These people lie so bad and basically steal peoples cars. They leave out that if your car has a salvage title they will give u bare minimum for it, you can sell pieces off your car and get more than they waste all your time for.

It is true that a salvage title will greatly impact the resale value of a vehicle. This is common across the auto industry with any reputable buyer looking to purchase your 2014 Nissan Altima. We hate to be the bearer of bad news, and certainly we should have been up front about the negative impact a salvage title can have if we were alerted to this detail prior to the start of your appointment.
We record all calls for quality and training purposes, and we’d be happy to review the recordings to ensure we were completely transparent and set proper expectations prior to you arriving for your appointment. If we dropped the ball, we want to know about that and make it right.
I see from our vehicle reconditioning report that the Nissan had a variety of damage in addition to the salvage title. Condition plays an important role in a vehicle’s resale value and the Altima’s check engine light was illuminated, there were multiple diagnostic P codes, and the transmission had issues too. Unfortunately, with all these mounting reconditioning items, this vehicle was nearing end of life.
We look to purchase vehicles that have resale value, we typically pay out thousands of dollars during our appointments. We’re not in the business of picking cars apart and selling off parts and pieces for scrap. We’ll be the first to admit that an end of life vehicle can fetch a couple hundred dollars more if sold directly to a vehicle recycling center.
We’re not out to steal cars, and we’re sorry if we gave you that impression. Unlike used car dealers, we invite you to join us as we appraise your vehicle so you can watch us, see what we see, and ask any questions you may have. We want all our customers knowledgeable as to why we arrived at the valuation we did.
We’re sorry we couldn’t meet your expectations on price, we understand that soured your overall experience, but hopefully we provided great service in a pressure-free, transparent setting. Great experience at University City location.
Great experience! I put my Xterra info into the on-line portal and received a very good price right away. Tre, the manager called me once I scheduled an appointment and went through everything to expect once I got there. He told me Dean would be helping me. Dean was amazing! He did a very thorough inspection, took a lot of photos and uploaded everything. The price that came back was much lower. But he didn't stop there! He asked what price I wanted and after some serious negotiating, where he pointed out my trim was different from what headquarters was saying (I showed him the sticker inside the door frame) and I got the price I wanted. Go Dean!!!
