I’ve been running a Vintage Story server for a while now, and finding the right host felt like searching for something that just… cared. Most places treat you like a ticket number and a recurring charge. This one doesn’t. From the first time I opened a support ticket, the difference was obvious. The replies weren’t copy-pasted scripts. They were patient, kind, and genuinely interested in making sure my little world kept running. Whether it was a small config question or something that had me stressed at 2 a.m., they showed up. No attitude. No rush to close the ticket. Just real help, given with a level of kindness that honestly caught me off guard. It doesn’t feel like customer support. It feels like talking to people who are part of the same team. Like family, even. You open a ticket and you’re not bracing for the usual corporate wall you’re talking to humans who treat you like one too. They explain things clearly, they’re transparent about what’s going on, and they never make you feel like you’re wasting their time or that your server only matters because of the money. And the price? It’s almost unfair how good it is for what you get. Solid performance for Vintage Story, reliable uptime, and that kind of support… most places would charge a lot more and still leave you feeling like just another account. Here you feel looked after. I don’t usually write reviews. But this place earned one. If you’re looking for somewhere that treats your server (and you) with actual care instead of just taking the payment and vanishing, this is it. Feels rare these days. Grateful I found them.

I'm new to hosting a server like this and was having a little trouble with some of the finer aspects of setting up my rig for my friends, I reached out to their service team and a Darius came and made it super easy to understand and eventually took over when I wasn't getting it. I'd reccomend the site to my friends if they ever were looking to host.

Customer service through discord was fast and amazing. Plus no scummy advertising you get what you pay for. They helped me setup a game server for something that wasn't on the easy install list yet! WinterNode is my new go to for anything server related.

Good pricing for RAM, excellent for friend servers. The staff are great, very quick to help and answer questions.

Winternode is genuinely amazing! I bought a server a bit ago then had to go on a mental break from everything. I had already paid for a month of my $19 server. I opened a ticket and wanted to see if I could get some sort of refund since I couldn't use my server. They did! They issues me $10 in credits which went toward my new 5GB server.

I love there good prices and reliable servers but most of all i love how much the staff are ready and willing to help when people need it. hell they even dug throu my logs to help figure out what mod might of been giving me a fit. 10/10 would rent again from winternode

We had a good time using their servers for Vintage Story. They were always very helpful and quick to answer questions which I had a lot as a first time hoster.

I really liked that I was able to manage the entire server from a browser. It meant I didn't have to be at home monitoring everything all the time. I could log into the client from my phone while I was out and about to run server commands or restart the server as needed. The price was okay, but a little on the higher end. I think it was ultimately worth it because the server only had one period of outage over the course of two months. If the cost was able to drop a little while maintaining the quality I had, it would make the service the best available in my opinion.

The server manager is super easy to use and figure out. I would definitely use this service again in the future.
