We have just returned home from a wonderful stay in Bob’s Lodge, Winchcombe farm with our grand daughter.
The lodge is beautifully designed, the décor fresh and clean and it is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The welcome pack with flowers, fruit, coffee, milk and delicious cake was more than generous.
We toasted marshmallows in the barbecue hut, swung from hammocks, slid down a slide into the garden, played giant jenga, and best of all we had storytime each evening under the stars in the geodesic dome. It became our Secret Seven den with a different password to gain admittance each day.
The first job in the morning was to feed Queenie and Stan the ponies and to say hello to the alpacas.
We made memories to last a lifetime.

Lovely clean place with everything you needed for a lovely weekend, great location too.

Only things that need improving as follows,
1) needs to be a family bathroom so guests don’t have to access through both bedrooms
2) water pressure terrible and not hot enough to run a bath
3) two bath tubs in main bedroom is a waste of space, they are too deep & take too long to fill to even get enough to just sit in and by the time you have any water in it’s just Luke warm, we had to boil the kettle to fill the bath a little to enable granddaughters to get in and 3 year olds don’t need much water! It would be better to just have one and have a king size bed as bed was far too small and felt too soft for a decent nights sleep but perhaps that was the lovely topper and that’s personal choice I guess! But I’m only petite & 5’3 and the bed was just too small, so two night with no sleep!

Amazing place for young families! We stayed in the Chicken Shed which is the perfect size for our family. Plenty outdoor space for our little one to explore. The hot tub and glass dome are definitely our favorite - just what you need after a long day. It was our first time staying in a farm and we Abi loved it! Jo and the whole Winchcombe Farm team are super helpful and friendly. Definitely will come back again!

We recently stayed in Bob's Lodge to celebrate a birthday and retirement. Winchcombe Farm is an absolutely amazing place and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. The lodge was beautiful and the children spent hours playing on the slide and feeding the horses. It was so peaceful and private despite there being a number of other lodges on site.
We are lovely pub meals close by and the surrounding villages are worth visiting as really pretty.
We arrived to fantastic balloons, a birthday banner and delicious birthday cupcakes which was a lovely welcome.
Oh and last but not least the dome! Going to bed each night with the children and being able to see the moon then waking to the sunrise has given us all memories we will never forget.

Wonderful location, lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble and amazing attention to detail. Everything had been thought of from the complementary grounds coffee for the machine to the birthday banners. Highly recommended

A return visit for us to Jess's Bach. Fabulous location, very peaceful, excellent accommodation and great hosts that really do look after their guests.

I went with some friends to celebrate our 40th birthdays and had the best time ever! We stayed in Bobs Lodge and it was just perfect. The owner knew it was a birthday celebration and organised a banner and cakes for our arrival. The place was immaculate with everything you would want for a stay away from home.

An incredible stay, we loved it and will be back. The facilities are fantastic, there is everything you need. Friendly staff and lovely welcome

We all had such an amazing time at Bob's Lodge; fun & relaxation!
A lot of firsts for our family; 1st time in a triple hammock, 1st time in a star gazing pod, 1st time sliding into the garden, 1st outside shower, 1st pizza oven, 1st BBQ hut,1st time seeing ponies, cows & sheep from a hot tub!
Bob's Lodge has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay.
The cake on arrival was a lovely touch.
The children loved seeing the ponies, which were right outside our front door. They also enjoyed stroking the cat!
We would definitely recommend a stay in Bob's Lodge.

Our stay in Bob's Lodge was wonderful right from the beginning. The place is so quiet and relaxing, being in the middle of the countryside, but has all the luxuries you'd want for a comfortable stay. And more actually, including a lovely hot tub, brilliant BBQ hut and pizza oven. And a kitchen kitted out with everything you need to make life easier, from a dishwasher to a lovely Smeg coffee machine.
If, like me, you like to organise things ahead of the stay, Winchcombe Farm website has all the information you need - where to eat and visit, what walks to go on, what local amenities and services you can take advantage of. Brilliant for when you want to organise a special birthday celebration - which we did. The whole group (6 of us) would definitely stay again. And the cherry on the top - such friendly and welcoming hosts.

Winchcombe Farm was the perfect location for our girly catch up celebrating a special birthday. Bob's Lodge had great space for all of us and we didn't feel that we got on top of each other. We enjoyed the outside BBQ, pizza oven and star watching in the dome. The animals onsite add a lovely extra touch to our stay as they're adorable. Jo and her team were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble even going above and beyond to make our friend who's in a wheelchair feel comfortable.
I can most certainly recommend staying at Winchcombe Farm and I'll be going back again!

Had the best weekend in Bob's Lodge accommodation immaculate with fresh flowers . Our host Jo was so lovely introducing us to all the animals fell in love with Stan the pony whos very vocal ♥️ the sleep pod at the lodge great for star gazing . It's so quiet and peaceful there can't wait to go back ! Thanks Jo for a great weekend 😊

Fantastic rural retreat. Beautiful scenery. Great responsive hosts - even gave me some free washing powder. Hot tub perfect. Fire pit with wood and fire starters. Lovely clean property. Perfect for a girls weekend away. Working farm with alpacas! Lovely walks into town. Definitely a top 10 visit.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Location was stunning and accommodation was beautiful. Hosts couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely recommend.

I booked Winchcombe Farm holidays for my husbands surprise 40th birthday. We had a truly fantastic time.
The accommodation was faultless, it was spotlessly clean, modern appliances and really comfortable. The addition of the hot tub, pizza oven, bbq, geo dome and slide for the kids made it all extra special. We had such a wonderful time we didn’t want to leave. Seeing all the animals right on your doorstep was magical and our two boys loved it.

Jo added some extra touches to make my husbands birthday a special one. Jo was also great in recommending some great local suppliers so I could organise things at our lodge.

We will definitely be back and we miss it already!

Amazing country farm lodging run by a married couple. Communication was great - initially I booked a lodge for my birthday, but then Covid hit and they offered to refund me until I was ready to book again. I was going to book right after Covid but there were city to city restrictions, so they discussed what would be the best options for me. I booked a cute lodge for me plus 5 friends and family, to spend a few days in the summer. The lady was really helpful with giving directions and instructions of how to get into the lodge. She even met us when we arrived and had a chat with us. The surroundings are farmland, a large pond and some alpacas or llamas, not sure which. The lodgings are really quaint and unusual, I've never seen anything like it, which is what drew me. There was a dome on a raised terrace, which meant we could sleep under the stars and this was surprisingly warm, but they supplied a heater just in case. There was a lovely dining and living area, decent sized kitchen, 2 large bedrooms with baths in and a cubby with 2 single beds. A cot was supplied on request and the single beds also had child guards. The welcome gift was some quality teabags, cake and a box of fresh farmed apples. The fridge and freezer were a good size to fit all of our stuff in and the kitchen had all of the equipment we needed, including a dishwasher. There was also a washing machine, iron, coffee machine and kettle. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the outdoor firepit, which was in an outbuilding (good thing too, because it rained), then there was an outdoor pizza oven. It was the perfect break and the couple allowed us to extend the checkout by an hour or so. I would definitely book again for a special break or occasion.

Winchcombe Farm is a lovely place to retreat from the business of the city! It's quiet, peaceful and set in a beautiful surrounding. We stayed in Ben's Burrow, which was perfect for our family! The lodge was immaculate and had most items needed in an accommodation. They provided a travel cot and a highchair, which was great! The land and outdoor facilities that came with the lodge was amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub, which is located in a private area and the dome was a nice place to chill and admire the natural surroundings. Jo and Steve were fantastic hosts! They were very accommodating and responded to our requests very quickly and in very friendly manner! I would highly recommend anyone to stay at Winchcombe Farm. You will not be disappointed!
