I ordered a item through Wolt as a gift, but when we opened it in the evening, it had multiple defects. The lid was loose and crooked, the design did not align properly, and there were visible marks/imperfections on the lighter itself. The product was clearly defective from the moment it arrived.
I immediately contacted support and explained the situation, providing photos. At first, I was told that the return could be arranged later when I was back at the address. At the same time, I was refused a return pickup to the address where I was actually located at that moment, even though I clearly provided my current location. I was not refusing to return the item — I was simply asking for a reasonable solution, as I could not adjust my schedule to their exact conditions.
The next day, support suddenly changed their position and informed me that since the item was not returned yesterday, it was now “no longer possible” to process a refund or replacement, and that I would just have to keep the defective product.
This makes no sense. The defect was caused by the seller, not by me. A customer should not lose their right to a refund just because they were unavailable for a few hours or unable to immediately meet a courier. Support kept apologizing, but no real solution was provided.
In the end, this means that on this platform you can receive a defective product, pay for it, and then be denied both a refund and a replacement. Extremely disappointing experience and very poor handling of defective items.

We are leaving this review as a seller to highlight a serious and ongoing issue with the rating and support system.
We consistently fulfill orders exactly according to the photos and descriptions provided on the platform. In many cases, we even add extra value (more flowers, improved presentation) to ensure higher quality than expected.
Despite this, we continue to receive unjustified negative ratings without any clear explanation or verified reason. At the same time, sellers are not allowed to contact customers to clarify issues or correct misunderstandings regarding ratings.
This creates a fundamentally unfair system where ratings can be left without accountability, while sellers are left with no real protection or ability to defend the quality of their work.
Even more concerning is the lack of meaningful support for sellers. In disputes like these, the platform consistently appears to side with customers by default, without properly investigating the actual situation.
As a result, trust in the rating system is significantly undermined. For small businesses relying on fair and transparent feedback, this becomes a serious operational problem.
If this approach continues, it will make long-term cooperation with the platform very difficult.
We strongly hope the platform will introduce a fairer and more balanced review system where both customers and sellers are properly heard and protected.

It's ok, I don't think I had any major problem with it's deliveries or payments. By far the biggest problem with it is lack of moderation for the restaurants, making it easy to register a ghost kitchen pretending to be a big-name chain establishment and then send junk to people, Got burned by one a second time just now. Support is a bit robotic following the script regardless of what you say, but they do resolve most of the issues eventually

Every time I order, something goes wrong either the order arrives incorrect or gets rejected. But the real problem is the payment system…
If you pay using Apple Pay and your order gets rejected, they still take the money, then send you an email saying “don’t worry, it wasn’t deducted from your bank”… while it literally is 💀
It just feels unorganized and unreliable. Ordering food should be simple, not stressful. Definitely needs improvement.

I would not advise anyone to register and cooperate with wolt Georgia! We had a terrible experience working with them. The thing is that if a customer complains, they will refund the full amount at your expense, regardless of whether you agree or not, regardless of whether you know for sure that the delivery damaged the product you sent. In most cases, the customer receives the full amount and no one returns the product to you. Imagine that a customer writes you 1 star, this destroys your reputation, you have lost trust, in addition, he keeps the product. You have paid money and worked hard to deliver it to the customer, and now what? It was damaged during delivery or an unscrupulous customer is lying. You lose the product that no one will return, they write you 1 point that you cannot change. Volt simply contacts you, sends you pictures of the damaged product, and asks you to voluntarily agree to a full refund, and if you refuse, they will still return it and tell you that they have no other choice because the product is damaged, and if you have a problem, you can write to Volt Sports and complain.
Disciriination by nationality and place of birth
Wolt blocked my account based on nationality - and support is ignoring me.
I live in Georgia and Wolt operates here normally (couriers on the streets, ads in the city). I registered with a Georgian mobile phone number.
After signing up, I was asked to connect Facebook. As soon as they saw my nationality on my Facebook profile, my access was blocked.
I explained that I haven’t lived in Russia for over 10 years and I’m not a resident of Russia, but support has not replied at all.
This is 100% discrimination based on nationality and a complete lack of customer service. I do not recommend Wolt, hopefully they will be blocked by google or receive a huge fine for violation of the law
If you share a home with anyone, Wolt's broken algorithm might label you a fraudster
I am absolutely furious and disgusted by Wolt's treatment. On my VERY FIRST purchase attempt, my account was instantly and permanently blocked. Their "automated security system" falsely flagged me for having multiple accounts.
The "support" is a joke—they just send robotic, copy-pasted messages, admitting they have zero insight or power to review or reverse the decision. No warning, no verification, no human review. Just a lifetime ban at the first click.
The probable cause? My roommate and I, who have separate phones, separate bank cards, and separate identities, simply share an apartment and Wi-Fi in Georgia. That's it. According to Wolt, living with someone is a high crime.
So, if you live with family, friends, or a partner, Wolt's broken algorithm might decide you're a fraudster and ban you forever without a shred of evidence or a chance to appeal. Your money and loyalty mean nothing.
Now I will never be able to use this service and I don’t advise you to do so either.

How I got SCAMMED by Wolt
Hi, i've been Wolt's customer for a long long time now, but have NEVER encountered such a terrible service EVER.
On December 13, I placed an order from WrapMaster in Tbilisi, waited nearly an hour, and then received a false notification stating the order was delivered when it was not. Only after contacting support was I told the order had been canceled due to a courier issue, with no communication in advance or clear explanation until I asked ten times about it. I was denied both a replacement order and immediate refund and was told the same issue could happen again. Three days later, on December 16, support falsely claimed my refund was already processed; after my bank confirmed it wasn’t, I was told the refund had just been issued, requiring me to wait several more days. Attempts to speak with a manager were ignored, and template responses were repeatedly sent instead. Overall, I was misinformed, delayed, lied to, and received no compensation, timely refund, or adequate customer support, an experience far below acceptable standards. Now, nearly a week later I have still not received my refund. I also contacted Wolt global, no response. I went to the live chat today - they're ignoring my questions. Idk how this sits within their company standards, I will be filing a serious complaint on this matter.

Protects Incompetent Restaurants Over Customers
Ordered food with multiple paid extras. None were provided. I have photo evidence proving this.
Wolt's support denied responsibility despite clear proof. They protected the restaurant's false claims and made excuses. After much back-and-forth filled with emojis and "we're waiting for the venue," they only offered a partial refund when I said I would pursue a bank chargeback.
The restaurant sent completely unlabeled packages, which caused confusion and affected multiple customers that evening. When I provided evidence of missing paid items, they denied everything. Wolt chose to protect them rather than the customer with documentation.
Even after finally agreeing to refund, Wolt withheld part of the amount with no explanation and then closed my support conversation when I asked about it. They also refused to answer whether the restaurant had actually agreed to the refund, despite earlier asking me to wait while they checked with the restaurant about that very question.
Their customer service does not seem to genuinely care about its customers, instead contradicting itself constantly and hiding behind vague "policies" to avoid accountability while attempting to make it appear like the opposite.

Wolt in Georgia at Batumi is a real scam.
I order, I'm debited, then I'm told that the payment failed. I contact support with proof that I've been debited and I'm told that a refund has been sent to my bank, when this is false, simply false. I wasted an hour of my time, but the thieves refused to deliver and refund me.
These are unspeakable practices, and I have notified the GCCA to obtain compensation for the damage suffered, but no news to date.
I'm disgusted with Wolt, so my advice is to avoid doing business with these thieves at all costs, or it will cost you.
At least you've been warned.
Quality worse than bad
Sadly, they are bunch of scammers not knowing how to work they job.
If anything - they'll find any excuse not to refund you money or even make you ignore problems, like, products going missing, couriers talking trash, etc.
If you care about your time and your money - definitely do not use this service.
If at any point you'll manage to get a refund - you are still not getting back your actual money, you'll get some stupid in-app points, that is CLEARLY NOT MONEY that humans use in their society.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Wolt. I placed a prepaid order and expected it to be delivered to my door — as clearly stated in the service description. However, the courier refused to come upstairs, even though the entrance and elevator were open and accessible. He told me in advance that he wouldn’t come up, with no valid reason.
As a result, I received nothing. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 days to get my money back, and no one will return the time I wasted.
Customer support was completely unhelpful — they offered no real solution or compensation, just a standard response about the refund process. I, as the customer, am left without my order and without the ability to place a new one until my money is returned.
I do not recommend using this delivery service.
