A positive review with a twist!
A slightly strange positive review, in that I wasn't able to take a tenancy after referencing, and I did have what might be fairly described as a disagreement over the next steps after that.
What I can say though is Kevin's resolution was entirely fair, and he kept me in the loop with both his arguments, and a resolution.
Shame it couldn't work out longer term but it was handled very well by WHPC. All the best for the future.

The room was lovely—clean, comfortable, and very well presented. Any issues I had were dealt with quickly and efficiently, which was really appreciated. The only minor downsides were that parking could be a bit tricky at times, and the room is directly underneath the kitchen, so there was some noise. Overall, though, it was a great stay.

I have been through our database and cannot find any records of you being, or having been a tenant of ours.
I'd be very interested to know where it was you lived and at what time so that I can look back and see where we went wrong.
To answer some of your comments; firstly we don't just 'through' tenants into houses.
All tenants that enquire with us are thoroughly reference checked. We also carry out either face-to-face viewings; video call viewings or phone calls with every applicant to make sure they are the right fit for the house they are applying for.
Without having any record of you, it's difficult to know what 'complaints' you are referring to; however, as far as we are concerned all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

Ask for updates photos and videos of property AVOID
AS A TENANT WHO FORMERLY STAYED AT THE PROPERTY ......Please make sure to ask for updated videos and pictures of the Property, as old pictures and videos are still.being used from over 5 years ago, which means the state of disrepair and issues in the house are not seen.
You are led astray by these photos and videos.
Tenants have often been left unheard in there 79 swaledale property based in bracknell,especially when it comes to maintenance and repairs of the Property.
One tenant stating he has black mould constantly throughout the year, and frequently telling the agency about this issue, and not receiving any communications or remedies. This lead the said tenant to buying his own cleaning supplies to suitable control this issue.
Another issue that was mentioned is that there are constant ants throughout the summer.One tenant also spent his own money on pest control solutions such as ant powder,bug/fly traps,paying for bins to be cleaned to being over run with maggots.
A tenant mentions that the garden is left untidy and unmaintained with one side of the fencing almost completely fallen over and again said tenant had to take personal measures to secure the fence after having to receive numerous complaints from neighbours because of this.
The heating always fails,and when it does is always a struggle to tey and contact the agency to receive assistance.
The ceilings are cracked,and the downstairs has even collapsed twice over the past 2 years,putting one bathroom completely pit of action for several weeks.
Tenants have also disclosed that there rooms have been entered and cupboards and draws/items have been moved or left opened,leading them to feel concerned for there privacy whilst out or working.
With all these issues still waiting to be remedied the tenants are still trying to communicate efficiently with agency/landlord.
Apply at own risk, but please search properties available first.
I will also gather the pictures of said repairs and issues from current tenants (as still in contact) just so it can be clearly shown its not fictional and has happened especially the downstairs shower room.
The newer properties are very well maintained i shall give the agenct that credit,but with houses in there care for more than 5 years or in the easthampstead area are quite poor, there's a house in viking in bracknell that also had a damaged shelter hanging off the wall and several repairs needed completing, so again I give them credit that its not all properties from what I see its more in bracknell(easthampstead areas).

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your account of a property we look after.
It's a little difficult to respond to your hearsay review, especially as you have offered no fist hand experience.
However I will endeavour to address some of your spurious comments.
Whist some of the marketing photos are reused, they are certainly not five years old. Likewise any videos we produce and provide to applicants are recorded once the current tenant has vacated, making the videos days old, not years.
Applicants are also offered in-person viewings so that they can see the condition of the property for themselves.
Your comment that tenants are un-heard couldn't be further from the truth. All of our houses are currently operated on a house WhatsApp group, which is monitored 24/7 and responded to with 1 working day.
We also carry out regular surveys to ensure the maintenance of the property is upheld to the highest possible standard.
Black mould can appear in any property and is often caused by water vapour condensing on a cold service, causing the surface to become moist. This moist surface then allows the naturally occurring spores to form.
This can be reduced significantly by increasing the due point of a surface, typically by heating it. Background, or passive ventilation will also help with the air flow and reduce mould growth.
We often find that despite this advice, people will refuse to open windows or the trickle vents provided in all out properties, which in turn causes the moisture laden air to remain, leading to mould.
Ants again can come into any property, normally in search of food. It's safe to say that if any ants did come into the property, as alleged, then it would be because people haven't been cleaning up after themselves.
We provide a cleaner who visits every two weeks, however, despite this provision, some people still fail to wipe sides down, clean up spillages on the floor or take the bins out. I'm sure you wouldn't expect a company to be visiting daily to clean up behind adults and they need to be taking some responsibility themselves.
With regards to the garden, this is maintained during the spring and summer months. When a fence is damaged, as I'm sure you are aware, you need to establish whose responsibility it is to maintain. Just because this is a rental property, it doesn't automatically make it the landlords responsibility to maintain all fences.
In these events we always ask the owner to provide their title deeds to establish their responsibility. I suspect on this occasion the neighbour in question wanted the landlord to pay for the fence when it wasn't theirs to repair.
The heating doesn't always fail, there is a NEST system in the house which sets a programme based on the tenants use. They have full, uninterrupted access to heating and hot water. Again, there is a house WhatsApp group which issues can be reported on, and are dealt with promptly.
There are no collapsed ceilings, and there never have been. This suggestion is purely fictional.
24 hours notice is always given if we need to access a tenants bedroom, as required by law. In fact we often give considerably more notice than that when programmed work is going ahead. We do not access tenants cupboards so again this suggestion is fictional.
Finally, you go back to the tenants waiting for efficient communication and repair works. To reiterate, the tenants have access to a house WhatsApp group which is monitored 24/7 and responded to promptly.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for giving us the opportunity to highlight all of the work we do to maintain our houses. It's nice to have a platform to share this work as often it goes unseen and unnoticed.

Thank you for your feedback, although I don't think this is meant for us.
I have checked our management system and can find no record of you as a tenant or landlord of any of our properties.
We offer a zero fee tenant service, that is to say we don't charge our tenants and fees what so ever. Its a little unclear how this can be 'excessive' and leads us to believe this is meant for another agency.
We take the accusation of racism very seriously and vehemently deny such a claim. We have over 350 tenants of all races and backgrounds and treat each tenant equally.
Also your spurious claim that we 'take illegals' is entirely untrue. All of our tenants undergo a full reference check, which includes the proper Right to Rent checks, as required by law.
They also under go an employer and landlord reference check as well as a credit check.
May I suggest you remove this feedback from our page and direct it at the company it is meant for as clearly your claims are not meant for us.

I rented a room in a great property in Martins Heron. The management and communication response from White Horse PC was good, clear and timely. The housemates were a joy to live with, I was sad to move away and would have enjoyed living in the White Horse PC property for longer. Given the opportunity I would rent with them again, and do recommend others to use them, based on my good experience over 8 months.

I picked a room that looked like a lovely new build by White Horse. I managed to pick a house share with disgusting tenants who were always leaving the house in a state, cooking stinky fish, using others cooking items and generally being inconsiderate. Even White Horse, on a few occasions complained that the tenants were awful... yet did nothing to get rid of them? Bizarre.
It got to the point that renting a house for 3x the amount was more worthwhile to my mental health than staying in the house.
AVOID WHITE HORSE. THEY WILL THEN CHARGE YOU RIDICULOUS FEES FOR THE DEPOSIT.
I WAS CHARGED £215 FOR A WALL NEEDING REPAINTING BY THEM AND A BROKEN PLUG SOCKET. I ASKED THEM PERMISSION TO HANG UP SOME CUBES, WHICH THEY FAILED TO TELL ME THEY DID NOT KNOW THE COLOUR OF THE WALL!!!! SO THEN I WAS TOLD OFF FOR NOT MATCHING THE COLOUR OF THE WALL, AM I A MAGICIAN?
Honestly... the most rude, unresponsive people I have ever had the displeasure in renting through. I would NOT recommend using their services or renting through them unless you want to live with unvetted individuals and no support from the agents.
The person who lived in the room before me was frequently visited by the police and even urinated on the floor regularly in protest... the room stunk of smoke!! Really good processes they use to vet who you are living with....

Thank you very much for your feedback, I guess this is in retaliation to the deposit claim we made against you to get the room rentable again.
I would like to highlight a few of your spurious claims, especially around the deposit claim itself. You have mentioned the damage you caused to the wall and socket, but fail to mention to deep clean required and the waste removal to take away items you left behind.
You also had an opportunity to dispute the claim made with the DPS, however chose not to, presumably in light of the evidence against you.
Instead of following that process, one we are confident you would have failed in, you've chosen to write this feedback in an attempt to tarnish our good name.
I would also like to highlight the comments you made regarding the previous tenant. These comments are an outright lie, the gentleman before you certainly did not urinate on the floor and was not visited by the police. This is simply not true.
I'm assuming that if the floor was covered in urine it would have smelt, and yet throughout your 15 months with us, you didn't once mention this smell or the smell of cigarettes. I find that a little odd.
Finally, you mention "unvetted" tenants and yet you know through personal experience that all of our tenants undergo a full reference check, carried out by our external partner. You went through this process in order to move in, so again its a little unclear as to why you feel the need to say we don't check our tenants when you know we do.
Its a shame that such feedback doesn't exist for tenants, it would be our preference to let any future landlord know how you treat their property and the likely recourse when you don't get your own way.
