clothing entirely in England. Every piece is designed in our studio here, then manufactured by skilled hands across England, using traditional skill that's becoming rare in modern fashion. We work in small batches with handmade construction rather than mass-produced overseas runs. It's an approach rooted in honesty: clothes built to last, made by people who actually understand cloth. Material is at the heart of everything we do. The collection is built from substantial natural fabrics: heavyweight linen, waxed cotton, soft chambray, and Japanese indigo-dyed cotton. We choose them for how they age and improve with wear, not for how they look on day one. These are the same fibres and finishes that historically defined British workwear, tough and breathable, the kind of materials that soften and develop character over years of use rather than wearing out after a season. Every design starts in our studio in Bury St Edmunds and is then made in England, with over 30 years of experience behind that process. It's a relationship built on patience and skill rather than speed, with artisans across the country who've spent decades perfecting their craft. That kind of knowledge doesn't come from a factory line, it comes from years of hands-on experience, and it shows in the weight, fit, and finish of every garment we produce. We also believe in a personal, one to one experience for every customer, whether you're around the corner or on the other side of the world. We ship worldwide from our Suffolk studio, bringing genuinely made-in-England menswear to customers wherever they are, and we're always happy to talk sizing, fabric, or anything else before you buy.

Best I Know by long shot.

I love these guys, been buying clothing from them for going on 5 years and I have no reason to stop. You need to consider your measurements but all clothing is made to fit standard. Also worth going out your way to visit their shop. The detail and material used goes such a long way. Its built to last and I am proof of that. I still have clothing from them from 5 years ago and trust me, they have been around the world and back. In the gardens, the mud, the sun, the snow, the city, its more than hybrid and half if its magic comes from its quality matterial source, being natural it can breath, and keep you warm so it works for a wide environment range. Even the inside seams, places you can't see directly, it's all had time and thought before the final finish. Reccomend for work, leasure and even sport , depending on what you get exactly. It's all comfortable and you can move well in it. Enjoy guys. They are independent and you are saving money when it's build to last and healthy on your skin. You don't need to buy something again for years so actually it's cheaper than the shit you get from chain companies. And they will never take the time these guys do for the final result.

Iggi is an enthusiast, he loves the joy of good cloth, classic cuts and sharing. Honestly, he makes clothes that just make sense and let your heart shine, a divine interplay of form and function for practicality, comfort and tonic.
