Horrible company
Horrible company. It feels like driving with big brother constantly watching you. Occasionaly when overtaking a car you need to go slightly over the limit to quickly and safely overtake. Yet do this with Stella and they will cancel your policy and charge you for their admin fee. Just a cash making Artificial Intelligence company. They make more money by finding a reason to cancel your policy.

Cheapest online for my work van even cheaper when I phoned. Web chat is easy to access and the support was quick to resolve a problem. My only one gripe is I got constant phone calls from approx 1 month to when my policy was due to renew. When your working I have to check my phone and answer some. This really annoys me.
Frustrating, lazy, and unhelpful service team
Hands down, the most frustrating, lazy, and unhelpful customer service I have ever come across. The staff give no real service, all you can hear is background noise of others laughing and shouting in the office, and just overall not good.
Lack of training, constantly being put on long holds, and not giving key information like monthly payments, and not doing the whole changes and them blaming you when they don’t deliver on the changes as they forgot to make all the required changes.
Edit: The manager rang, apologised, and escalated a complaint for me. Manager has held herself to a really high standard and I’ll give them credit for that.
DO NOT USE- Charged us £140 for “admin fees” will try and rip you off out of as much money as they can while you’re with them.
Charged us £65 to change our address, then never changed our address on the system!!
Edit- they’ve now cancelled our insurance 4 days before it was due to lapse, claiming that we were driving too fast (despite not getting a ticket or anything), and charging us ANOTHER £75 for administrative fees. Seem to me to be a last minute attempt to claw as MUCH money as possible from us, since they knew we had no intention to renew. I’ve ever known anything like it.

As far as insurance companies go this one seems ok but I haven't had to make a claim and hope I don't need too.Otherwise all my correspondence and emails,messages etc have run smoothly

Unfortunately the cost of owning a car is too much as with most things these days. So I'm on the push bike from now on.

Avoid #farud by #stella #withstellauk. I just got rid of this scammer. I used the car occasionally for trips. Two days a week. They decided that two days away from home out of seven is 50% and that I had to pay an extra £300 or £360, as far as I remember. But after long discussions and proving that it wasn't 50%, they let it go. After all, I bought it to drive, not to stand in the driveway. Some time passed, and again they threatened to terminate the contract. Because 2-7 = 50%. Again, I explained to them that according to earthly mathematics, that's nonsense. From the very beginning, they kept calling me like a jealous wife, asking where I was and why the car wasn't parked outside the house on the weekend. Finally, when I started the contract with them after the accident, I had preliminary confirmation for 9NCB. After a month, when it became clear that it wasn't my fault, I got 10NCB. And at the end of the contract, I get an offer to renew the contract from 600 to 980 and 9NCB. So they didn't even recognize a year of insurance with them! I got pissed off and found insurance with all the extras for 560. I used the certificate from my previous insurer. 10 years. I took the tracker to the post office, took a photo with the return address and sent it to them via server. With a note that the shitty device is on its way and not to send me a bill for another £40 for not returning it. Today I get an email, NCB 11 years. Great. I wrote to my current insurer. But they are offering to terminate the contract and give me back the £40 termination fee when I take out a new one. I fill out the form and, well, my insurance goes from £560 to £780 starting tomorrow. So it doesn't make sense for me. Either I'll manage to negotiate recognition of this year and an addendum at the end of the year, or I'll just tell them to get lost. The most important thing is that I got rid of those scammers With Stella UK or #stellainshurance. Because they can't even decide what to call themselves.

i am a current customer, not a happy one
i am a current customer, i would not recommend this company to anyone. while I am still on holiday abroad, i received an email from them threatening to cancel my policy due to the no data has been received from their telematics device. the UK number they provided was never reachable, i managed to use the messaging service which they asked me to provide ''proof'' showing i am away from the UK. I have no problem proving it and because i don't want my policy being cancelled i did provide my travelling details.
Isn't it their job to provide proof that i am guilty ? but instead they asked me to prove my innocent.
stella simply isn't qualified as an insurance provider. stay away

Not recommend this type of insurance. Think twice, read carefully and REMEMBER the cancellation policy. My personal view this is a pure rip off.

Today I had a very eventful communication with a agent from freedom finance, the lady at first was possibly in a bad mood ,which I understand as we all do, but after I realize her approach I told her in the nicest way how to show patience to people who are suffering from mental illness, from the moment I said it, she was so apologetic and the entire communication atmosphere was change in a more caring manner, I thank her for her change and she in return wish me well, this is not no way of showing Fredom finance on a negative view or even the lovely agent , it only shows how we approach certain things in life we can get the outcome we desired, and to Freedom Fianance please do carry on your great amazing works you do and keep your agents highly trained Moreso on mental health awareness, and for the lady who was so easy to fix her treatment I say thank you for listening to me and thank you for recognising and fixing the situation, with such a lovely name as HOPE ,please do carry on living up to to your name as its beautiful name suited for you. Thank you Freedom Fianance and thank you HOPE.

Horrible insurance company to work with...keep on asking about extra money by making different lame excuses after I had paid the full money for my car insurance. Definitely will not recommend absolute horrible experience.

I had bad experience with Stellar Insurance, after collecting my money monthly they still went ahead to cancel my insurance after explaining to them what is happening to my car. I would never recommend anybody to use them.
