bought a wave spa not from them direct but a different company and was having a few issues with it....so with that I emailed wave spa and could fault there response...special thankyou to Sophie who got straight back to me when I sent the email.everything I asked got answered and couldn't of been easier into getting the problem solved and hot tub all sorted👍

I have switched from Layz spa to the Wave Garda and found it to be very positive experience. Here is a brief comparison:

Ive previously had the Layz spa bahamas and miami which was just a few hundred pounds to buy and lasted 3 years with some repairs. I also had the helsinki drop stitched model which is larger but was the worst one I had - it cost £800 and failed after 2 years with all the seams coming apart. I have therefore spent in Layz spas approx £1500 in 6 years. .

The layz spa was a good cheap introduction and chance to test out having a spa at home in the garden. Also good when children are younger and smaller -its less of an issue if a cheap spa gets damaged. Layz spa was easy to get to grips with and set up. But the main issues with Layz spa is that the spas are not built to last more than a couple of years - not at all durable. Additionally they are very expensive to run and not at all heat efficient. i did various things to improve the 3 ive had - additional covers and additional additions to insulation inside the lid and over the tub etc but it was still very expensive to run, difficult to keep warm when in use and broke down with faults after a couple of years - so overall not cost effective and not good for the planet with plastic liners being disposed of every 2 years. After the last one failed I did not wish to throw any more money down the layz spa river and started researching better quality spa's

The Wave garda ecofoam has solved many of these issues for me - durability will tell over time but it seemed robust when setting it up. The heat efficiency difference is immediately noticeable - the spa stays warm when in use, is quicker to heat and is cool to touch on the outside so is not loosing heat whilst not in use. Ive not checked my electricity bill yet but I would expect it to be a lot cheaper to run. There was a power cut last night and during 13 hours the Wave Garda ecofoam only lost 3 degrees of heat in 13 hours. Thats pretty amazing. The ecofoam wave spa is much more solid than the inflatable so it seems robust. I like that it is larger than the layz spas. Ive not been able to compare the bubble jets yet but will do so soon.

The only small negative so far on the Wave garda is that the 20 mins claimed to set up is wildly out - it took approx 2 hours and took 2 of us to build and it comes in a lot of large boxes which took up a lot of space whilst waiting to set up. Layz spa I could set up in 30 mins on my own from watching the video. Also the instructions were not very detailed (manual or video). But we did manage to get it up and running and I am really pleased with it so far. I also like that it has the padded 'seats' at the bottom that do not intrude on it being used as a splashing and moving around. I also like that the wave garda has the pump integrated into the walls of the spa so it is very compact and also conserves heat.

Overall the Wave Garda is a fab little spa - its the midway point and the next best thing in place of a rigid spa. I have the square version that does not take much space in terms of footprint but its taller and holds more water and feels larger inside than any layz spa ive had. It feels a little like a small pool due to shape and size and we all love it ! Highly recommended.

The eco foam series is awesome! We had an inflatable index in the past that we loved, but I was drawn to the wave eco foam’s design, and in person it does not disappoint. It is sleek, smart, and very efficient! The packages came quickly, but I did not find the set up as easy as others. I got the como and really didn’t think I could get the foam panels to ever fit together inside the liner. Elizabeth in customer service helped me multiple times via email with set up and questions. I found being in the US, emails are returned during the night or in the morning due to the time difference. Some parts were labeled incorrectly, or the manual was written incorrectly, and Elizabeth helped verify them for me. (what I figured out that worked for me was to stand inside with my legs spread feet pushing opposite walls apart to try to give myself a bit more space to squeeze the last panel in, forcing it in the gap straight down from the top) Once set up, the como was smaller than I expected, but still really nice. There’s no way you are fitting 6 people in there, and I wouldn’t even feel comfortable with 4. I measured, and the way you would imagine it’s measured (flat side to flat side) is 71 inches, not 77 as expected, which is the measurement from the farther corner to corner. I had ordered the led light from wave, and I found upon assembly I was missing a tiny little part that allows it to screw into the water outlet. Elizabeth helped order a replacement part for me asap. I wish I had ordered a larger eco foam series, but we do live this hot tub none the less. The foam is so efficient we were shocked, the tub heats up much faster than expected. I did not use the foam puzzle piece mat that came with the energy efficient package, they were thin and cheap, didn’t seem to provide much insulation. Instead I bought 2 inch rigid foam insulation panels, cut down to the footprint of the octagon tub, and taped the edges up with black gorilla tape, giving it a finished look. This worked really well. I wish the tub was larger, but love the design and efficiency!

We have had many issues with our hottub. You team have been amazing with supporting us from advice, help, repair and new heaters.
Both Sophie and Becki have been amazing with their help and communication.

Placed an order on the website this morning but when reviewing realised I had ordered the incorrect size too (6 person instead of 4 person) for my new wave hot tub. Sent an email using the online option on their website and I truth didn’t expect a quick reply and then expected them to say I would have to take delivery and then exchange.
To my pleasent surprise I got a reply just a few hours later from Antria advising that not only had she swapped it out for the 4 person size but also she had processed a small refund for me for the slight difference. Although only my first order online direct with Wave I must say I am very impressed and any products extra I need I will always go direct.

Bought a foam sided hot tub recently having previously had a few different inflatables. Order was quick, delivery was with DPD who is my preferred courier. Hot tub was put together by husband who said the instructions could have been clearer but easily worked out. It's early days but the foam sided seems far superior to the inflatables we've had in the past. Would definitely recommend investing the extra money.

Yes, I want to shout out Sophia for taking the time and emailing me back within a timely manner and listening to my request because I started to construct the spa and it was missing an item and she was more than helpful to go out of our way to find what item was missing so I appreciate the way she handled the problem and look forward to getting my items shipped . She is a great asset to wave spas team ……that is all carry on

So I bought a portable spa a year and a half ago and have only got 7 months use out of this totally junk product went through 2 heaters as I went to replace the 2nd on with the new 3rd one it did not work out of the box good thing I kept old parts and with no help from their tech sport fixed it myself ran it less than a month and now have a river in my basement from this unit leaking. They wont just refund me my money and can to a agreement for a full replacement tub but it never shipped in 2 weeks and the email thread has totally disappeared shocking just fully done with this product and company just garbage

Our customer service representative Jade has been incredibly helpful throughout. Really helpful, knowledgable and lightning fast responses…. Give the girl a pay rise!!

Customer service for wave spa is beyond excellent. I had few items missing from my delivery ( which happens) but team resolved it immediately responding within an hour on Sunday. Exceptional ! 10stars ( comparing with other companies I felt in the past ). Regarding hot tub itself. I ordered COMO model. Set up was super easy and straight forward . Tu bc is specious and look and feels luxurious. Double filtration system is something I have not seen before and I’m am impressed. I recommend energy saving bundle as it does really reduce loss of temperature drastically .

Spa arrived quickly. I wasn’t sure if I had received everything as everything looks different on line compared to what it looks like in reality, but received a quick and friendly response from Esther until I was satisfied I had everything. Easy to set up. Took ages to heat and get to the right temperature. Happy with purchase so far.

Ordered over the easter holidays, Sophie got back to me as soon as company reopened to say there was an issue and suggested a solution!
After a couple of friendly and positive emails we got a suitable solution established and now were all sorted.

Elizabeth has been fantastic! She replied to my inquiry promptly, fixed my issue AND went above and beyond the call of duty! She made my purchase painless and I’m so happy I went with Wave! I did a lot of research and the reviews have been 100% accurate. Y’all are great, keep up the good work!

We understand that lemons happen in mass manufacturing. After 3 heater replacements, they finally agreed to send a new hot tub. They sent the wrong one. A smaller one and would not refund the cost difference. Only about $100 but still… they also wouldn’t update the warranty meaning my new spa was already 5 months the into the old warranty. Will never purchase from them again.
