Ordered £400 worth of timber on the 17th July. Selected a delivery date of 23rd July (earliest that was available).

I emailed to check on the 22nd if the 23rd was going ahead. Revived an email from David confirming they were on schedule and if anything changes, they call to let me know.

23rd - waited until 16:30, rang the office. No news or delivery. Spoke to Dan to be informed it wasn’t coming but would definitely be the next day. No apology.

24th - rang the office at 11am to check if it was out for delivery, spoke to Dan, he confirmed it was. 15:00, still no delivery. Rang up, spoke to Dan, he took my number and said he’d call me with an update. 16:00 - no update, called back, Dan said “truck is still in west wales” but will call me back with and update. 17:00 no delivery or update. Called back again, Dan said “it will have to be Monday now” so sadly had to cancel the order and now have to source another supplier.

Job won’t be completed on time, no apology, have to wait 7 days for a refund. After being battered by sponsored posts on Facebook and WhatsApps/ emails… just isn’t good enough. I’m not being a d*ck, I just wanted to have a delivery when promised or communication at least. I got neither.

Disappointed!

Items arrived some of the studs were quite bent but did managed to use them.

Very impressed with Wern Wood. Very competitive pricing, good communication and a fab delivery service. Wood looks a good quality too. Would absolutely recommend.

I didn't receive any communication about delivery confirmation, although I requested delivery for Wednesday 1st July it wasn't confirmed when it was arriving but apart from that very satisfied.

Always a pleasure deal with both on the sales line and with the delivery drivers. Drivers are very helpful in helping to move the order to convenient locations which is very appreciated.

Can't fault this company at great prices on wood and materials fixings etc great delivery service. Had to ring to add to order customer service was brilliant 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ will be new supplier of wood going forward can't fault them at all.

Required decking boards and joists for a home project. Ordered the materials from Wern Wood. Price wasn't over expensive and the quality was perfect for the job. Delivery was prompt and delivery staff were polite and customer service were helpful with my queries.

Used Wern Wood for all the wood and materials for my shed and decking. They have been brilliant from start to finish. Will continue to use them to insulate the shed. The delivery guys have gone above and beyond for us, even helped bring the wood through my house as I don’t have a side or back entrance. Adam has been great, anything we needed he was always just a message away. Really happy with the quality of wood, the price and my experience with Wern Wood

Thanks for the good timber - perfect for my fence

I ordered load of decking including some real heavy 6mtr lengths of 6x2 the driver dropped them off hand balled all of them stacked them neatly by the side of my house and closed the side door behind him fantastic company to deal with and the service was second to none thank you wern timber I will be using you again

Order was placed 12/05 for delivery 29/05.
Week of the delivery I was expecting a correspondence to inform me that my order was on its way or whether there were any issues.
29/05 came, no delivery at all. Rang the company 11 times and emailed, again no response at all.
30/05 finally managed to get a response via Whatsapp, was told it would be looked in to as soon as they were in the office. Another hour or so had passed since opening time and no response so rang again, this time I managed to get an answer to be told that the phone lines were down yesterday and that there were issues with road closures in the local area that had affected the planned deliveries for 29/05. Myself being naïve gave the benefit of the doubt and can understand that some issues are out of control, I was again assured that I'd be updated with delivery details ASAP. Another hour or so passed with no update leading me to ring again, this time there was no drivers or transport staff available at the moment but it would be put "on top of the list". Another hour had passed so I had to ring again, hoping for a reassurance that my materials were at least on their way to me, only to be told that there was still nobody available and when they were back they'd cut my rubber and hopefully get it delivered today. This is when I realised that this company were taking me for a joke, not only was my delivery a day late (with no explanation or contact) but that my materials were not even ready to be delivered or even picked up. 18 days prior I had placed the order. After being led around the mulberry bush for too long I informed them that I would like a refund, with the time I'd been hanging around waiting for materials both Friday and Saturday I'd not only lost a days work but had less than an hour to source materials elsewhere. I was informed that they'd process the refund "straight away" and send me a whatsapp photo to show it had been processed. I understand that it may take a little while going back into a bank account but a screenshot would have at least put me at ease that the money was on its way.

01/06 - Had to ring the company again today as I have not received any knowledge of a refund, no photo, email or any other correspondance.

Great company to deal with - The delivery boys were super helpful. They put all the wood ordered on my drive without any fuss. highly recommended
