Doesn't appear to make a difference with my Medicare Advantage plan. Does not count toward Medicare doughnut hole expenses. It double great if it lowered the price used in Medicare. WellRx is good to see prices for meds not covered by insurance or to see if cost can be lower than co-pay. There are differences between WellRx and GoodRx. Some drugs cannot be found on one but are listed on the other. Sometimes there are differences in the price between the two. Use both, but WellRx is typically better.

It's certainly important to understand how the ScriptSave WellRx program works - many thanks, Mike, for taking a few minutes to help shine a spotlight on the fact that we're definitely not an insurance plan (nor are we designed to be a replacement for insurance).
For patients with a Medicare plan, although we actively encourage them to double-check the cash-prices that we've negotiated by visiting the ScriptSave WellRx website, it makes sense that they will often find their funded Medicare plan to provide lower rates than our free savings program. However, most folks tend to agree that it's helpful/reassuring to use ScriptSave WellRx for a 'second opinion' (just in case there's a non-covered medication or a ridiculously high copay under the heathplan).
We're negotiating new rates across our network of 65,000 partner pharmacies every day ... so fingers crossed that, if there's a next time, we'll be able to earn an upgrade from a 3-star review to a 5-star review (our staff just take it too personally when they see anything less).

Best App Ever
Best service ever! This app saved me $90 dollars on 14 pills, the final cost was only $11! As someone without insurance it’s a great relief to know WellRx is in my corner to help me when I need it the most. I’ve been recommending this app to everyone I know, even my primary doctor is now telling her patients about it to help others in my situation. 10/10!
