WeGotYouBoo is the community I will be forever grateful for. I joined a little over 9 months ago, and since have made so many friends, memories and more.

Before joining, I felt incredibly lonely & isolated. I joined the community on a whim, and from the first 5 mins of me posting my “hey I’m …” post, I had girls reaching out to me.

I love that there’s option for a free meet-up - I think it’s made it so much more inclusive, and I’ve found there’s always one close for me to go to.

I also love how the team are now expanding their trips & retreats - there’s so many different holidays to pick from. I love going on holiday but I always struggled with finding girls to go with. Now, I get the choice to go on an amazing adventure with lots of like-minded girls!

Eternally grateful for WeGotYouBoo, it’s really made 2025 one of my favourite years ❤️

I'm so happy that I found We Got You Boo. The founder Lydia has created such a wonderful, positive and uplifting platform for women to connect digitally and IRL. The group chats are alive and thriving with interesting conversations on so many topics and they're a great place to meet like-minded women.
There are also so many opportunities to connect in person from the monthly free walks to retreats and international trips to destinations like Japan, Bali, Sri Lanka, South of France. For any women who are struggling to find connection or who have drifted apart from old friends, We Got You Boo is an essential to find sisterhood and support.

I joined the community a year ago, back when it was still on WhatsApp. It felt really welcoming and supportive, and I went along to loads of varied meet-ups organised by the hosts. As someone who’s a bit anxious in social settings, having regular official events to join was a huge help — I didn’t feel pressured to organise anything myself or worry about standing out.

Since moving to Discord, it’s taken a bit of time to adjust, but I’ve now got the hang of it. The bigger shift, though, has been in how the community is run. There’s now only one official monthly meet-up organised by the hosts. Everything else you’re expected to plan or suggest yourself, which isn’t ideal for those of us who joined for structure and support.

What’s been most disappointing, though, is how expensive it’s become. All the trips abroad now seem to start from around £800, and even the UK-based spa weekend was £650. That’s just not realistic for a lot of people. It feels like this community, which started off as something really accessible and inclusive, has now become unaffordable for many.

I’m still grateful for the connections I made early on, but I do miss what it used to be.

I joined the group over a year ago. It was smaller and on WhatsApp. Now, is a community of over 2.5K people on discord, promoting and organising mostly retreats and abroad trips raging £600 to £2000 for the official “hangouts” and let’s not forget about their monthly walk which you can have access to for a fee of £59.

I feel the community is now false advertisement since they organised two official types of “hangouts” a monthly walk and retreat/international/national trips ranging from £600 to £2000; if you are looking for and, most importantly, have the budget to it would work for you but if you are looking for local, affordable and consistent proper hangouts this is not the place for you.

I feel the “community” is more like an agency for only female trips. I am not sure how much of a proper feeling of community you can obtain with over 2.5k members and not accessible to local, affordable and consistent hangouts organised by the services provided since there is subscription fee rather than the own members having to organise a hangout which defeats the purpose of paying for a membership.

I appreciate the tone of this reply rather than the one previously provided through email —which shamed me for leaving an accurate and honest review on this platform: “ You maybe think We Got You Boo is a big corporate business? […] We’re always open to finding a fair and constructive way forward, but I’ll also always stand up for our lovely community and won’t accommodate behaviour (like leaving damaging public reviews) that feels more focused on causing harm than finding resolution.” (WGYB team).

I stand by my original review: this current ‘community’ dynamic does not provide frequently, consistent and affordable hangouts as stated by your terms and conditions “ Unlimited Meet-Ups and Women’s Retreats (think coffee and brunch, hiking, yoga, axe throwing (!), dinner and wine, art classes etc.)". I have been entering the group time to time since a few months ago and I can see to two types of official hangouts —organised by the service providers:
(1) one monthly walk per city,
(2) retreats/international/national trips

The company statement is misleading: “we host meet-ups & hang outs in the form of brunching, hiking, axe throwing, museum wandering, wild swimming & much more!” The meet-ups and hang outs which are listed are included as part of retreats/international/national trips ranging from £600 to £2000.

As I stated on my original review: if you have the budget for, this ‘community’ might work for you, but is you are looking to consistent, frequent and affordable hangouts I’d recommend exploring free of charge communities.

My original review is aimed to help girls on a budget to make an informed decision since to access to the hangouts/meet-ups you either go to a free walk monthly or spend hundreds or thousands of pounds.

Joining “We Got You Boo” has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. This incredible club is all about arranging meet ups for kind gals across the world. From arranging a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Sri Lanka to creating unforgettable retreat experiences. From exotic getaways to thrilling adventures, their trips truly know how to make every moment special.

But what makes “We Got You Boo” even more amazing are the wonderful ladies I’ve met through the club. Everyone is so kind, supportive, and welcoming. It’s like being part of a big, loving kind gal club.

One of the unique aspects of this club is how most of the meet-ups are organized by the members themselves. This has led to the formation of various groups that I feel lucky to be part of, such as a Sunday lunch club, an escape room group, and a city break group on WhatsApp. These smaller groups have allowed me to build deeper connections and enjoy regular activities with like-minded friends.

Thanks to “We Got You Boo,” I no longer feel lonely. The sense of community and belonging I’ve found here is truly priceless. If you’re looking for a way to enrich your life with amazing experiences and wonderful friendships, I can’t recommend “We Got You Boo” enough!

This is such a wonderful community of kind and fun women! I joined 5 months ago and have absolutely no regrets. There are no obligations or pressures, you can dip in and dip out as you please, attend events or just chat in the group chats. It’s there for you when you need it most. I have met so many lovely women through this community and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to make new friends and go on new adventures ❤️

I have been a member of WGYB for 5 months and I have been so happy since joining! I have attended all kinds of events in my area, met the most friendly girls. And I was lucky enough to attend the retreat in York, I had the best time and think this group is brining so much joy and happiness to women! If you're on the fence about joining - please give it a chance, I have never regretted my decision.

I have been meaning to post about this amazing group for the longest time and I'm finally doing it!!
Honestly can't actually say enough good things about this amazing community. I've been apart of boo group since april/may this year and honestly have meet some amazing girls who I've built a hopeful long lasting friendship with!! I've been to so many events and each one is different than the last. It's such a great group to be apart of with regards to doing events as if there's anything you want to do there generally going to be someone else that wants to join which you probably wouldn't have had before joining the group, or atleast that was in my case😅 I've also had the privilege of being an Ambassador for this amazing community and setting up events for all the gorgeous boos to attend!

I've also just returned back from the Autumn York retreat, which I honestly can not even put into words the experience. So many laughs, drinks and fun activities.

Looking forward to the upcoming events and the next retreat🌻

I can not speak more highly for anyone wanting to take the plunge and join. This group was popping up on my social media last year December when I was going through a rough time and it kept on popping up until I took the leap and honestly best decision by far! So anyone that's feeling skeptical or worried they won't fit in👀 take the leap and join. It's been a saving grace for me and many others and you won't regret it💛

I can't wait to see what's installed for this community and what amazing events we will be running in the future, but I'm so happy that I will be along for the ride of my life🎢

Just returned from the amazing weekend retreat in Yorkshire and loved every second! The food from the Shed was fantastic and the activities for the weekend were calming and relaxing and taught me a lot about what I want. The sound bath in particular was so special, I have never been so relaxed in my life. The girls lived up to their name, kind and wonderful. Amazing experience! Can’t recommend this group enough and look forward to getting out there in the events!

Just got back from attending the Autumn wellness retreat with We Got You Boo and it was one the best experiences I’ve had! Instantly, as soon as I arrived and throughout the weekend, everyone was so welcoming. Most of us did not know each other and yet everyone made a huge effort to get to know one another. The organisers (big shout out to Lydia) could not do enough for us and the array of activities that were hosted was so well organised. I cannot wait for the next one!

It’s perked me up so much in my time of trouble and loneliness. It’s let me express my feelings, take about problems, meet with some great people, got me out of my comfort zone. I would recommend to anyone that is struggling in adult life or just wants to get out there and be active.

I went to an unofficial meet up organised in the discord channels. I was worried about what it would be like meeting so many strangers. It felt a tiny bit awkward at first but didn’t take long before we all clicked and were laughing like we’d known eachother years. A week later I find myself camping with the same girls, now we’re chatting most days in whatsapp, organising festivals, holidays and more fun things to do. I feel like I instantly made a whole new group of friends. I’ve felt more supported in the last two months than I have for years. Great idea by Lydia, wish I’d joined ages ago. They are the most lovely girls and its amazing what a community has been created. Its actually given me the confidence to finally relocate and be confident I will have friends!

I joined We Got You Boo around 8 months ago after feeling a little lost in London. All my friends had gotten married and had babies and I felt like I needed to expand my girl gang and start doing lovely activities on a weekend again.
I can genuinely say that this is the best decision I have ever made! I now have a jam-packed calendar with the most fun events, and I can honestly say I've made so many lifelong friends! Everyone is so friendly and supportive. It's a lovely place to be! :)

I watched We Got You Boo Socials for a while before taking the plunge and signing up. I was so nervous at what to expect and it is beyond anything I could imagine. I can message any of the chats and someone will respond with caring vibes and you are not judged at all for asking all sort of things.

The ambassadors are incredible and organise some amazing outings. There is so much to do and even though there not as many boos in my area of the country, I still feel connected and part of the community.

Lydia, the founder, is forever striving to make the experience better for everyone. The retreat (local and international) look outstanding.

All I say to anyone thinking of joining is have an open mind and aim to have fun to meet new people. Anything else is a bonus!

I've been apart of this AMAZING community for 2 months now and it is literally the BEST decision I've made this year. I was going through some really difficult experiences in March/April and I felt really alone and sad. With Lydia's amazing marketing, her community 'WeGotYouBoo' popped up on my Instagram during the time I needed some girly support the most! I didn't know communities like this even existed, if I knew sooner I would've joined years ago!!

Since day one of joining, I felt SO welcomed and all the boos are super lovely. It's totally understandable for people to feel nervous and out of their comfort zone when joining the community but I promise you that everyone was in the same position when joining and we are all here together for the same reason, sharing so much love and support!! We just want to find long lasting friendships and have so much fun!

There are also soooo many channels to chat in, you'll never get bored as there is loads happening all the time, same goes with the events! Our lovely ambassadors (including me!!) create an amazing variety of events all the time for all our kind boos and anyone can organise any event they want at anytime and there will always be girls who want to join! My summer has never looked so busy ahaha, but I LOVE IT and I'm so looking forward to all the exciting events I have planned and being able to meet so many beautiful boos along the way.

A HUGE thank you to Lydia for creating this AMAZING community 5 years ago. She's the most supportive, kindest and wonderful gurl and I'm SUPER proud of what she's achieved and she deserves so much love because she's making such a positive difference to so many women's lives everyday!!!

I'm so very grateful to have found this community and be apart of it. I honestly don't know what I would do without it, as it's become very close to my heart for how much it has helped me heal through the difficult times I was going through.

Where do I even begin to describe this INCREDIBLE community of women?!

This group has had me belly laughing until my sides hurt, climbing hills I’d never have attempted prior, giving me the confidence to share my hobbies with them, giggling about our dating stories, making new friends, recommending recipes and even eating steak together on a week night!
Most of all, these girls have restored my faith in kindness - we have each other’s backs and we guide each other through the tough times too - in fact I reach out to these girls for advice before anyone else I know!

The Discord app is an absolute hive of activity and there’s always someone around to give you some helpful tips on how to use it whilst you get used to it. There are regional chats and lots of separate hobby/interest group chats too (with more being set up as more interests are discussed). All chats are open to everyone so you can join any event or trip that takes your fancy even if you’re not from that area or just talk to other like minded girls who like the same things as you. Have you always wanted to try a new hobby or visit somewhere different but no one to go with? Throw the idea in the group chat, I guarantee you there will be other kind girls wanting to join you!

Finally, most importantly, a huge thank you to Lydia who is amazing! She is so responsive, supportive and positive and deserves SO much praise for this venture and everything she continues to do to make and maintain this kind girl community. This group has given me my smile back and I’m so grateful!

As with anything, you get out of it what you put in to it. We’re the kind girls - come join us?!

So far so good. It's my second day on we got you boo and I'm loving the greeting's of everyone, so nice. I haven't met with anyone as its still early day but am super excited for what comes my way. It's a 4 for the minute but not long and I'm sure it'll be a 5 when I put someone face to face xx

The weekend away was amazing, the weather was incredible and the event was superbly organized by Lydia. It's the right pace, vibe and lovely community who support each other and have a good fun. I have made great connections and enjoyed the paddle boarding and hike with the group. I would certainly recommend!

I’ve just come back from the 3 day Lake District retreat and it was absolutely incredible! The organisation and preparation truly showed throughout! All activities, lunches and brunches ran sooo smoothly and it was such an incredible weekend! Meeting all new girls who are genuinely the nicest girls I’ve met! Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of joining! You won’t regret it!! 🤩🤩
