The digital display stopped working correctly within the first week. It works as a kettle but wouldn’t buy again.

We tried to return our kettle on the 30 days guarantee. It was the black one, we already had a silver one but the wifi had failed.

Upon use I noted it beeped so much! It also didn’t have a filter for the spout. It was odd how it boiled stopping and starting.

We got a return label duly sent it off and delivery was refused. The next day it was reattempted and delivered. However Weekett wouldn’t acknowledge this and said it wasn’t there. It took me to prove the gps location to get my refund. It was an unpleasant experience and I don’t think I’ll buy another.

Customer service is slow to respond

We originally chose the black kettle via Amazon, but almost immediately we ran into issues. Within a month, the digital display became completely unreadable. We contacted WeeKett, and after a month of back-and-forth, we were finally told that a refund wasn’t possible and that we could only receive a replacement. To be honest, if this had been done when we had the issue at the start, we would have accepted it without issue.

Since we didn’t actually now trust the black model, we opted for the stainless steel version instead. It works fine, but we would not choose this brand again. The feature of controlling the kettle via Alexa feels rather pointless, we signed up for the gimmick! until Alexa can physically fill the kettle, it doesn’t add any real convenience.

The original Weekett kettle was very good, as is the customer service; the newer black version, not so much. Unfortunately it has a few issues, such as if you take it from the stand before it has fully boiled, it will remember that it hasn't boiled to maximum and continue boiling when you return it. This can be annoying if you fill it with cold water for next time and it just starts boiling again. There's no way to turn this setting off. The lid isn't as easy to use as the older version, as the release button is in the middle, rather than thumb based. The biggest issue is that it doesn't pour very well compared to the previous version, as it has a habit of spilling too much water. Here's hoping version 3 will solve these issues, as the original kettle, as well as the company are excellent!!

Team WeeKett has the best customer service ever in the UK. Very polite, patient and understanding. They guide you step by step and would do a follow up to make sure that everything is fine. They are the best. Also, I love the kettle. I don't have to get out of bed to turn it on and it's beautiful and sleek. Buy one, you will love it.

On my 3rd Weeket. I originally bought the silver kettle for around £100 and was very happy with it. After about a year it developed a leak from around the display that shows the water level. Got sent another as a replacement. Now after about another 16months I have the exact same issue so I have just paid out for the newer black version which has the led display in the hopes this one doesn't end up leaking also.

I bought my weekett and was happy with it. It helped a lot as I have balance problems. Kettle stopped working while still under warranty. I tried the kettle on my daughters base and it still didn't work. Contacted customer service who were so polite, so nice, but didn't arrange a new kettle,they wanted photos of the batch numbers, order number, purchase so I sent photos, they wanted videos of the kettle not working which I had to send via Facebook. I explained it doesn't work at all, not even on a different base that's working.
So they sent me a new base with an email stating if it doesn't work we will replace the kettle.
Not surprisingly it didn't work.
So I went back to the email. They then asked for more photos and videos of the batch number and the kettle not working on the new base.
By this time I had explained my balance problems and boiling water on a hob. Still they wanted me to get photos and videos. Then they just didn't reply. I went onto Facebook messenger and complained. I said the kettle is under warranty, it should be replaced, ive sent evidence. The kettle doesn't work its going in the bin and I am not doing more photos and videos.
They then replied via email saying they will send a new kettle.
They hide behind nice friendly emails but literally make you jump through hoops to get a replacement under warranty.
Id definitely think twice about buying from them again as you shouldn't be made to feel like a liar and the whole process to take around 2 weeks is unacceptable.
Now waiting to see if the new complete kettle arrives.

I ordered one of their Alexa Smart Kettle 1.7L and after 6 months, LED display developed a fault. I emailed them with photo and video proof, customer service emailed me the next day and they replaced my kettle with a new one immediately. Unfortunately, I had the same issue with that kettle after 3 months. I emailed them again and they came back to me the same day and upgraded my kettle and they ship the new product the same day. I know I am having a bit of problem with the kettle but the customer service is so reliable and problem solving. Thank you.

Weekett customer service was polite and helpful, my only disappointment was that I let them know it was a gift and it was sent in a box that stated what it was. The kettle itself connected to Wi-Fi easily using the app and instructions. I had no difficulty connecting to Alexa. When there’s a power cut it flashes and disconnects itself but it can be reconnected. It’s nice that you can choose the temperature of the water and I like the keep warm function. Compared to my previous kettle the noise it makes when heating is quite a lot louder but it doesn’t take long to boil so not a massive inconvenience. I would also have liked a white wire option so it matched my kitchen. It’s lightweight and easy to pour.

This was my first smart kettle purchase and I was a bit uncertain about connection to WiFi (given some issues with smartplugs since our Internet upgraded). The team at Weekett answered my questions and I gave it a whirl... no regrets. It's a great kettle. We love being able to set it remotely, particularly in the mornings - I now fill it up the night before, ready to go. And it's nice to buy from a UK business.

I bought smart kettle year ago. It's a great product, everything works as described. Unfortunately started leaking, it can happen I believe. I contacted customer service and they offered replacement for a new one. And apologized, they can't dispatch the kettle same day!! This is what I call GREAT customer service!! Communication with them was friendly, smooth and helpful. I wish all the customer services would be like Team WeeKett!!

Very poor customer service 1. Discount offered said £10 part exchange but the kettle was only £80 on amazon the discount of £10 was only £5 they wanted you to send your old kettle back which I agreed and sent out instructions out afterwards they company the use and them wanted you to use your box to send the kettle back in and drop it of at a location if your disabled or have difficulty you would struggle. I complained usual of excuses and standard answers. The product is especially aimed at disabled. I would not recommend and they are not the cheapest

Very easy to set up link with Google fast boil very good structure and modern sleek look so easy to use im on go constantly working for nhs so quick brew before work after work on way home I know it's lazy but this thing is amazing def recommend !! Buy from weekett direct other wise other places charge £90 + my only bug bare was delivery as it was a present took ages but it is coming up xmas too !! But all in all highly recommend !!

Fantastic bit of kit,Did have a problem with the WIFI talked to the weekett team who where brilliant and had replacement kettle to me in 2 days reported the problem on Friday new kettle arrived Sunday, Would not hesitate in recommending anyone to buy one of these

Exceptional customer service from weekett. Love the kettle and its smart feature of being able to switch it on from my phone. Can even set a timer for it to come on when you get up or get in from work.
I 100% will endorse weekett as a fantastic, efficient well oiled machine I wouldn't hesitate to by from this company again.

What an absolutely fantastic piece of kit.

Being a technophobe I was struggling to get the kettle to connect to the WiFi. I sent an email this morning (Saturday) expecting a reply Monday.

Within three minutes weekett contacted me with a fantastic self help guide.

It's now working beautifully.

Highly recommend this kettle and the company too.
