Good teacher, terrible changing facilities
Classes are generally good and excellent for under threes. We have found by comparison though that they aren’t as structured as we’d like now our daughter is older.
Also the Cedar School location in Southampton, particularly the changing and toilet facilities is very poor. Unfortunately unacceptable for us which is why we’ve moved to an alternative.

Hello. We are sorry to hear that the standards of the changing rooms at The Cedar School are not where they should be. All of the pools we swim at are fantastic for baby swimming due to their warm water temperature and showers at every venue for parents and children to use, however they are not all specifically used for baby swimming alone, and at The Cedar School as you may be aware is a special needs school. The pool when not being rented by us or other third parties is used by their own older children. As a result of this mixed use, the changing rooms are not necessarily designed to accommodate babies and toddlers alone. With expectations varying massively in our customer base we know that not all the pools (especially changing facilities we use) will suit everyone, but sadly we have to work with what we have available. I am sorry that in this instance you were not happy with the facilities at The Cedar School and we will do what we can to try and rectify this. Many Thanks - the team at Water Babies Hampshire.

Water babies is the best decision we ever made with our little one! He started swimming at just 3 months old and is now the most confident little boy in the water at 2.5 years old! He absolutely loves his swimming lessons with Angela every week and enjoys splashing around and learning new things! Thank you

My Baby Loves It
Started water babies with my daughter at 3 months old. She is now 10 months and we have loved every second of attending our weekly swimming lessons together. So sensory for small babies to enjoy and having had 3 different instructors due to us needing to change class times, I can safely say all staff represent the brand well; friendly, personal and run the classes as a non-judgemental, safe and easy going space. Perfect for new mums! Highly recommend!

All round great
Booking on was easy, the lady I spoke to was helpful, kind and efficient.
Classes are intimate, the instructor knows how to get the best out of my child (even when he’s having trouble listening and just wants to splash about). She is fun, engaging and the children like her.

Amazing teachers. Friendly environment and baby loves it. Watching how fast little one has improved in such short time has been incredible.

Underwater Photoshoot
We had the best time at our first Underwater Photoshoot with our 7month old. He loves his Water Babies lessons and the photoshoot was such a lovley way to celebrate his love for swimming. Everyone was well organised, greeted on the door by a team member and shown where to go. Once it was our turn you were in a lovley small group in the water doing a lesson with a one teacher then you had the dipper and photograoher taken the photos. It was all very chilled and calm and a lovely atmosphere 😊. I would definitely recommend everyone to do a underwater phtotshoot great value for money and a experience not to forgot.

Great swimming class
Really good experience with water babies for both our children! It Is nice to use the skills we learn from swimming outside and see them recognise the safety skills/words used

Great teacher
Our swimming teacher Jenny is really amazing she is also great with the children and we love her classes. The pool is always nice and warm, but the changing area is not so great since they no longer have the poolside assistant and they is no seating area for putting on shoes
